This place is AMAZING. I rented a yurt for a couple of nights and I had a unique glamping experience. I went with my dog and we both have a great time. The yurts have everything you need to feel comfortable while surrounded by the forest. Although the place might seem a bit pricey for a glamping experience you should consider that you also have access to all the ranch´s amenities: a fantastic yoga room, a super comfortable library, and a pool. Moreover, you can request breakfast and other meals there, which I highly recommend. I also recommend visiting the Buddhist stupa at the top of the mountain. It's a 45-50 minute hike and it's totally worth it. For access to the property, you should consider an SUV; the offroad part of the route is actually better than some other offroad paths I´ve been in Mexico but it's quite long. Also, there are two entrances, both accessible from the cobbled street but Google only shows one of them. In any case, there are signs along the road you can follow.

Ana's place was perfect for our weekend getaway with kids. The yurt is in an amazing setting in the middle of the woods and it was a bonus to be able to use the communal areas in the main house and garden - the trampoline and swimming pool were big hits in particular. Breakfast was delicious and Ana and her staff were always very attentive. I can't recommend staying here enough!

La cabaña es un lugar hermoso donde se puede vacacionar en familia o con amigos! Muy bien ubicada para visitar Villa Rica o los alrededores. Fue una experiencia muy agradable! Sin ninguna queja!

Heather was very responsible from booking through my stay at the Yurt. The Yurt was cute and was surrounded by beautiful mountain views. It was also well equipped and comfortable. I would definitely stay at the Yurt if I visit Hueco Tanks State Park again!

O espaço é ótimo, super aconchegante e bem equipado. Tem cooktop, chaleira elétrica, uma cozinha pequena e uma geladeira pequena! Dá para se instalar mto bem, fizemos café da manhã todos os dias entre outras refeições. Sandra é muito simpática e sempre disponível a nos auxiliar e responde rápido mensagens! O sinal de telefone é bem ruim, mas o wi-fi funciona perfeitamente! Ficamos hospedados em época de chuva e é muito fresquinho na mata, nem o ventilador ligamos durante os dias que ficamos! A voltagem das tomadas é 220, para quem está pensando em levar algum eletrônico, precisa ser bivolt ou 220. Com certeza indicamos o espaço!

Una experiencia diferente que vale la pena, el lugar es precioso, tenes un pueblito cerca para salir a pasear que esta hermoso también. Es cómodo y está bien ubicado, cerca de la playa. Volveriamos sin dudarlo ♡

Great time staying in the school bus! The outdoors spaces made it easy to spend time outside as well. Yurt was a bonus and the outdoors spaces made shower was really nice. Would stay again 😄

We only stayed one night at Atleya’s place as it’s quite close to the airport, but we wished we had stayed longer. The home has a very special energy, very peaceful, and sitting on the terrace overlooking the valley felt like a meditation. You can tell a lot of love and care has gone into the space, with lots of thoughtful details throughout.

Uma experiência de privacidade, aconchego e beleza. A paisagem ao redor é belíssima. Tudo na cabana é como descrito. Local de descanso e paz. Atendimento da anfitriã muito amigo e cordial. próximo de praia grande para quem deseja opções de restaurantes e passeios. Recomendo muito!

Un lugar muy tranquilo y claudia una muy buena persona

Incredible experience; the hiking trails lined tree ferns and cacao, papaya and banana. The hosts are king and communicative, the place is enchanting and worth it all for the river. Don’t miss this; my partner and I do a lot of trekking and adventuring….neither of us has ever experienced the majesty of this river spot. Swimming through the canyon to the waterfall is an experience I’ll never forget. Thank you Alexa!! I even bought a handful of her homemade healing salves that will make for great gifts to bring home to friends and family 🙏🏼

The location is damn near impossible to beat as far as Terlingua goes. Basically down the road from Big Bend’s entrance. Nighttime is really nice out there too because it’s in a relatively isolated area, even for Terlingua. The wooden deck that the yurt sits on provides panoramic views without having to walk through brush and cacti and over rocks. I didn’t use the hot tub because it’s an extra fee, which is understandable given the scarcity of water out there, but the inside of the yurt is very nice. Super clean. The shower is a bit small when you take into account how the showerhead pours straight down, but I managed just fine. The bed was super clean, and the two separate AC units (controlled by the same remote) cooled off the space quickly even during 95° days. But if you like to sleep in the cold and want to crank the AC, make sure to bring an extra blanket because the ones on the bed aren’t the warmest.

