We enjoyed a short ski trip to Berkshire East. M's place was comfortable, spacious and clean. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and make coffee. They even had dog bowls and treats for our pup! Snow removal was completed early, allowing us to get out and on the slopes for the day. As M says in the description, you definitely need a vehicle with AWD or 4X4 since you are nestled in the mountains. We enjoyed the bountiful binder with history of the small town and local attractions. I would caution people with young children and older folks about the steep staircase to the 2nd floor where the bedrooms are. The 1 full bath is on the first floor so if you're like me, you need to navigate the stairs in the middle of the night. We didn't mind this since it is part of the charm of a historic building and our family of four including two teens had no problems. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

We loved our stay at Great Maples and are already thinking about booking another trip. We shared the house with another young family, and it worked out great. Plenty of space, clean, and beautiful. Private and relaxing but also lots of fun activities in neighboring towns. It even had a playroom and lots of books and toys for our kids. We can’t wait to go back!

It was perfect for what we wanted! We were giving Grandma an 80th Hallmark Experience. A lot of what we did was in Woodstock and it was a noce 30 min ride to the town, but for us very convenient. We had a family of 14 and we played games in ythe main living room all together. The downstairs was perfect for our older kids to hang out in!

Beautiful area great amenity. Wish there was 1/2 bath downstairs. That was the only inconvenience.

From the very beginning, they were incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable visit. Their communication was excellent before, during, and even after our stay, making us feel truly taken care of. The property itself was exactly as advertised—spotlessly clean, well-equipped, and stocked with all the amenities we could ask for. It was the perfect place to relax and feel at home. Their attention to detail and hospitality made all the difference. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free stay. This was a perfect home for us. There was plenty of common space and the kitchen was stocked with enough pots/pans and other cooking appliances to easily prep dinner for a large group (we had 14, but I could have cooked for 20 in that space). I'd highly recommend staying here!

Stephanie was an Incredible host! The listing matched her description and the property looked even better upon checking in. Stephanie maintains this property really well and I couldn’t have felt any more at home. The home was clean and had a perfect cozy feeling to it. In addition, this was really close to the mountain, which made the getaway even better. I enjoyed the privacy and waking up to a nice snow dusting before my trip to the mountain. I highly suggested staying at Stephanie’s property if you’re looking for a quick getaway. I certainly will be looking to book again soon. Thank you Stephanie!
