This space was beautiful and peaceful. I felt like I was sitting in a place where artist and writers and storytellers had gathered. The house was so comfortable and inviting. Back Yard Bistro in Pipes Creek had the best chicken fried steaks I've ever tried. The hill behind the home was an excellent adventure for my family. The yard was perfect and sitting in the hot tub with the views was magical. 10 out of 10 on everything. I want to come to this place again.

We booked this place for my boyfriends birthday and it was everything we needed. The views alone were what made the entire stay. We relaxed, disconnected, and enjoyed literally just the peacefulness of the place. It was just enough for what we needed, close enough to go check out the cute towns nearby. Bring a small heater if you get cold easily and easy food/snacks. We even booked an extra night because we didn’t want to leave. The hosts were great and even went as far as making a birthday basket for when we arrived. Highly recommend ❤️

The cabin was adorable! Although small, it was perfect for 2 people and the use of the space was very well thought out. It had everything we needed and the host even left us a bottle of wine. We didn’t want to stay in town, wanted that “country” feel and that’s what we got. There were cows and chickens on the property and a super friendly orange cat that we hung out with on the porch. We were about 10-15 mins from Main Street. It was quiet and felt private, although there are 2 other houses on the property, one to each side of the cabin. You don’t see stars like this in the city, the view of them from the hot tub was amazing. I would recommend checking the hot tub temp a few hours before you plan to get in, it took quite a while to cool down. The place was very clean and well kept up. We would definitely book again.

House was adorable, clean and perfect for our quick trip to Fredericksburg. The extra details from the coffee options to the bathroom amenities were a nice extra touch.

Tamra and her husband Tony were amazing. They were helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Not only are they amazing host but they’re the best kind of people.

My friends and I had an amazing stay at this cabin, and I can't recommend it enough for anyone seeking a peaceful retreat in nature. A highlight of our trip was definitely the hot tub, it was the perfect way to unwind and enjoy the serene surroundings.

We loved the place super cozy. Nice and clean as described in pictures. Hot tub was working. Feel like home. Loved Sammy the rooster reminds me back home with my family. Recommended 100% host super fast response. Easy instructions to get in. 10 minutes away from Main Street and 9 minutes from Walmart in case need something. Definitely will go back again.

Wonderful experience. Perfect peaceful place for a gettaway! Kelli was awesome and so responsive. A storm came through and we lost power for a bit during the stay (which obviously was out of their control), and they even drove out to check on us and keep us updated about the electricity being restored! Couldn't have asked for a better stay! Thank you!!!

Had a great time staying with Randy and Michelle! They provided helpful and thorough instructions and the place was the perfect getaway for 2! It was in a quiet and peaceful location that offered the privacy we were looking for while still being in a great location to visit Fredericksburg!

Cozy cabin. Worked just fine for our family. Very reasonably priced for the area. Host even set us up with the coffee and creamer we preferred! Excellent communication with the host.

Liked it so well last year, we stayed this year. Some maintenance issues found but communicated them and should be resolved by the next person’s stay.

Nice and peaceful place to get away. Took morning walks at the river with our dogs and they enjoyed it just as much.

Kelly Jo is very friendly and helpful. She made sure our stay was great. This is a nice place to camp with cute rustic cabins and a “cowboy” pool at each cabin that is very nice to sit in and relax on hot summer evenings with a cold beverage. Overall, it was a great place to stay. The cabins are neat and tidy, the beds and pillows are comfortable.

Linda's cabin near the river was a perfect getaway spot! The cozy atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made our stay truly memorable. The proximity to the river allowed us to enjoy nature and relax. Overall, a fantastic experience that we would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat.

I enjoyed my stay in cabin A. This accommodation provided a truly memorable experience. The space was impeccably clean and thoughtfully decorated, creating a welcoming atmosphere. Every amenity we needed was readily available, enhancing our comfort and convenience. The location was away from the town which was nice and peaceful. We highly recommend this wonderful place to fellow travelers seeking a delightful stay.

Litzy was extremely flexible and responsive to all my questions and requests. I asked for flowers and candy to be waiting and she fulfilled my personal request in grand fashion. Litzy allowed us to check in early and leave late which made our stay easy going. The space is generous for a couples getaway and having a firepit to light up was a perfect way to end the night. I only wish our G unit had it's own firepit in the front. We certainly will be returning on our next adventure to Fredericksburg.

My wife and I had a lovely stay in their peaceful cabin. It is a perfect getaway for a relaxing trip to Fredericksburg. It was nice being away from town (but close enough) so that we could enjoy the hill country. Nancy and Charles are great hosts!

This humble cabin was everything we needed for a weekend getaway in the hill country. We enjoyed star gazing, having a little fire, and unplugging. Plus it was close to Garner & Lost Maples, which are great for hiking. I’d definitely be back again!

A great getaway cabin. A great place to stay if you are planning to visit Fredericksburg or just want a weekend surrounded by nature.
