Have stayed here before and the place is nice and quiet and close to the downtown area with lots to do. The place is always clean and it has a nice ambient neighborhood.

Really awesome place. The listing is great and feels like home. Taft is a nice quiet place to be at. Food in the area was good and the stores have anything you’ll need. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking in the area but is unsure.

Fantastic backyard and patio for our dogs and people. Location was safe and peaceful with convient to stores and Fairgrounds as attending a Dog Show. Only negative would be need a few more prep bowls in kitchen if you cook alot. Overall WONDERFUL experience and Pedro was very responsive host who helped make our stay great. Definitely will stay there again when in Bakersfield.

This home was magnificent. Everything about it was enjoyable. Daniel was an excellent host and was very communicative.

So, our house went up in flames, and we had to scramble for emergency shelter. We booked this place the same day, and within minutes, Niki reached out. There were a few other co-hosts for this property, and they were all fantastic and helpful. They let us check in early and even brought us some blankets and a bed for our furry friends. We’re still reeling from everything that happened with our home, but these hosts were nothing short of amazing. They made us feel so welcome, and the house was so clean and comfortable for our family. We were a family of eight with a six-month-old baby, but the house was more than enough for us. We truly appreciate the hospitality and kindness from these hosts. They’re nothing short of incredible.

Wonderful home and host! This was the perfect place for us to stay during a family visit. It had everything we needed and the kitchen was perfect for all the food prep we needed to do for our grandmother's 90th birthday party (held at another location.) Elizabeth was very communicative and did a great job setting up the home with everything you might need during your stay. We will absolutely be staying here again when we visit family in the area.

It was a great place for a quiet retreat from the city and daily visits to the Orthodox monastery nearby.

This was probably the best Airbnb that my girlfriend and I have stayed at. The cabin is very nice and we loved these four things: 1) The living room: Big flat screen TV and a super comfy couch 2) The kitchen: Had everything that we needed to cook delicious meals 3) The views: The two decks give you excellent views of the mountains during the day and the starry sky at night. 4) Privacy: You get the entire cabin to yourself and the only noises you ever hear are the critters that call PMC home. It’s so peaceful. However, I would make the following advisories to anyone who wants to book this Airbnb: 1) Sleeps 2 people easily, but 6 is definitely a stretch. Unless people are okay with sharing rooms and sleeping on futons, I wouldn’t book this place for 6 people. 2) The dishwasher was broken and there was no out of order sticker on it. 3) I’d suggest bringing groceries from out of town. The general store doesn’t have much and the restaurants in town have sporadic availability.

My friends and I loved this air bnb. Rosa was super responsive and very helpful when the app was giving me a hard time to book her place. The place was amazing and super peaceful. It even snowed while we were there!! Would totally recommend booking it’s worth it. Place was completely clean when arriving and check in and check out was super simple. Instructions and rules posted everywhere to make us all aware.

Toni’s cabin is a wonderful place to relax and enjoy PMC. Quiet location, great deck and right next to the snowflake trail. Toni has great information on all the hikes and places to see in the area and is easy to communicate with. Always our favorite place to stay.

We had a great stay at the house. It was clean and was even better than represented. A large fenced in backyard was surprise that allowed our dog to run free. I highly recommend!

This place has beautiful views and it’s very tastefully decorated. My favorite view was from the bedroom. I loved this cabin. although there’s cabins nearby It’s very quiet and peaceful. The deck needs a little TLC but other than that I definitely would recommend for anyone who wants to stay in a beautiful place with nice views. Just keep in mind that if you do have a pet there is a pet fee in addition to the cleaning fee.

A beautiful house in lovely surroundings. It was a great meeting place for our family who were attending my father-in-law's memorial service. Lots of space . It was nice having so many condiments for our cooking. And we used an air fryer for the first time. It was cold outside so the extra blankets came in handy. I just wish I had more time to enjoy the lovely pool and hot tub! All of the guests said they want to come back again! Erin was extremely responsive to any of our questions.

Kierah’s place was very cute and was exactly as advertised. We stayed because we were racing Leona Divide trail races and it was the perfect location conveniently located to the start/finish. If you’re in the area to hike or run it would be perfect as well. The host was responsive and friendly. The local trails are beautiful. We would stay again.

Great place to stay! I would recommend it to anyone. The place is spacious with tons of amenities in a nice neighborhood.

First off would love to say how clean the house was , everything we needed to have a comfortable stay was offered . Kitchens untensils were offered to our tasting . Communication was great . I would totally stay again if available if I’m to come to Bakersfield again

I needed a clean place in a quiet neighbourhood with a yard for my dog while I was working in the area. Peter was extremely helpful in showing me the places he had available and this place was exactly what I needed.

Sandie’s place was great! We had a big group and there was plenty of room for all of us. Sandie was very responsive and took care of any questions/needs we had. We would definitely stay here again!

Super convenient! I just stayed here with our 2 dogs and loved it! It’s a decent sized place, got 3 bedrooms and lots of room for everyone. They’ve got everything you need right there, felt just like home. Loved the snacks and wine and flowers left as a welcome after a long day of travel! The house has its own driveway so parking was easy, right in front of our door. The hosts stay upstairs and are super nice. Melissa helped me out with tips about what to do around the area. There’s a big yard too, fenced in, so good for dogs or just hanging out. The neighborhood is actually off the beaten path, so not a lot of traffic other than folks who live there. You do hear the highway cause it's right there, but it’s not too bad. It makes it super easy to get around to Carpinteria, Santa Barbara, and other spots quick.
