Our group of 9 adults and 4 children, ages 4 and under, had a wonderful time at this spacious home. There were so many spaces to be, inside and out. We used the pontoon, played badminton in one part of the lawn and brought a cornhole game for another part. The kids loved the playground and small rock area underneath... actually less messy than sand. Carolyn told us about another huge playground about a 10-minute drive away that me & my husband went to look at and it was awesome! For all ages of kids and a huge beautiful beach and a walking/scooter? path and bathrooms right there too. And a ping-pong table! So much to do! Had a fire at night, looking out at lake. Beautiful sunset. We brought a fishing boat and they were able to catch bass, northern, and nice sunnies. Nice big lake with beautiful houses to look at on a ride around it on the pontoon. Couldn't have asked for any more! Highly recommend!

This rustic cabin is in a beautiful, private area with amazing lake views from both decks. We really enjoyed the serene location and the large living room to have family over. James was a responsive and kind host, would definitely stay again. Highly recommend!

Such a sweet home on the lake. Perfect getaway for our family. We hope to be back in the summer months! Highly recommend for a scenic quiet spot to stay and enjoy the outdoors.

We had a fantastic stay! The host was excellent—communication was speedy, and the entire experience was hassle-free. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. The home had incredible views of the lake and plenty of room for our family of six. The lower level was perfect for the kids, and they loved the huge selection of board games in the basement! Since we visited during the colder months, we didn’t get to experience how truly amazing this place must be in the spring, summer, and fall—but that just gives us a reason to come back. The location was convenient with easy access to and from the interstate. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some, making meals effortless. Overall, a short but excellent experience. Highly recommend!

My family and I truly enjoyed our trip to Scott's property. The house fit our big crew quite well. The beds were very comfortable. The kids loved the fun spaces in the house. The location was beautiful and peaceful. While there is a lot of vegetation along the lakeshore, there is a decent beach, and some shallow water that the smallest kids were able to enjoy. For the bigger kids, we brought the lily pad out to the middle of the lake, and they had a blast with that. The outdoor living space was great! Scott was friendly, helpful, responsive.

The home was clean, open, and beautiful--just like the photos. We had a group of 8 adults and kids between ages of 3 and 13, and there was plenty of space for us all without feeling too busy/overly crowded. The location was quiet and peaceful; it was cold and foggy the weekend we went but we were able to take the kiddos outdoors and onto the frozen lake for a bit. It was a nice little getaway staying indoors with the fireplace, baking, and playing board games. I bet during the warmer months there would be plenty to do outdoors. Carly was quick to respond to my questions. I would highly recommend.

Super enjoyable stay and one of my favorites!!! Couldn't ask for anything more. Nicest people and place you could hope for. Being on the lake is such a added bonus, would stay here everytime!

We enjoyed everything about our stay at The Lookout! What a beautiful home, with even better views. We had a group of 9 family and friends that spent a long weekend here. The Airbnb was well equipped with everything we needed. We especially loved the audio system throughout the home and the plentiful common space to hangout in. Tammy and Ben was extremely responsive and made our stay special with a customized welcome basket when we arrived. Ben checked on us a couple of times to make sure the hot tub was well balanced which was super nice! He even cleaned off our cars after it snowed one morning. Their hospitality was unmatched! We will definitely be back!
