Ryan and Kiki were absolutely wonderful hosts! The home was just as described and well maintained. They had thought through the amenities, comfort of their guests, and overall guest experience. They were very responsive during our stay, and even came out to kindly deliver a lighter and starters for the fire pit after we realized we hadn't brought a lighter ourselves - this was the only thing missing, which is incredibly telling of just how well they prepared their home for guests. We were traveling with a baby and their attention to detail even went so far as to ask me at what level they should set up the crib for us; they even blocked the electrical outlet near the crib for the baby. The home was very clean and well-located amidst peaceful woods, lakes, and just minutes away from Starved Rock, Ottawa, and North Utica. They had a very generous welcome basket waiting for us with treats, and a well thought-out guide. We would definitely stay again!

Clean and comfortable space; several decks and lots of light. We’ll come back in the summer to explore more of the area!

A great anniversary getaway. The perfect amount of space plus a little more. Can’t say enough about how amazing the upkeep of this place is, so clean and beautifully decorated. Jason was so kind in giving us all the info we needed before we got there so we felt prepared. We even had the smoke detector battery start chirping (by no fault of him, it happens) and we contacted him and he responded immediately and it was fixed. No issues with the area, it’s quiet and I would say if you are looking for something more lively, this wouldn’t be for you. But we love quiet. The factory across the river does let off a low hum and sometimes you hear the railcars but truthfully, it was actually soothing rather than hearing absolute silence. We enjoyed watching for the many animals among the neighborhood, birds, 2 cats, a pig, dogs etc, truly a gem! Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in a quiet, pet friendly neighborhood with lovely views of the river. Everything we needed was provided and we liked the layout of the house. Regarding sleeping accommodations, there are beds for 6 people (2 queens with twin bunks above each) and additional sleeping options are provided via a pull-out sofa and 2 futons.

This place was amazing. Set in a beautiful, walkable waterside neighborhood. We loved sitting on the deck watching the fish jump in the harbor while watching the sunset. The kids loved the neighborhood pool. The house itself is just as decribed. Perfect place. We would love to come back.
