Perfect stay for a wedding. Very clean and comfy. Had everything we needed. Would stay again.

Had a wonderful stay here visiting for dad’s weekend (15 min drive to KU/Mass St. and close to Clinton State Park if you like mountain biking). Beth’s place was comfortable, spacious and away from the hustle and bustle. Sleeping arrangements were great for the 4 of us and we didn’t even use the bedroom with 3 beds. Beds were comfy and house well-appointed. We appreciated the frozen pizza, pringles and popcorn and loved that there was a Keurig combo carafe style/pod machine. For a coffee snob like me, I brought my own coffee. While the guys went to the KU game on Sat., I hiked a couple laps on the property trail in the snow then spent a couple hours strolling thru the shops & galleries on Mass St. at my own pace! Thank you, Beth, for a wonderful stay and for being a responsive and gracious host.

Very cozy house with plenty of space for guests and for hanging out. The location feels private and secluded despite being near a large intersection. Would definitely stay there again.

The house was great for our large group of 10, everyone slept comfortably, and had enough space. The kids and adults loved the property. We ran into one issue with the house that’s not even really worth mentioning because Loretta called a repairman and came up with a solution to the problem immediately. It was a lovely stay. My sisters appreciated being able to park their cars in the garage. I, being 6 months pregnant enjoyed having a downstairs bedroom with a large bathtub.

This Airbnb has to have the most beautiful view in Lawrence. It is so incredibly peaceful, you feel like you are in the middle of Colorado. The space itself is really cool and has everything you need to relax. As the description states you can rent the upper half (which we did) or the whole house. The upper half of the house had plenty of space for my husband and myself, and more to spare if we needed it. Truly a gem, and the hosts were incredibly nice!!!

We had a family wedding and needed a place to stay that was comfortable and accommodating. Our 89-year-old mom hasn’t traveled in many years and we needed to make the experience great for her. Maddelena’s home was perfect. High quality linens. An easy location. We had a wonderful weekend together.

Due to the bad weather, there was no electricity when we arrived and that made it hard to find the place. However, there were candles burning and LaVonna even proposed to get a hotel room for us. Luckily, the electricity came back on later that evening and we could enjoy our stay.

My son and I loved our stay! It was only eight minutes away from Great Wolf Lodge, conveniently, with the convenience of being able to make your own meals! Highly recommend!

We loved our stay at the Black Thistle! Was so perfect for our family to stay in while visit family close by- would absolutely rent again when we come back!

This Cabin was the best place to get away from the city for a weekend. The hosts were very easy to get ahold of and very understanding in some circumstances. They had the friendliest dogs there as well. If you need a good place to relax with a friend, spouse or even by yourself I would say this is the best spot. We will definitely be going back!!

We enjoyed our stay, it was relaxing and the kids loved the hot tub. We look forward to visiting again.

My husband and I were looking for a secluded place to spend our first weekend together away from our 3 year old. The Vassar cabin was secluded and private, and the proximity to the water was exactly what we wanted. The hot tub made it even easier to relax.

This was a great home for our crew to stay in! Thank you so much for all of your hospitality! I recommend this home to anyone!
