Our group stay at was amazing! The place was very clean, had all necessary utensils and more in the kitchen, and the place looked amazing. Sean was very proactive with making sure our stay was perfect, going to the lengths of getting a snow plow and sander over so that all of our vehicles could make it to the driveway. Furthermore, the cottage had an amazing view and sunrise, where you can see the sunrise either sitting in the warmth of the basement or by the fire & hot tub. The group went over to Mont Ste Marie for a ski-ing day and had an amazing weekend!

Our cabin was so beautiful, incredibly clean and really well located. 10 minutes from the local town and 5 minutes from The Ivy Lea (great restaurant). We had access to the water to sit and watch the sunset, as well as access to the docks for our boat. The bay is private and beautiful. The cabins are close together and would be great for multiple family members to rent together.

We had a fantastic weekend getaway at this lovely cottage. Strongly recommend visiting in the spring, perfect season for the hot tub and nice and quiet since it’s a tourist off season.

Havre de paix, exactement ce dont nous avions besoin pour notre rencontre d'équipe. La cuisine était bien équipée pour cuisiner tous nos repas. L'entrée et l'accès au spa étaient bien déneigés malgré une accumulation de neige marquée quales jours avant notre arrivée.

This was our second time staying in the past 3 months and will likely book again in the Spring. If you are looking for a relaxing escape regardless of the season but don’t want to be too far from fabulous restaurants and boutiques. This is the place! Great for families but PERFECT for girls weekend away. My besties and I loved it so much we didn’t want to leave.

We had a great family week away at David’s place and as a host he was super helpful. The view from the window/hot-tub/deck was fantastic, shame we could not bring it home with us! The weather was not great for the week, meaning limited time on the lake. We did manage a day on a hired boat, the other days we went on day trips to local towns and Ottawa by train from Brockville. We also did a city cruise of 1000 islands and attended the annual 1000 islands rib fest. The house was well equipped with all we needed for a great family stay and a relaxing week. For a BBQ recommend a trip to “The Butcher Shop”.

This was our second time out this year. Ellie made sure we had everything we needed, the instructions are very clear, the place is private. The house itself is open concert and very bright, the view is amazing. You wake up to deer or turkey daily. I wish we could stay longer

This is a beautiful place to stay by the riverb! feels so private and rustic, everything well taken care of, perfect private getaway. Ewa is an AMAZING person. Communicated very clearly, was helpful, and even went out of her way to help us with a car problem. we loved everything about the place and this beautiful island. amazing!

Had a wonderful stay with our pet at Pineview Cottage. Valarie is a very friendly host who greeted us on arrival. Very clear instructions for check-in details of the cottage was sent in advance - cottage matched the pics. She also had some useful tips for us about sites in the area. Chaffey's Lock is beautiful & peaceful place and we had a very comfortable stay at Valarie's. Will certainly stay at her cottage again if we are in the area.

A fantastic cottage in a beautiful, private location. The place has everything you need. It also offers a chance to get away and unwind — with plenty of space for friends and family to join. Westport is just down the road and worth a visit, especially the brewery. Yvonne is also a conscientious and responsive host, so you’ll be in good hands. Great host, great stay!

Lovely cottage on lake Mississipi that was perfect for 4 people and our puppies. Wonderful communication and easy check in and out process. Good distance from Carleton which has access to all you need. cozy stay.

Nikki’s place is definitely a five star plus. The house is large, open concept, comfortable, and had everything we desired. The master bedroom has a queen bed and patio doors leading out to the deck. We loved the walk-in rain shower in the ensuite and the laundry room off the master bedroom. The kitchen’s island was perfect for our morning coffee and the formal dining room for our dinner. It was wonderful to sit on the leather couches and watch the sun rise. We enjoyed our walks around the property and to the conservation area.

Heronview Cottage is such a quaint and quiet place to stay and relax in the comfort of a cozy house with a fireplace, away from the hustle and bustle of the big city. Cam and Karley are wonderful hosts who made the trip so easy and had the place set up exactly as you’d want it! Everything is nicely kept, modern, clean and comfy. Perth is a quick drive and there is lots of shops and restaurants to enjoy. Cam and Karley had the place nicely stocked with supplies and tea/coffee which was greatly appreciated. The place is very cute with ample room to relax, cook, watch TV and play board games all in the presence of a lovely wood stove for enjoying a fire. There is plenty of space for the dog to run around and explore a little too! Thanks to Cam and Karley, we look forward to coming back soon to Heronview!

We had a lovely stay and will definitely be back! We did have an issue with water access during our stay due to frozen pipes, but the hosts were very responsive and it was outside of their control. The cabin is cute and cozy with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Beautiful property which was fun to explore even in the winter. Did I mention the view of the stars at night?! Absolutely stunning. We will definitely be back.

The space was very clean, from the kitchen to the windows, and the beds were very comfortable! Check-in and check-out were very easy and the location is excellent. We went in winter, and it was a delightful weekend. I believe in summer it would be even more fun! I recommend it and hope to return when winter passes! :)

We just loved Hanna’s place! The cottage was exactly as pictured. The kids loved the standup paddle boards and the grandkids loved swimming in the crystal clear water off the dock - yes - in September! We even caught a fair sized bass - right off the dock. We spent a lot of time kayaking the lovely and serene lake. Thanks Hanna for the great experience and the very thoughtful touches everywhere. You have thought of everything 😀. The screened in porch was magical and we enjoyed eating there. We will definitely be back!

Can’t say enough good things about this listing and the hosts! Kiara and Lee are so kind, helpful and friendly. They really care about giving you a relaxing and wonderful stay. The home is new and modern and even better in person than the pictures. Great, well-appointed kitchen, beautiful bathroom with luxurious shower and lovely bath tub in the master suite. Lighting was all dimmable, smart TVs everywhere you’d want one., views of the river are gorgeous and I will miss the sweet, friendly goats Yankee and Doodle. Kiara and Lee go above and beyond and think of every detail to ensure you’ll have a worry-free stay. We would love to come back again and would highly recommend this place to our friends and family.

We enjoyed the area very much, the amenities that are offered are well maintain and clean. It is very quiet and that's why we enjoyed it, as we were looking for a relaxing place to go.

We had a wonderful family stay at Fernbrae for Thanksgiving. Kim & Bill are amazing hosts, easy to communicate with and always available. The kitchen is well equipped and the cottage is clean and has everything you need. It also has an amazing history while still being well maintained and updated. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed spending time on the front lawn and doing a campfire. Kim & Bill also gave us great recommendations! Thank you for an amazing stay! We hope to come back!

A wonderful spot to relax and enjoy. The cottage is cozy and filled with all the little extras that make it feel welcoming. We enjoyed the campfire area many evenings and the smoker/BBQ every night! The covered sitting area was a great spot for meals and the hammock for lazy afternoon naps. The shoreline is a bit weedy but there is a raft further out for swimming.

What an experience. Everybody should try this at least once! Renting your own private island made us feel like we were in a very private in exclusive place yet extremely close to things such as the boat ramp, restaurants, and other sights. You do need a boat of some sort, but that’s all part of the fun and experience! The house was well equipped uncomfortable. Swimming around the island was epic. It was a short 15 minute ride to get to sites such as bolt castle. There was also a great little restaurant in Rockport.
