Flew in from Toronto, Canada to this beautiful home away from home. Barbara, Graeme (and Rosie) were extremely hospitable and welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything you need. Lovely, comfortable linens and beds, clean and modern bathrooms, fully stocked kitchen, and great and private hot tub. The location is very rural, but easy to find with google maps. The town of Kilburnie is close by with a grocery store, gas station and pharmacy among other amenities.

Such a beautiful and cozy cottage! Lovely woodlands walk right by the cottage for the dog and Ayr and Troon beach are only a 20-30min drive away. The garden is not fully enclosed but was able to tie the dog to his long lead and let him roam the garden. Will definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay and would be pleased to go back. Handy location for popping into Glasgow and for Loch Lomond. The games hall was an extra we weren’t expecting

Gorgeous time away with family for New Year. Cottage very spacious as well as cosy and the views are spectacular.

Lovely and peaceful, with super loch views and a relaxed vibe. Nicely curated and perfect for our elderly golden retriever as everything was, bar a few steps here and there, on one level. The covered deck is ideal whatever the weather. Would recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at your gorgeous cosy house. We loved the festive theme, an ideal space to spend Xmas and New Year. Waking up to those stunning views was such a bonus and we made good use of the hot tub especially after doing the Hidden Heritage Trail which was stunning. We enjoyed seeing in the New Year and a meal at The Village Inn (literally a 2 minute walk away) with the Scottish piper adding to the festive atmosphere. Rachel’s Farm ‘The Cottage’ was exactly as advertised. Perfect for the wife and I to have a last minute romantic weekend away. Booking was so easy, the property was very homely and welcoming and we immediately felt the worries of the world disappearing as we relaxed into the hot-tub listening to the wildlife. Also after a day of exploring the area to be able to slip into that awesome rolltop bath. I’m one of the larger built gentleman, and to have a bath that I can lay in and fit was sublime. You almost had to charge me for the cost of that bath as I was tempted to bring it home with me. 👍and then to climb into that bed. I haven’t slept that well for months..! Honestly, if you are considering staying here, I would 100% recommend it. You will not be disappointed.

Great little comfy and cosy cottage within walking distance of everything in and near Brodick. Ample living room space and nice kitchen / dining room. Ideal having the enclosed space out the back for our dog too. Would definitely recommend for your stay in Arran. Lorna was very helpful throughout.

We had a lovely week in Furnace. The cottage is very comfortable with stunning views across Loch Fyne and an extremely well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the pool table in the games room and the slate painting. We had some good walks in Crarae Woodland gardens and did the Leacainn Walk in Furnace. Caitlin was very helpful and communicative.

Have just spent a few days at Ashburn cottage & it was lovely. The cottage was very comfortable with everything you could need & had fabulous views of the loch & mountains. The weather was cold, crisp & sunny so was stunning, we did have a wee flurry of snow. Loved the log burner, so cosy!! Had a lovely meal at the Goil Inn & The Boat Shed cafe a definite for a visit! Will hope to be back again soon 👍

We felt very much at home in this cosy, lovingly decorated cottage. Every practical need was taken care of, the heating system worked perfectly. We liked our meals at the big kitchen table and the quaint staircase leading up to the bedroom and bathroom. Personally, I found it hard to sleep because the mattress was worn out and very uncomfortable

This is a little gem. The views are wonderful, the accommodation is immaculate and David has thought of everything you would need. He is so helpful. Definitely going back without hesitation as it’s also a great base for Ayrshire and the lovely beaches. Recommend a visit to Nardini’s in Largs for every flavour of ice cream you can think of!

Very peaceful location. Beautiful countryside. Close to popular tourist locations. Comfortable cottage. Made to feel welcome by owners. Dog friendly. Especially enjoyed the woodburning stove, which warmed up the whole place.

We had a fantastic stay at Moray Cottage. The cottage is cosy, comfortable, had everything you could possibly need, beautifully decorated, homely and was just perfect. The location was a few steps away from the local pub which has great food, the views from the upstairs windows were fabulous, and we loved the garden which would be lovely in the sunny summers. David was a great host, and we really appreciated the welcome pack. We were given great suggestions for things to do and places to eat, and he was very helpful for my late arrival. We would definitely stay again - a real home from home!!

We had a wonderful time at Alison’s place and Alison was so lovely and informative, letting us know all the good walks and things to do nearby! We can’t wait to come back to this peaceful gem in the trossachs and loved how close Nether Glenny is to Aberfoyle if we did need anything! Fantastic stay and host, can’t recommend enough! :)

Fabulous & comfortable house with the best enclosed garden for our dogs, loads of birds & wildlife. Saw many red squirrels & even a pine Martin! The surprise is the wee sitoutery at the bottom of the garden with the wood burning stove. There are great walks all around with stunning views. We’ve arranged to go back again, Peace perfect peace. What an amazing cottage and location! Fiona was an exceptional host with outstanding responsiveness to a very late booking on our end with an early check in provided. The cottage has everything you could need and there is so much to do in walking distance and so much more with a wee drive away. We will return very soon as six days wasn’t enough! This is an outstanding option if your heading this way with a fantastic host.

We had a weekend of wellness here and it was amazing . All our guests from all over the UK commented on how amazing the place was . The views are absolutely amazing and the whole house is so cozy , the kitchen is huge and we used it for all meals to eat in as well. I would thoroughly recommend staying here , there are local shops nearby and most places are 10-20 mins away depending on what activities you would like to do . Overall an amazing wee place to stay , we will see you again. From all the guys from the SWS Group

Laura and Ronnie are the perfect hosts. They greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly. We had many amazing chats with them during our stay, and they were very responsive when we needed them. They put milk, toast, eggs and butter in the kitchen. The veiw was amazing, you could see the lake from the porch. There's a nice quiet walk nearby which we loved! would definitely stay there again

We had a great time in this beautiful, cosy cottage in the woods. Very well equipped and we loved the wood burning stove and all the artwork. The cottage is a 5 minute walk from Kilfinan forest trails. We will definitely be coming back

Had a wonderful time at Bea's cottage. The location was idyllic and perfect for a New Years escape to nowhere with amazing starry skies when the weather was kind. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and the whole place felt really cosy. Would highly recommend and would absolutely stay there again.
