My stay was comfortable, host was friendly and responsive .. place was good but only thing that need a bit of improvement is linen in rooms.. but otherwise everything was great!!

Stayed here with the family for a fishing trip. Perfect amount of rooms, TONS of space. Kitchen and bathrooms were nice. Still a little confused about the layout because it’s so spacious. Upstairs is awesome, the games are definitely a fun touch. Host was super helpful/responsive. For being in Detroit, I’d say this is a good find and reasonable pricing.

Exactly as described, great alternative compared to the much more expensive hotels in the area.

Nice spot to just sit and have your morning coffee looking out over the lake. Lots of wineries and small breweries to visit. Lots of dining options. The house is very clean and fresh. We would return if in the area

We loved this place. Perfect location for fishing the Detroit River. Kal is an amazing host. We had everything we needed. Definitely will stay here again.

Excellent host and house. Lot’s of nice touches like bedroom ceiling lights with built in fans, end tables with chargers, and wall mounted magnetic tic tac toe. Pool table and hot tub make it a fun stay. We did a bunch of activities in and around Detroit and Ferndale and this Airbnb is right in the middle of it. 10 min to so many things. The area is very rundown which can be jarring if you’re not familiar with Detroit. I brought 4 Idahoans with me and they didn’t want to get out of the car. But once we got inside everyone felt safe and comfortable and we had an excellent, problem-free 3 day stay here.

The hosts were incredibly accommodating. When some work we were having done at our house fell through, they allowed us to rebook and credited back our first stay. The place was super cool, well decorated and very clean. The amenities were great too - probably the most well-appointed Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Everything we needed and even some things we didn’t know we did! Thanks again Allison and Anthony!

Had a great stay in Royal Oak, MI, while visiting over Christmas. The apartment was just as described—cozy, clean, and nicely decorated. It was well-heated and warm, which was much appreciated during the chilly winter nights! The location was ideal near family. It was just a short walk to the town. It was close to major highways, making it easy to get around the metro Detroit area. The host was incredibly responsive. Even quickly messaging late on Christmas Eve and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. They even provided some lovely touches like coffee, snacks, and a local guidebook. Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy getaway in Royal Oak. It’s a great base for exploring the area or just relaxing for a few days. Would absolutely stay again!

My stay at Carole’s Motown Oasis was wonderful, choked full of amenities and plenty space to stretch out. It was clean and ready for a peaceful stay. Perfectly equipped for a short or long stay. Plenty of desk space for work and tv equipped in every room. It has a nice walk out patio perfect sunbathing or morning breakfast. All around great stay and better host cant wait to visit again.

Great apartment that felt, and was, comfortable and homey. Decor was fun and modern without feeling stark or unwelcoming. Anything we could've needed was available for our stay. Hosts were accomodating and responsive. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyed our stay very clean a lot of necessities for us more than expected you really don’t need to bring anything but food they had everything you could think of there to use for cooking supplies… was also was very easy to find and the neighbors around us were nice also would definitely recommend…

I was very pleased with this booking. Jerald was a lovely host. The house is gorgeous and clean. Jerald has an eye for decorating and everything was beautiful. I love to read and loved the book selection! We felt very safe and the outside area was beautiful. There are lots of beautiful song birds and other critters around and in the canal. I would definitely book this place for a long weekend and would love relaxing on the deck or by the fire pit with a book from the house! It is a perfect location for any activities in Detroit, or for an extended stay. Highly recommend!

Stephanie and Dana's place is great and they answered all of my questions whenever I had concerns. the place is clean and has a fully stocked pantry and kitchen, we enjoyed the pool and rec centre very much. the resort is quiet and clean, the staff and residents are friendly and helpful, unlike other camp grounds that we have been that people were rowdy and loud until midnight. we had a great time relaxing and have fun in Stephanie and Dana's place and we look forward to coming back in the future.
