We loved our stay! Stephano has created a unique, artsy space. The space is open, airy and connected to the outdoors. It is perfectly located outside of town yet in a great location for seeing the area. The yard is gorgeous and we loved the outdoor spaces with the hammocks. Stephano is a joyful host and quick to respond to any questions or needs you may have. The place is a gem, you can feel the love. If you are looking for a space that connects you to nature this place is for you! Be sure to eat at Playa de los Artistas. Hard to leave.

Jose was super helpful and very quick to respond. He even booked our ferry to Puntarenas for us as the website was very awkward for us to navigate. He trusted us to just leave some money on the counter for the tickets. Thanks Jose!

Due to an unfortunate issue with our original place to stay, we had to make a last minute pivot. We were so grateful to have found Richard’s place and his incredible hospitality. This place is toward the north part of the town, so it felt much less crowded and it was particularly quiet at night. All we heard were the waves and an occasional lizard on the roof! 😂 We cooked most of our meals at the property, and the kitchen setup worked great. The instant beach access was amazing, and the ability to come back and relax in the hammocks and at the table/couch area in the shade was also a giant perk. Maria cleaned the place each day, which was also a bonus and an example of their wonderful care. It’s located beside a cafe, which does mean more people nearby at times, but it also means quick access to food/drink. Aside from the first evening when a DJ was playing at the cafe (Sunday funday!), it was a quiet and peaceful place to relax and enjoy a beautiful location. Many thanks!

The houses are beautiful and we arrived at night to find banana bread, coffee, eggs, coconut water, and coffee for breakfast... so thoughtful! The house and grounds are beautiful. We had monkeys in the trees, the pool was great. It is walkable to the stores and beach but coming up with groceries is a workout. The kitchen is well equipped. (we love to cook). The beds and furniture are very comfortable. We have been to Santa Teresa 4 times and previously stayed in a house on the beach at the other end of town. The last time we were there was 2019, it has really grown since then. We missed the chill vibe it is a lot more popular with a a lot more tourists. This house is up on the hill giving you great ocean views and the house is really spectacular. The price is super reasonable for the area and amenities. We were glad to be on the quieter end of the beach. Thank You Richard for sharing your lovely house.

We had a great stay! Galina was very helpful with everything we needed, and the house was very comfortable.

We had an amazing month-long stay at Elias’s place in Manzanillo Beach! The location was perfect—just a short walk to the beach, peaceful and quiet, yet still close enough to Santa Teresa to enjoy all the great restaurants and activities without the constant noise and traffic. The house itself was comfortable and well-equipped, but one of our favorite things was relaxing in the hammock after lunch, watching the howler monkeys in the trees right above us. It was such a unique and special experience! If you’re looking for a tranquil spot with easy access to Santa Teresa but without the crowds, this is the perfect place. Highly recommend!

Está casa es una verdadera joya en Montezuma. Su ubicación es un poco complicada (recomiendo un auto alto) pero considero que es el precio a pagar por tan espectacular vista al mar y al bosque y por la privacidad que el lugar proporciona. Además, Dave fue lo suficientemente claro para ayudarnos a llegar con instrucciones precisas, comunicación a tiempo y un video que hace más fácil el Acceso. La casa es tan hermosa como se muestra en las fotos; la piscina, aunque pequeña, es ideal para relajarse mientras se disfruta del entorno y del concierto de sonidos de la naturaleza. El pueblo está bastante cerca, a menos de 10 min en auto si se va por el camino corto (colocando ruta a pie) y a 20 si deciden tomar la ruta larga que marca maps con auto, cualquiera de las dos opciones para nosotros estaba bien. Gracias Dave por tu comunicación tan oportuna y por aparecer a la media noche para guiarnos. Mi familia y yo pasamos días increíbles y soñamos con una casa como la tuya. ¡Hasta la próxima!

We have been traveling in Costa Rica for 35 yrs, and this house is up there with the best places we have ever stayed. You are immersed in a vibrant green jungle teeming with monkeys, birds (including parrots) and wildlife (…had never seen agouti before; we had a pair on the property every day). No need for jungle tours: During your morning coffee on the deck you will see (and hear!) all the fauna you could ever expect to be lucky enough to see on a guided tour. And, you are literally a 5 min walk to beautiful, uncrowded ocean beaches. (Watching the fishermen pull in yellowfin tuna on hand lines is pretty wild) The house is modern, well laid out with incredible decks and very comfortable. No busy car or foot traffic anywhere near. We are surfers, hikers and nature freaks from Montana so this place is spot on for us. Cabuya and Montezuma are not for the White Lotus crowd….this area is true, natural beautiful Costa Rica. And that is why we will very likely return here.

Gorgeous gardens for indoor/outdoor living. Beautiful outside dining room and shower. Nice kitchen, well equipped, stocked, and designed. This place was paradise for us: walkable to the beach, Cabo Blanco, market, playground, cafes and small restaurants. Cabuya is a quiet village and this lovely place provides a peaceful nest from which to explore at a slower pace.

Apartamento muy bonito con mucha tranquilidad y cerca de Playa Hermosa. Muy recomendable!

Definitivamente volveremos, es un lugar hermoso, muy cerca de Santa Teresa y Malpais pero a la vez lo suficientemente lejos, Adonis es un excelente anfitrión.

Excellent séjour, endroit propre et calme. La piscine et la cuisine extérieure sont des espaces partagés. Très belle végétation, piscine chauffé et impeccable, région magnifique, air climatisé fonctionnel, hôtes aimables et respectueux. La location de la voiture nous a permis d’être autonome lors de nos sorties et nous avons fait tous nos repas sur place. Une plus grande épicerie est accessible à 25 minutes. Nous recommandons et nous y retournerons certainement. Merci à Diego!

This place is great if you want a true jungle experience. Host is responsive and it’s easy to gain access. It’s off the main road that passes through Gigante. DO NOT stay here if you are afraid of bugs… the house is open planned so critters easily get in. There was a tarantula in the kitchen sink when we arrived but as I said, a very good jungle experience with amazing views! Sheets and towels were clean, as was the bathroom!

Nous avons eut un magnifique séjour chez Jose. La maison est super bien équipé et c'est facile de s'y sentir chez sois. L'hôte est très gentil et discret. Il a sut nous aider et a été très compréhensif. C'est un lieux qui mélange confort et nature. Nous gardons ce contact pour votre prochain voyage. Gros coup de coeur!!!!

La casa es preciosa, y tiene de todo para pasarla de diez. El unico punto negativo si tuviera que marcar algo es que tiene muchas camaras de seguridad dentro de la casa y uno se siente un poquito observado, pero sacando eso lo recontra recomendaria y volveria sin dudas!! las camas muy comodas!!
