Everything was wonderful! So peaceful, clean, and comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and safe feeling. I personally loved that it wasn’t over cluttered with decorations! Plenty of room to put your stuff down and get to your vacation. Felt right at home!

Fabulous house! Very clean and private. Great location and convenient location to the highway. Great fenced in bars for your dog. We highly recommend. I would not recommend Thanksgiving weekend. As it is impossible to enjoy the area with all the festivities. We were unable to keep dinner reservations due to all the activities. There is no warning letting you know about the festivities from the town ahead of time. Due to the location near the highway, we enjoyed the neighboring towns.

I appreciated all the snacks and drinks that were included. Bathroom was stocked with everything you'd need and there was detergent for the washer too

It's hard to find Airbnbs that can accommodate several people in central CT. Luckily, Caroline's listing came to the rescue! Good location in a quiet Manchester suburb, close to Main Street. Nice Ikea dishware, spacious fridge. Parking (no garage), was ample. The upstairs area has low ceilings, but the beds were fine. The main living room area was cozy and full of CT-related board games and books, and several candles. The dining table gets the job done, though we threw some pillows on the dining chairs to maximize comfort. Also, the listing clearly states this, but keep in mind that there is only one bathroom. Caroline was a great communicator. All questions were promptly answered. She also extended a complementary extended checkout, which came in handy.

We had such a wonderful stay here over New Years. Like many other reviews have stated, pictures do not do this home justice. It’s so much larger and more spread out than we expected. Perfect layout for two couples where we each felt like we had our own place, with plenty of cozy spaces to hang out too. The kitchen is SO well equipped for anything and everything. Beds and sofas were super comfortable and the we loved all of the charming touches of this historical home. The location is fantastic too. Walking distance to everything you could need and a quick drive to so many beautiful areas. I can imagine spending hours in the backyard when the weather is warmer too!

Bill’s place was exactly what we were looking for and needed as a brief escape from NYC for both the humans and pups among us! The fully fenced in backyard was the perfect safe space for the dogs to roam and play, and the house was cozy and comfortable in a quiet neighborhood. We couldn’t have asked for more!

We had a beautiful two weeks at Melissa’s family home! Beautiful, peaceful “million dollar views” of Ninigret Pond from the deck, kitchen, living and dining rooms and master bedroom. Plenty of privacy, with five bedrooms and four baths in three separate areas. (I got lost for the first few days). The house has a lot of character, not just standard issue Airbnb -- “eclectic antique” decor, books, artwork, and family history memorabilia. The brand new kitchen opens right onto the deck, and is spacious, fully equipped and a pleasure to cook and spend time in. The baths are modern (some updated since the pictures?). The deck has lots of comfortable seating, including a couch and armchair set and another table and chair set. It's a quick drive to the town beach or the state beach at Charlestown Breachway. The Wifi worked great, and the beds were very comfortable. Melissa was a great host, she responded super promptly to my texts, and accommodated us with a late checkout.

Amazing Time in this house. Pictures don't do justice because the place is great with beautiful views. Paul was accommodating and very helpful. This has been my favorite place.

This day was exactly what me and my little family needed for my birthday weekend. It was private it was peaceful. The host was very responsive and accommodating to all needs and very understanding. We definitely will be booking again. Can’t wait till next time.!

The house was in perfect area. Got to see deer, turkey and rabbits while sitting around pristine backyard and pool area. House was directly across from ferry system to Connecticut and adjacent town was perfect for restaurants and walking around. Would highly recommend this as a destination location and house. Look forward to returning

My stay here was phenomenal! From the host’s response time, down to the amenities that were placed throughout the house. As soon as you walk in, it felt like home. The house is spacious and highly functional. The design of the house offers a perfect blend of modern mixed with nostalgic elements. The best stay by far. Would love to book again!

One of the best I have ever been at. Like home

Katie’s home was beautiful, immaculately kept and exactly as photographed and described. We rented the home for a family reunion and needed all 8 of the bedrooms that were available. Even though we were a very large group with many kids ages 10 and under, we never felt uncomfortable or on top of each other. The two living rooms and outdoor space made it so that we all could spread out but still spend time together. The large dining room table fit our family perfectly! Katie was responsive, thoughtful and so very kind! We are looking forward to our next stay at Katie’s beautiful home!

Carlos is a friendly and responsive host. Our family enjoyed everything about his place and we felt right at home. All 6 of us were very comfortable in this spacious and well appointed home in a nice neighborhood close to everything in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at this cottage- it was a perfect size for our family and was extremely clean, warm and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the quick walk to the beach, and proximity to town. Hosts were very friendly and responsive but never intrusive. Would highly recommend.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience renting Heather and Bill’s beautiful home in Mystic, Connecticut. From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. The house is spacious, impeccably clean, and offers an incredible amount of natural light. The rooms are tastefully decorated and perfectly designed for comfort, making it feel like a true home away from home. The kitchen is fully stocked with essentials; making it easy to prepare meals. The living areas are cozy and inviting, with plenty of space for everyone to gather and relax. Although in April it was cold, we also enjoyed the outdoor patio area and the large backyard offered a great space. Location-wise, you can’t beat it! It’s just a short drive to downtown Mystic, where we explored the charming shops, restaurants, and waterfront. We also loved being close to Mystic Seaport and Mystic Aquarium. The hosts were incredibly responsive and made sure we had everything we needed! We highly recommend this home!

Linda was an incredible host, she was so helpful, had great recommendations and was happy to help. Her place was clean, easy to access and felt very safe. We loved our time at Linda’s place and feel it’s the best space we’ve rented. We can’t wait to go back!

We knew we weren't going to be on the beach but we wanted to be near the beaches and we were. The cottage was a little Gem in a secluded area off a main road with a private neighborhood behind. The landscaping was so adorable with Adirondack chairs and a fire pit w/ outdoor bbq & seating area. It was cutely decorated with a newer kitchen & ALL the things needed for your stay! The loft bedroom was so cool & games in the L.R.! Our family had a wonderful gathering and fun stay. The beaches were beautiful and we got to bring our dog, Freedom along for the fun! We'd stay here again!

We stayed in Cathy's house for two nights. The house is quite a bit larger than I thought it was! It was very clean and the beds were really comfortable. It's in a nice location and the house itself is very pretty and nicely decorated. You can't actually get to the water from here, but you can smell the salty air, and you can walk to the end of the road and look out over the cove. The house is located on a dead end street and, even though there are houses all around, there is no through traffic so it was surprisingly quiet. I'm not sure if that changes in the summertime. Cathy was very communicative and friendly and check in was so simple. The house is about five minutes from Mystic Seaport, which is great. And about 25 minutes from the Ledyard/Gales Ferry area, which is where we needed to be, so it was perfect for us. It's also a very dog friendly home, with a crate and a basket full of dog toys, along with a small, but good, backyard. I would definitely stay here again!

Michael was very responsive. The house was cute and cozy with the fireplace. The primary bedroom had the most amazing view. Beach is glorious. Was perfect for a one night stay with friends. We are looking forward to booking again.

As always, we love our stay at the cottage. It’s becoming our home away from home when visiting our son. Thanks for all our goodies! Always a great surprise! Have a wonderful Christmas. We’ll see you next year I hope.

Our second year using Mark's home, it has a very private setting off the main road with plenty of yard space and woods to explore. Our large dog loved the property, we went for a long exploration of the property each morning and night. Mark was able to help us on our last day with a special request with no hesitation. His animals on the property are awesome. It was nice to see his two friendly dogs who greet you whenever they are outside! Thanks for the great week, looking forward to our next trip to the area.
