The area sustained 2 Hurricanes in the previous 3 months. The home was in surprisingly good shape. The home was well furnished throughout and pleasantly decorated. The exterior of the home needs some work, but did not affect our stay. The area is awash with no-see-ums. We all were constantly getting bit despite bug spray. There are 4 good double kayaks, paddles and life vests. There were not back rests for all 8 pisitions. The back rests that were present were not very good. There is room on the property for a sizeable camper with hookup (main reason we chose this spot). Weeki Watchee State park is near by. We spent probably close to 10 hours over 4 days (all combined during our 7 day stay) and only saw Manatees on one day. All in all, we had a really nice time. I honestly don't know if we'd stay in this immediate area again (mostly do to the no see ums). The hosts are very pleasant and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay here so much! We loved the dock and being able to fish everyday. We were also able to bring our boat. The house was clean & had everything that we needed. Jennifer was a great host and was in communication with me our entire stay answering any questions I had! Jennifer also allowed our 2 dogs to stay with us and we are so appreciative of that! We will definitely be back!

This listing checked off every want and need! Peaceful location Responsive and kind host Super clean Amazing water pressure and temperature in the shower which we all know is a must. Great coffee selection Spacious rooms A porch to spend the morning watching the birds on the water I wish we could stay here every time we traveled. We felt right at home!

Dafran's house was one the best places we have used. He is a great host and his responses were in timely manner. Place was sparkling clean and spacious. We already referred his place to our friends. He is very well organized and thoughtful. His house is on the water front with beautiful view. I can go on and on praising him and his place since it was so nice. He also has bunch of games for kids to play. Keep up the good work Dafran.

Such a cute spot and a quick kayak ride to the beautiful clear weeki Wachee river. Couldn’t find the washer and dryer and Derick responded very quickly. Would def stay again :)

The home is beautiful, not in a busy area, and has a great view / surroundings. Host is responsive and very helpful. Definitely would book again!

This house is a perfect location on the Weeki Wachee River! It was a perfect spot for a little spring break getaway with my family of four. Comfortable living quarters and an awesome deck to enjoy the beautiful weather. The inside is a bit dated, which is why I gave 4/5 for the value. But the place is spotlessly clean and the location can't be beat. Outside: Plenty of kayaks for everyone to use and an easy dock made for a quick launch. The backyard firepit was perfect for s'mores as the sun set. Tabitha was happy to give us a late checkout (with a super speedy response) so we could enjoy one more morning on the river. Def would recommend!

The house was lovely, clean and comfortable. I could cook all day in the kitchen with that view. Brought our bikes and rode to town to shop and eat. Great location. Joey was very responsive and helpful and Incredibly accommodating. We enjoyed all the amenities. Thanks Joey for everything!

My family and I were in Lutz for a wedding and David’s home was perfect for our quiet time away from the festivities. We were able to recharge and relax in comfort. I loved having coffee on the back screened patio in the mornings. Lots of beautiful birds and birdcall. Lovely, peaceful rural Florida lake setting that made us feel right at home. Thanks, David.

Beautifully updated home with a very useable Florida room off the back to enjoy the water view. Quiet neighbors, very convenient to local parks, Tarpon Springs, and Hwy 19.

Check-in was smooth, and the property was clean and well-maintained. The outside area was very comfortable, and the pool was a little chilly this time of year, but we still used it and had a great time! Our only issue was the bed. It was listed as a queen but was actually a full/double. Being 6’4” and 280 lbs, staying with my other half, this made it really difficult for us to sleep comfortably. We ended up purchasing an air mattress to use instead. We didn’t bring this up to the host since we were here for a family emergency and didn’t have the time or energy to address it. However, I’m confident the host would have been very helpful if we had reached out. This is a fantastic place with great hosts, and we would recommend it to others—just double-check the bed size if that’s important to you!

I’m so glad we came across this listing and booked it. Laura’s place was perfect, the kitchen was gorgeous, the home layout was spacious, the beds were super comfy, and it had everything needed - even things you didn’t expect such as flashlights, ice bags, iron spray, etc. You can tell Laura really puts thought and effort into her home. If you’re considering booking, definitely go for it.

What can I say? Well Katiuska’s place turned out to be pretty much spot on. It was a fantastic little 2-night getaway to watch the Phillies play one more time during their St. Patty’s Day game, which they won to boot! The living room TV was fantastic & the Roku app never missed a beat. We’d definitely stay there again, as the few neighbors we met were very friendly indeed.

Meghan was very friendly and quickly responded to any communication I has with her. Her home was very nice, very close to a nice walk at the lake and the beds were comfortable.

I would highly recommend staying here!! The place was extremely clean, including the towels and linens. It’s in a nice location and it was super quiet at night, which is rare for Airbnb’s in my experience. The price is fair and the amenities are awesome, especially the washer and dryer in unit! The fenced in private lawn was so peaceful and the kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need. I plan on coming back real soon!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely Lakeland home! The location is wonderful - steps from an amazing park and a short walk to Lake Hollingsworth. The home is beautiful, organized, and clean. Great family house, exactly as pictured and discribed. Centrally located. Quiet neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Had 3 generations including a baby. There was a stroller and beach wagon. Lots of beachchairs, sun umbrellas, coolers, everything you needed. Lots of beach towels. This stay may be costing us more than we were planning as the brand new induction range was so cool, hard to come home to our old range ;) There really wasnt any thing missing. Great communication and very resonsive. If you have kids dont miss Central Park in Largo. The best playground ever.

Beautiful Tarpon Lake Escapes perfectly fitted our needs for a family Christmas break in the sun away from the grey skies of the UK! Julie's communication extremely friendly, helpful and timely throughout. The place itself is very well equipped -kitchen-everything you need to self cater; bathrooms - all types of toiletry provided; entertainment from board games to table tennis and kayaks, if you're brave enough to venture onto the water! Lovely big decking area to watch the world go by. Our relatives live in Tampa so this was an ideal spot for getting to them as well as trips out to Clearwater, Busch etc. & handy for airport. Nearest area was Tarpon Springs which had an abundance of restaurants - we recommend Hellas (Greek)and Rusty Bellies by the water. We also took a lovely sunset dolphin cruise, direct from Tarpon Springs. These ideas recommended by Julie in her extremely informative online guidebook. All together a fantastic Christmas break. I highly recommend it.

We had a wonderful stay with our 3 kids. We felt right at home and enjoyed swimming in the pool every day, watching the sun rises, and fishing by the water. We were close to many great beaches and restaurants and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including snacks on arrival, extra toiletries etc, games for the kids, fishing rods, coffee and tea, and even an extra curling iron and straightener, to name a few. The hosts were responsive and provided all the info we needed. When we couldn’t figure out the AC Cindie offered to come right away to help, but luckily she gave me a call and we got it sorted quickly. Thank you for your hospitality, we would love to come back again!

Everything was great like always, the only problem we had was the floor in the spare bathroom. We contacted Sonia and she said she would look into it. I would reccommend it for anyone needing a place to stay in the Brandon area.
