Had an amazing stay! The space was exactly as described—clean, cozy, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly responsive and thoughtful ensuring we felt right at home. The location was peaceful and there’s a fantastic barbecue restaurant nearby. Would definitely stay here again!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb that truly exceeded my expectations. The location was absolutely fantastic, making it easy to explore the area and enjoy all the local attractions. The amenities provided were plentiful and made my stay even more enjoyable. From a fully equipped kitchen to comfortable bedding, it felt like a home away from home. The surroundings were simply beautiful. The property was nestled in a picturesque area, with stunning views and plenty of nature to appreciate. It was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway, and I loved spending time outdoors. Overall, I highly recommend this Airbnb for anyone looking for a wonderful stay in a great location with all the comforts of home.

This is a lovely cabin. Everything is exactly as pictured. Beautiful and clean. The communication with the host was excellent. We wish the location was a bit more private. The cabin is up on a ridge top nested among several other cabins and car camping sites.

I booked this as a solo getaway, and it was exactly what I was looking for! The guidebook had all the information needed to make it a great stay. You can tell there’s a really high attention to detail. Some of my favorite details and amenities included: blankets designated for use by the fire, outdoor stools are the perfect height to use as side tables for the hot tub, eye masks by the bed for total relaxation, accessories and kitchen tools that fit the eclectic Scandinavian vibe perfectly. I really loved the coziness of the sleeping loft as well and had some lovely movie nights. The deck is also large enough that I was able to fit in some morning yoga before heading out to hike at Natural Bridge. I loved the recommendations from the hosts of local attractions and food as well. I ended up dining at Miguel’s Pizza, La Cabana Mexican, and Daniel Boone’s coffee shop, and they were all great! I can’t recommend this cabin enough and will absolutely be returning!

We come to the Red annually to climb and this was one of the best BnBs we’ve stayed in. We really appreciated how spotless the space was and it was exactly as described! The cabin is conveniently located off of the main road but keeps very quiet. It was perfectly equipped and since we were staying for a week we appreciated ready access to cleaning supplies, dishwasher and laundry detergents. We would definitely stay again!

This is our third year in a row staying at "Bill's Place" and, as usual, it never disappoints! Feels like our home away from home!

Overall, this cabin was a great getaway! Very private and relaxing. The built in hiking trails on site were such a great perk! Hot tub was well maintained and the views were incredible. Our only complaint was it wasn’t as clean as we’d hoped. The sheets on both beds were either not entirely clean (found hair on one bed) or just needed to be replaced (stains, pilling etc.) Many of dishes weren’t entirely clean when we arrived either.

Beautiful surroundings and the cabin made for a restful getaway weekend. Pet friendly was a huge bonus. The driveway is steep gravel which wasn’t a problem with 4 wheel drive but we had some crazy rainy weather and might be something to note in the directions so guest know what to expect. The place was spotless, had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, linens, and furniture! I would recommend this place to my friends planning a trip to the gorge!

This was our second stay at this cabin and there’s a reason we plan on returning again in the future! For whatever reason, we’re able to walk through those doors and completely unwind in a way we’ve not experienced at other cabins in the gorge, and we’ve been to many! When total relaxation and escape from stress is what we need, THIS is where we go! Not to mention the attention to detail and hospitality of the host is unmatched.

Cute cabin nestled just over five miles off of the “main road” where the restaurants are located. Clean cabin with a fully stocked kitchen of utensils, pots etc. The bathroom is very nice with soft towels and good water pressure. Remember to bring your own shampoo and conditioner. There is no TV which was fine for us, but is something to note. WiFi worked great for my phone and computer to watch a TV show. The setting is peaceful. There were, however, cabins down the road and across the ridge who all had side-by-side off roading vehicles that were loud and echoed through the woods when they drove down the road as late as 11pm. That took away from the serenity aspect. I imagine with leaves on the trees their sound will be muffled. The deck is lovely and the stars are amazingly bright. Walk up the driveway and look back at the cabin to see an even wider view! The fire pit and picnic table will be fun to use when it’s warmer.

