We had a great time in Kare's lovely house. Kare is very friendly and always ready to help us if needed. The house is one of the best I had ever been to on vacation!

Absolutely amazing. Perfect rural location, lovely house and chances to see the aurora. Endless memorable things to do, such as snow show through the forest, cook sausages by the lake, sauna, sit by the fire etc. Communication was also brilliant. Could not recommend this stay more highly!!

We had the greatest stay at Kosti’s ! He’s the best host we could ask for. He’s always available when you need anything, and makes sure for your stay to be as welcoming as possible. The sauna and pool are really nice to enjoy, and the location is perfect. The (then frozen) river next to the house offered us the possibility to watch wonderful auroras, and the proximity the Ounasvaraa ski station allowed us to enjoy it as much as possible. I could only recommend you to stay at Kosti’s place if you want your stay to be the best, and feel as a local.

Sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes AirBnB in toller Lage. Zu Fuß ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten in der Innenstadt und trotzdem ist die Lage der Unterkunft sehr ruhig. Die Küche war super ausgestattet und es war sehr gemütlich. Es gab kuschelige Hausschuhe, einen Kaminofen und eine Auswahl an Spielen. Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem. Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit und können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen. :)

My friends and I loved our stay this property is absolutely beautiful the view is exactly as it is in the pictures and even better in person we didn’t want to leave, the kitchen was fully equipped which made our stay so much easier and we really enjoyed the sauna and hot tub, would definitely be returning

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful vacation home. The house was very clean and well-maintained, and the host was always helpful and available to assist with anything we needed. The property is fully equipped with everything we could ask for, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The location is simply stunning, with breathtaking nature right by the water. It was the perfect setting for a relaxing and peaceful holiday. Highly recommended – we had a fantastic time!

Saara was so wonderful as a host and the home was remarkable. We enjoyed our stay so much. Our family (2 adults and two kids, ages 9 and 12) found the home spacious, comfortable, beautiful...and outside there was an amazing hot tub and outdoor sauna, which we really enjoyed using. Saara met us when we checked in and showed us around and she was so nice and helpful. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this home and we'd love to stay again sometime :)

Die beste Unterkunft in der wir je waren. Sie ist perfekt ausgestattet. Die Lage ist absolut phantastisch, nach Rovaniemi fährt man ca. 15 Minuten. Kari war immer super erreichbar und hat und sehr gute Tipps gegeben. Es ist auch die perfekte Lage um die Nordlichter sehen zu können.

Very close to the slope, restaurants and shop. Quite pleace, really cosy. Everything was clean and well equipped. Nice place to stay in Ruka. what's the most important Maria is really helpful and caring. That was so nice to be there.

“Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in Maula” Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in diesem gemütlichen Airbnb! Die Unterkunft war genau wie beschrieben – modern, sauber und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders gefallen hat uns der atemberaubende Blick auf die finnische Landschaft und die Ruhe der Umgebung. Die Gastgeber waren unglaublich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Sie gaben uns tolle Tipps für Aktivitäten in der Umgebung und sorgten dafür, dass wir uns jederzeit wohl fühlten. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die Sauna, die ein echtes Highlight war – ideal, um sich nach einem aktiven Tag zu entspannen. Die Lage war ebenfalls hervorragend. Wie hatten das Glück mehrmals die Polarlichter sehen zu können. Wir können diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen und würden jederzeit wieder hier übernachten!

We stayed at Laura’s cozy home for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our time at her place. Her lovely home had everything we needed and so much more. It was spotlessly clean with helpful info throughout to make us feel welcome. The sauna was wonderful. The location is beautiful and in the middle of nature, with many trails. We even saw the Northern Lights! Easy access to/from the City Center by bus. Grocery within walking distance. All communications with Laura were very fast, helpful and informative. She is a terrific host! We would definitely stay again and highly recommend!

Mökki oli oikein kotoisa ja perinteinen. Takka oli mukava lisä. Lasten mielestä parvet olivat oikein kivat. Sijainti on kiva omassa rauhassa, mutta palvelut suhteellisen lähellä. Petrin kanssa kommikointi toimii oikein hyvin.

Wir hatten eine tolle Zeit in der Unterkunft. Die Lage direkt neben dir Piste ist toll, auch zum Supermarkt sind es nur wenige Schritte. Die Kommunikation mit Minna lief immer schnell und zuverlässig ab. Wir können die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen:)

Magnifique séjour dans le logement à Miia. Quel bel appartement, nous serions bien restés plus longtemps tellement nous nous y sentions bien. Miia a été très accueillante et nous étions libres de venir quand nous le souhaitions. De superbes activités sont proposées tout autour du logement, c’était vraiment pratique et idéal pour nous. Merci pour tout !

Die Unterkunft war sehr gemütlich eingerichtet (inkl. Sauna & Kamin) und sehr ruhig in einem Waldgebiet gelegen. Ski-Loipen bzw. ein Wanderweg liegen quasi vor der Haustür, bis zu den nächsten Skipisten ist es ebenfalls nicht weit (wenige Minuten mit dem Auto). Es war ein rundum toller Aufenthalt, in der Wohnung hat es an nichts gefehlt. Wir konnten an 2 Abenden Nordlichter aus unserem Hof sehen!

I had an incredible time at Riitta’s charming cabin. She welcomed us warmly, allowed an early check-in, and explained everything about the cabin, sauna, and activities. The cabin was small and simple, yet comfortable, with a cozy bed, warm blankets, and a window offering a stunning sky view. Heating is wood-fired (lasting ~3 hours), the bathroom is outside, and there’s no electricity (Riitta can lend lanterns). Bring your own food—there’s a gas stove, cookware, and a 5L water container provided. We were lucky to witness two nights of breathtaking Northern Lights, watching them dance across the sky and even falling asleep with the aurora visible through the window—truly magical! The sauna was another highlight: a traditional Finnish experience with optional cold dips and hot water baths. You can also snowshoe, ski, sled, or enjoy a cozy barbecue with equipment provided by Riitta. Everything was exceptional! Thank you, Riitta, for the kindness and unforgettable memories.

Nous avons séjourné durant 2 jours dans cette magnifique cabane ! Encore plus beau que sur les photos! L’hôte a été très sympathique et disponible pour répondre à la moindre question. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter, si nous revenons en Finlande !

We had the most PERFECT week here and were so sad to leave. We felt instantly at home in the warm, cosy cabin. Everything you need is here and more. Enjoying a hot tub under the stars in the tranquility of the forest and then into the sauna is a perfect end to your day. The forest is so peaceful and you can enjoy wonderful walks right from your front door. There were sledges for our children to borrow and to enjoy on the slopes outside the house plus the Suomu ski resort was a short walk away and easy to hire skis here and get a lesson. We enjoyed a husky experience and reindeer feeding at Salla and the Riisitunturi National Park was well worth the hour or so drive. Or just staying at the cabin and relaxing is perfect too. This was our second visit to this cabin and we would so love to return here again one day- it’s truly magical and has been the best holiday for us and our 4 small children. I recommend book it today- you will absolutely LOVE it! This accommodation is perfection.

Magnifique chalet pour passer des vacances en famille. Très facile d’accès et en même temps seule dans la forêt. De belles balades directement a pieds. On a bcp apprécié le sauna et les aurores boréales visible du jardin si le temps est dégagé :)