Jeanne and Clyde were welcoming upon our arrival. They gave us the lay of the land and a quick informative run down on how everything worked. The Yurt was beautiful and the grounds were private and peaceful. We walked the nature trail on the property which had a beautiful overlook on Huckleberry Hill. We took in a local comedy show and explored the historic downtown. We drove the scenic route at Bastrop State Park it was serene and beautiful. Austin is about a 45 minute drive which was nice. The Reserve had a nice pavilion with games, a fire pit, outside accommodations like restrooms, overlook, hot tub, kitchen area, grills, etc. The entire property is very well thought out. We enjoyed our little getaway. Thank you guys! We would love to come back.

Es tranquilo y verde sin alejarse tanto de la cabecera municipal. Lorna es muy amable y todo estuvo muy claro. Volveré sin duda.

La experiencia de habitar la Yurta es hermosa, el lugar es super comodo y te trasmite mucha calidez. Muy recomendable usar la tina una noche de frio y cielo despejado, te resetea el cuerpo. Dato no menor, fuimos con dos mascotas y estuvieron re tranquilas, se ve que les encanto el lugar tanto como a nosotros. Juan Pablo es muy atento y su perra Gaia es un amor. 100% Recomendado!

Llegamos con mi pareja rápidamente. El lugar híper cuidado, todo muy amable y cero intromisión de parte de parte de los responsables a nuestra estadía lo cual permite una total privacidad. El entorno limpio, natural, y con todas las comodidades para desenchufarse del mundo. A pocas cuadras de las playas principales y con fácil acceso a la ruta, te permite tener unas oportunidades únicas de actividades. El silencio, el respeto y la musicalidad de la naturaleza son sinónimos de este lugar. Todo prolijo, se nota que aman lo que construyeron y lo cuidan como se merece. Lamentamos no haber podido quedarnos más días, porque la experiencia vale totalmente la pena. Totalmente recomendable.

My wife, our three cats and I had an incredibly wonderful time in the Butterfly Yurt! We were lucky enough to have the whole property to ourselves and it was the perfect peaceful weekend getaway we were hoping for. It was very easy to access the property and was behind a gate which felt safe and secure! The Yurt was the perfect size for us and the cats and was very cozy! The sink and the fridge in the barn were perfect for cooking and cleaning and there was plenty of firewood available for use! We really enjoyed walking around the property on the nature paths and got to see so much wildlife! We will definitely be booking this place again! There is a second yurt on the property, so it would be wonderful to bring some friends. Katherine was wonderful, easy to reach and very accommodating! Highly recommend!

Remote getaway of the best kind. My boyfriend and I went for just one night, and wished it would have been much more. The yurt is huge, everything is so clean, the hot tub heats up within 20 mins super hot, and it feels very isolated. Great quiet heater/AC in the yurt. Prosecco in the fridge & coffee for the morning. We had the best time. Oh and the bed - I'm not sure how they make it so comfy but it's a dream! Thank you for the best time!

Ramon’s yurt was perfect. The kitchen had everything necessary to cook a meal, the bathroom was clean and offered everything necessary. The bedding was crisp clean and cozy. There were books available to read a kayak to use at the beach, flashlights for night walks Restaurants and bars about a 1 minute walk down the beach. Stunning gardens The yard was clean and organized. We had a fridge and coffee machine in our space. We will definitely return to Ramon’s Space at La Ventana. We only live 50 minutes away but after spending NYE there we have decided to make Ramon’s yurt a necessary break from the city We give Ramon a 5 star rating in all categories
