Beautiful place on a pretty working farm. The accommodation is private, modern and has all the necessary facilities. Loved the extra small touches. There’s so much to do on the property itself. We would go back!

What an incredible stay at Berghuis. We absolutely loved it and wish we could have stayed longer. We recommend at least 3 nights to make the most of it but ideally longer. The pictures (while beautiful) simply don't do the place justice. We spent all day outside at the pool and entertainment area, loved the pizza oven and hot tub, amd admired the 350 degree views of the mountains and sunsets. The gardens are magical - we loved the herb gardens and peach trees with ripe fruit. Joubert was a fantastic host and kindly accommodated us for a later checkout. We can't wait to go back!

To be honest, we chose Heleen's accommodation because it fitted in with our round trip from De Hoop and we wanted to try something unusual. So without electricity and WLAN, and without light pollution for stargazing. The HotPot prepared by Heleen was the icing on the cake, perfect

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is situated in what seems to be a small valley. We used our time to walk into several directions including the rock pools and the bokmakierie trail. You have to walk this one as it takes you very high above the surroundings and gives you beautiful view all around. We regularly went to do our own game drives on the designated roads as we didn't had a 4x4 but still with a vehicle with high clearance. We saw a lot of Springbok, Gemsbok, Eland and Bontebok. We also did a bit of bird watching at the main dam early in the morning. The rest of the time just lounging around of course. The host was very responsive of our needs and questions. We would definitely be visiting Drie Kuilen again.

Everything about this trip was amazing. The house is spacious, beautiful and modern. Great for multiple families. The valley is breathtakingly beautiful with a little stream for the kids to play in. Jannie was an incredible host from booking to checkout. Thank you for a wonderful trip.

we loved it. here you really get down to gear, we enjoyed the view and the surroundings. fantastic nature wherever you look. the hosts were super friendly and helpful. we stayed two nights but would definitely recommend more nights so that you can really get all the impressions.

What a find! Perfect for two couples with kids, the splash pool was perfect for cooling off in the summer heat. Lovely veranda with braai and space to relax. Kitchen is very well supplied and the open plan layout makes for a social atmosphere. Rooms are great - beds are comfortable with good quality linen. Bathrooms are pristine, roomy and well laid out. Living area has nice couches, plenty of games, and the record player is a nice touch. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be back! Perfect base to explore McGregor and surrounds.

The outdoor space is fantastic - the braai and pool area is perfect for alfresco dining. Communication with Wayne was seamless from booking to checkout. If you're looking for a peaceful retreat with character, amazing amenities, and a host who truly cares about your experience, I can't recommend this place enough!

Had a lovely stay in the cottage. You are really out in the middle of nowhere, it is quite peaceful and quiet. Beautiful views around and the stars at night were spectacular. The included game drive was great! We saw giraffes, springbok, wildebeast and some antelope on the drive. We also saw zebras while driving on our way out. The bathtub was massive. Nice towels and robes as well. We used the pizza oven and braai and enjoyed the semi catered package. Note - there were a fair amount of flies in and around the cottage and they were quite annoying but bugs were expected with the remote location. I recommend taking a SUV vs a car when driving there.

It was really an awesome stay for me and my wife. We could really switch off and just enjoy the location. 100% would go again!

Wow!!! What a gem of a place!! Unbelievable location and surroundings. This is definitely the place to go to when you want to get out of the city. The owners are just as nice as this place is beautiful. We will definitely be back. I also hope you get to meet Japie - kind soul who loves lamp tjops :) And go find the waterfall!!!!

Wow! What a great place to stay! If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place for you. The hidden haven is located six kilometers from the road that leads through the valley. The house is very tastefully furnished, the bathrooms are great and the kitchen is fully equipped. We loved the pizza oven and the hot tub. An absolute recommendation !!!

Tolle Unterkunft in einer sehr schönen Anlage und Umgebung. Obwohl wir leider überlesen haben, dass keine Handtücher vorhanden sind, konnte uns Kathryn trotzdem schnell und unkompliziert weiter helfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

We have just returned from a magical stay at Arum Lily cottages. The log cabin was beautiful and set on a little dam. It was spotless and everything that we needed had been thought of. The flowers and biscuits on the bed were such a sweet touch too! We spent our time in the hot tub watching the sun going down, rowing in the canoe which was so much fun, watching the fish jumping and water birds swimming and just enjoying the peace and quiet. Mandy is a fantastic host and was so helpful and quick to respond. We would return in a heartbeat!
