Wow! What an incredible host, location and house. The home was even better than described, everything was spotless with fresh fruit, a welcome basket and more. Margarida kindly greeted me when I arrived late at night and made me feel very welcome, upon arrival it was amazing to be greeted so warmly and to be made to feel at home, the fire was even going so it was nice and warm. Communication was regular and very helpful with support navigating the local area. Margarida went above and beyond what was required to ensure I go to where I needed to be on my trip, dropping me off, picking me up, arranging transport, showing me the local area and more. Words cannot describe how great of a time I had here and it would not have been the same without such an amazing host. I eagerly await my next visit here, Obrigado to my host !

Gostamos muito da casa, ficámos muito confortáveis, muito limpa, muito acolhedora e com todos os equipamentos necessários. Com um quintal com churrasqueira para disfrutar. A Cidlina sempre muito prestável e atenciosa conosco, a D. Estrela que nos recebeu de braços abertos foi muito simpática e muito prestável e que nos ajudou bastante com o que precisámos, e quando chegámos já tínhamos a salamandra acesa com a casa quentinha, as laranjas e umas fatias de ovo que nos ofereceu estavam muito saborosas. A região é bastante bonita e com muitos sítios para visitar. Adoramos e voltaremos sem falta o mais breve possível. Um muito obrigado à Cidalina e à D. Estrela por todo o cuidado que tiveram connosco.

Lovely peaceful house in the mountains of the country side, beautiful weather everyday. 5 of us had such a relaxing holiday, the pool is huge and was great to cool off and early morning swims. Spacious house with big bedrooms, supermarket and town 5 minutes drive away, close to the motorway to go places. We loved the pool down in the Vouga valley, canoeing down the rapids on the Rio Paiva was a fantastic day and a great drive in the mountains. Beaches and Aveiro are lovely and not too far away. Water Park at Amarante is also awesome.

This is a beautifully renovated, spacious stone walled property in the tiny village of Taliscas. Two adults & two teens, we stayed for 10 days in August and it was a total delight. Breakfasting on the balcony as the sun rose on thousands of eucalyptus trees (grown as a crop for paper, all over the serras) was a spectacular way to begin the day. This is central Portugal and for us it was a perfect location- away from the tourist crowds yet within easy reach of Porto and Lisbon. Coimbra with its charming UNESCO university and cathedral is a 25 minute drive and the wild, beautiful and undeveloped Atlantic coast less than an hour away. Local highlights included the Roman ruins at Conímbriga, the pretty villages of Penela and Espinhal and interesting hikes such as one up to a nearby waterfall, cascata da Pedra. Carla was charming, friendly and welcoming and made us all feel at home in her lovely house immediately. We all fell in love with Portugal at Taliscas ❤️ - highly recommend.

This was a really cute and nice place. It was as showed in the pictures, even a pooltable! The house is clean with a cozy fire place we used a lot because it was winter. The garden very beautiful and big. Though the outside area and pool is shared with another place on the same property, which was no problem for us but might should be taken into account. The surroundings are stunning, perfect for some peaceful time in nature.

o espaço é ainda melhor que as fotos, quartos com banheiro no primeiro andar e no segundo andar um espaço único com tudo o que você precisa para se hospedar com a sua família, espero retornar em breve.

Très charmante maison familiale, magnifique jardin, piscine très agréable, supermarchés à proximité. Un grand merci à Mario.

Fiquei por um fim de semana a dois com o objetivo de ficar com vista para as montanhas e irmos conhecer um pouco as redondezas e fomos muito bem recebidos, super prestáveis e atenciosos. Sem ter de pedir foram-nos facultados locais a visitar na redondeza e a simpatia assim como a disponibilidade estiveram sempre presentes por parte de ambos. Casa que corresponde as fotos, o que nem sempre acontece e com um sossego tremendo. Recomendo