Kenny is one of the VERY BEST hosts I've had the pleasure of communicating with. He was extremely responsive + incredibly proactive. Lonesome Dove is the most spectacular place I've stayed in the RRG. The only real negative is being able to get there. Kenny gave us wonderfully detailed directions (we still got lost on a few turns) and to absolutely no fault of his, the roads are just treacherous. I have a newer AWD SUV and I made it but there were many times I truly thought I was going to get hung up (no cell service to call a tow truck) BUT I came out unscathed. A utility 4WD is my opinion, totally necessary. Once you arrive you are met by the darling cabin and the breathtaking views - a haven like none other. All -in-all this is a gem of a dwelling in every way!

We had a fantastic stay at this secluded cabin! It was cozy and comfortable, especially with the fireplace, and provided the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle. The location was great—just a 30-minute drive to everything the Gorge has to offer! We loved fishing at the pond during the day and ending each night by the fire. The cabin was well-stocked with everything we needed, making our stay even more enjoyable. We’d definitely stay here again!

This is a great place if you are a climber looking to avoid camping. 20 mins to Miguel’s and PMRP. Out of the rain and heat or cold. This is bunk beds so check if your roommates snore. :) The hosts are really kind. We tried to clean up after ourselves but noticed the effort they put in each day while we were away. Having access to a kitchen, full bathrooms and rec room after dark on climbing days was really awesome. The rooms have an outlet with extension cord. The price was amazing and did not change based on adding guests. The cabins can be musty so if you are sensitive to that, be aware.

It was the perfect romantic getaway for us and a great space to stay with our dogs. There was a nice little area to have the dogs relieve themselves. The hot tub was great and clean. The entire cabin was cozy and it had great WiFi service. The tv also got tons of channels, which is something most cabins don’t have. We would absolutely stay here again. It was cozy, but plenty of space for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen was clean and so nice to use.

Best place we have stayed at, beautiful surroundings, quiet right on the river, we even extended our stay another night. 4 wheel drive is a must have. You will see us again Larry thank you!!

We came down to visit Hollerwood park, very close location to the park on a quiet private road. Andrew was very responsive and flexible on check in. The house was well stocked and had plenty of room to host us. I would suggest parking tow rigs and trailers at the park though if you have a long trailer. It was a little tight up there but plenty of room to turn around in the yard, but during our stay the yard was very soggy due to rain so we had to back all the way out to avoid further damage to the yard. Overall it was a great stay! We will be back!

Cabin was really cool. Everything we needed. Definitely in the middle of the woods.

We had the most amazing time! From fishing on the dock, to walking the property, to relaxing in the hot tub. This weekend was exactly what we needed to celebrate our 25th anniversary. We never had to leave the property. Janice was quick to respond to questions and just an overall great host. I can’t wait to go back!

We just got back from an amazing spring break trip with multiple families and the house was perfectly located for our adventures - especially the zip line that some of us did while others watched from our back deck! The pool house was a much-used kids’ space as was the lower level so that cut down on noise a bit with so many kids. We had plenty of seating and space. The hot tub afforded much-needed relaxation at the end of a busy day. We loved the privacy of the home as well. While in a resort, it didn’t feel like it at all. Any questions or issues we had were addressed immediately. Very responsive host! The bedrooms are very spacious! The one with four beds is in an area that opens over the living room area, which may have been stated in the description and we just missed it. There is lots of room for mattresses to be moved around as needed, though (downstairs, one of the bedrooms, etc.) Thank you for an amazing stay!

Larry was extremely kind and accommodating to our group for our rock climbing trip. Everything was as described and there were even extras thrown such as free firewood, marshmallow skewers and plenty of chairs. We will definitely be staying here again next time we come down to the Red River Gorge and would highly recommend Larry's cabins to anyone considering a trip to the area. Thank you again for providing the accomodations to make our trip memorable.

This is our third time staying with H&P Cabins - amazing as always! Larry hosts the best cabins near the Gorge. Looking forward to coming back in the future.
