great place. well kept and maintained. very comfortable nice house for my family.

We really enjoyed this apartment! Everything was neat, clean and according to expectations. Lana was easy to communicate with and helpful (we forgot a mobile charger and she promised to send it to us via post). Big bonus was all the outdoor games, beach tennis etc. that was available, our kids loved playing with them on the big public grass area just next door :-)

From starting the booking Natalie responded really quickly to any queries I had, the place was perfect for what we needed and in an amazing location. Everything we needed was in the apartment for a really comfortable homely stay, I would certainly return to this rental on my next visit if it’s available

Joyces' house was well presented and accurate to the descriptions. As a host Joyce was extremely responsive at all times of day or night and always willing to answer questions or receive queries. My friends and I had a superb time in this gorgeous and well appointed home and will definitely be staying here in the future. Thanks Joyce!

House was fantastic, thank you, one bit of feedback in regards to the house would be to put some sort of curtins or blinds on the kids room balcony door, the net curtin that is currently on there does nothing to stop the morning sun shining in at 4.30/5am and waking the kids. Other than that the house was lovely thank you. In regards to the location, I dont know if its the norm this time of year but the local beach is currently unuseable due to blue bottle jellyfish being everywhere, in the water and thousands of them washed up on the entire stretch of beach, making walking on the beach or swimming impossible with kids.

This house was everything it purported to be and more. It was truly exceptional. It is hugely spacious and exactly as described in the listing. Spotlessly clean with every conceivable amenity that you might want to make a perfect stay, right down to bikes and kayaks, it made for the perfect getaway for our annual family weekend away together. The house is well designed, homely and extremely comfortable. With 8 in the house, everyone still had plenty of space to themselves, and the common areas gave us all the opportunity to connect. Touches like split motorised beds, TVs in all the bedrooms as well as the main common areas and great electronics and appliances everywhere - it was this that made this house so special. The house is very close to the central shops in Lancelin and equally close to the beaches. Maryanna was the perfect house, very responsive and provided all the information we needed to make this a superb weekend. Could not recommend Things of Stone and Wood more highly.

Absolutely lovely home, walking distance to the beach, playground/skatepark and local shops. Perfect for a quiet weekend away with the family.

We loved our stay at the Blue Shack & will definitely be coming back! Very spacious and walking distance to the beach/general store. Huge DVD selection which was a nice surprise too!

Great little cottage close to the beach. It had most of the amenities needed for a lovely weekend away. The house was clean (but ants are present - so be aware), the beds were comfy, and the front porch area was fantastic for our girls catchup, wines, music and chats!

We had a fantastic stay at this house, which offered a wide range of games and activities that kept our kids thoroughly entertained. The only minor drawbacks were the beds, which were a bit too soft, and the pillows, which were slightly too high. If you're particularly fussy about your bedding, you may want to consider bringing your own pillows. Additionally, we recommend bringing extra dishwashing tablets and toilet rolls, especially for larger groups like ours (we were a party of ten and found the supplied amounts to be insufficient.
