“A little peace on earth” Janet was there to meet us when we arrived. She let us know if we needed anything to let her know. A great place to relax and take your mind off of things. A pool right out side your door a grill for bbq cooking if you choose. Janet place definitely reflects her love for her family and passion for horses. We had the pleasure of meeting her adorable grandson that took a liking to my husband. He was such a sweet boy. Fishing off the dock was our favorite thing to do while we were here. My son couldn’t get enough! My family and I love nature and animals, Janet place was the perfect place to unwind and experience that. We highly recommend it for anyone who wants to relax and unwind.

Beautiful family friendly spot

We bring our grandchildren here every Spring Break. It is their "Happy Place." Andrea is amazing - she includes the children in feeding all the animals/collecting eggs/holding the chickens and they watch her milk the cow! No screens - just pure, unadulterated fun with running around, taking walks with their cousins down the country road, giving treats to the horses/donkeys, and playing flashlight tag at night. Thank you Andrea and Scott for sharing your wonderful country farmhouse with us!

Our stay at Chickie's Roost was fantastic! The property was beautiful and the barn was charming! Our girls absolutely LOVED the horses! Lavonne was an exceptional host - very welcoming and extremely hospitable! We felt right at home, for sure. We would definitely love to stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay with Walt and Cassandra. The house is very nice. The furniture and decor are very personalized and absolutely harmonious with the whole location The kitchen was excellently equipped - almost the best Airbnb we have ever had during all our travels. It was very easy to cook dinner. Another positive thing to mention is the bed - we slept very well on the mattress. About the area: The house is quiet and you can easily relax away from the hustle and bustle of a city. Super starry sky due to the low light pollution. There are chickens on the property, which provided us with fresh eggs every morning. There are also 2 cats living on the property. We can absolutely recommend the accommodation and would book it a second time.

This was our third stay on their property. It was our second stay at this particular one. It's always clean. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The property and area is beautiful and peaceful. Close to major city like Gainesville but far enough from the traffic and noise. The host is amazing. They leave fresh amazing eggs from their chickens and candy that we always enjoy! They also leave some sodas and other things there for enjoyment. Their showers have nice shampoos and water flow. I would highly recommend any of their places on this property! We plan to stay again. Thank you!

My husband and I loved how peaceful and beautiful the surroundings were. The views were absolutely stunning—whether we were sipping coffee in the morning or watching the sunset in the evening, the scenery made everything feel extra special. The space was the perfect size for two...it was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything we needed to feel right at home. A perfect place to relax and recharge!

Our only complaint was that we couldn’t stay longer! Peaceful surroundings, beautiful living space, and overall a very enjoyable experience. Manny and Maggie are so generous to spend time showing their horses and chickens and our kids loved it.

Veronica's place was so lovely and we needed a restful sleep after our long marathon day. We appreciated her thoughtfulness and her generosity with sharing her farm. We wished we could have stayed longer! The place is so well decorated, and comfortable we felt right at home and safe!

The cowabunga cottage was amazing! it met all of our expectations and Philip and his brother were very sweet and responsive. The cottage definitely helped us slow down and relax! the cattle were the best part,they were so sweet and my son loved feeding them! The porch swing was personally my favorite spot to hang out. Kevin was very responsive to any questions or assistance we needed. Our family enjoyed the home and amenities especially the game room area. It was close by Texas State University and area shopping.

Our visit to Melissa’s place never disappoints us! Our family loves our stay here! The grandchildren have fond memories of their time here and they look forward to our next visit! Our short stay at Cristina’s place was great, her home had everything we needed, the property was absolutely beautiful and less than 15 minutes from Biscayne National Park. We had a little mishap and Cristina was very understanding. We would definitely visit again!

The Hunter's Cabin is VERY unique. There are horses, turkeys and curly haired pigs roaming the property. There is also a pond with large catfish. The cabin was well built and furnished appropriately to match the name. This was my favorite of all the places I have stayed in over 15 years of traveling to Kerrville. It was like going back in time for me as I spent a large portion if my life living in Mississippi and working in and around animals. Sitting on the elevated back porch in the morning or evening was the perfect beginning and ending to my day!!

My family loved our stay at the farmhouse! Very peaceful, and lots of open space to relax and even say hi to the cows next door. The bunk bed room is great if traveling with kids. House was clean, and host was responsive to any questions we had. It’s a great location, near yummy food: Cafe Homestead and Red Wagon BBQ, and short drive into Waco if you’re planning to see all things Magnolia-related. Beds were comfy, and big kitchen space and living room area.

Fun and unique place to stay. Kitchen was well stocked, and bathroom was nice. Hosts were great and enjoyed the animals!

My stay was so peaceful, and the surroundings were beautiful! I was given very helpful and detailed instructions prior to check-in. The clawfoot tub was beautiful, and the bed was very comfortable! Highly recommend!

Our family had a great stay. The description was accurate, and were able to roam much of the land. Our boys enjoyed the animals during the day, and the stargazing at night.

Rebecca’s cabin at the G Ranch was a great spot for a peaceful get away in the country. The cabin is off the beaten path but was easy to find with her clear directions. The cabin is cozy and clean and had a nice porch with a view of the property. There was also a nearby picnic table and fire pit with chairs for hanging outside. Rebecca was a great host. She was responsive when messaged and greeted us to walk through the cabin’s amenities when we arrived. Would definitely stay again!

Fantastic stay. Ideal location. Secluded with all amenities. Will definitely be back. Close to Jacksonville and Rusk. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

Dalton was a great host and the farmhouse served as our much needed respite after exploring the gulf. We lucked out and arrived while the wisteria was in full bloom. Great comfy bed and so so so peaceful and quiet at night.

This place was amazing. It’s full of history and comfort. I felt right at home. The horses, cows and chickens were an amazing addition to our stay. I personally love when stays have animals- brings me comfort. We even had a beautiful fire in the fireplace and a bath in the beautiful clawfoot tub.
