Ashish does not only make honor to the “super host” term, he’s also a super human. He is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. I was traveling for a wedding and he even helped me get there on his motorcycle. I also had some issues with the drive back to the airbnb, and ended up calling him really late at night, and he was happy to help. He is just amazing. He is also so knowledgeable about the surroundings, and recommended a hike nearby, which ended up being one of the most beautiful sunset hikes of my life. The place is amazing, just like described in the pictures. I cannot recommend enough this place. Ashish you truly embody the well-known Nepali warmth and hospitality. Thank you so much!

I love this little gem in Kathmandu - Jason and his family make you feel at home every moment. They were helping me with every single detail during my stay. The place itself is even more beautiful than pictures and the little community around makes a super quiet cozy and homy environment I will be definitely back (and very soon) Thanks!

Staying at Sweet Dream Apartment and meeting Raj was a wonderful time. He was so helpful, had great recommendations, and I really wish we could’ve stayed even longer. I would highly recommend staying here and working with Raj for an unforgettable stay in Kathmandu.

I only had a night stay at the hostel but i loved it. I wished i stayed longer, perhaps in the future if i were to visit Kathmandu again. Tisa who attended to us at check in was super accommodating - my friend and i reached KTH early from Pokhara after our 10 days ABC hike, and was thankfully allowed to check in early. Tisa was also very proactive in introducing the neighbourhood and gave us some food recommendations. The room was spacious as described, clean and just enough plugs. OH! just that there are no lifts, but we already knew that ahead of time. I love the place, community and people!

Highly recommend Bijays place. Excellent communication and very quick to respond. Rooms are very big, beds are big as well. Lots of beautiful furniture. Kitchen had everything we needed and rooms are equipped with fans to help with heat. Very close to a market with fresh produce and things to buy. Bijay was an exceptional host and I would gladly recommend anyone interested to stay at his place. There was construction going on infront of the main gate so Bijay met us when we got there and helped explain how to get into the house. Overall a wonderful experience.

I had a wonderful stay at The White House Villa. The location is beautiful and peaceful. The pool was clean, and Prasesh and the staff were friendly and helpful. I highly recommended The White House Villa for anyone who are looking for a serene and comfortable stay in Kathmandu.

Tahaja is a serene homestead that feels like a true refuge — simple, soulful, and steeped in meaning. What makes it truly special is its connection to Niels Gutschow and Bijay Basukala, whose life’s work documenting Newari architecture and rituals gives the space a quiet depth and tremendous dignity. The highlight of my stay was an architectural walk through Bhaktapur with Bibek Basukala — Bijay’s son — whose insights as a trainee architect brought the city alive in such a personal and inspiring way. Back at Tahaja, the peace and quiet were matched by the warmth of a wonderful homecooked dinner and breakfast — nourishing in every sense. Lena, the host, was wonderfully clear and responsive, and Mohan, the caretaker, made sure everything ran smoothly. A rare and beautiful stay.

The stay was amazing. My family was utmost comfortable and was really appreciating it the whole time. The maintenance was well kept and the service was amazing. Anamika’s apartment was very welcoming and very clean . I loved the cozy details the apartment had. I had a lovely time enjoying my breakfast at the garden outside sun-basking at morning time. There is ample space for parking which helped me locate my car safely . A/c , Private Washing-machine, hair dryer, toaster and many other amenities were deal to crack at the price she offered for me. The bed was super tidy and super comfy, i had a good sleep. Must-say , my overall experience was definitely worth it, anamika was very humble and attentive host. She catered to ask about any requirements i had that would assist my good stay experience. She helped around with locating grocery stores, sim cards, indrives etc. i had a delightful stay. Definitely coming back here again, when m back to Nepal 🇳🇵.
