One of the best places we've ever stayed on vacation! The house was beautiful and kept very clean. So much character and history. Peter and Darlene were gracious hosts, very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Would absolutely stay there again!

5 of my best friends enjoyed a 50th birthday getaway to The Sheldon Manor immensely! The manor is breathtakingly decorated and any possible needed amenity is there. We enjoyed dips in the hot tub and loads of giggles in the sunroom. The manor is perfectly located a short drive to either Perth OR Newboro & Westport for a little girl's shopping and or wineing and dining. All the ladies want to come back in the summer to enjoy the swimming pool. I cannot recommend The Sheldon Manor enough for your next to stay!

Our stay was delightful! The location was perfect, and the decor made it feel cozy while being away from home. The host was incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond. The wifi was spotty, but they were also very accommodating with our holiday stay.

Kirsten & Carter's place is really great and cozy, very close to anything you'd need. Kirsten is a great host, was extremely helpful and even helped us connect with local merchants as we were scouting a wedding venue. Merrickville is a special little town, the main strip is very walkable and has lots to offer.

This was such an amazing place to spend a birthday! Kevin and Melissa even put up a birthday banner which was so cute! The place was so clean and very pretty, the hot tub was fantastic, and all the activities were so so much fun! I would love to go back in the summer!

Kevin & Melissa went above and beyond by hanging up a Happy Birthday sign for my daughter's 16th Birthday girls weekend. Their place is exactly as described. Everything was super easy from start to finish. The girls had a great time hanging in the hot tub and watching the sun set. I would love to come back in the summer.

Every year our group of friends like to find a staycation for a few days where we can relax and enjoy our time together to get away from every day life. The pictures in Laura's ad stood out to us right away. Especially that there was a pool and hot tub, not to mention the beautiful lake view. When we got to the house it was exactly as and the description and the pictures had shown and more. We really enjoyed our stay in Laura's house. She was very quick to respond to any questions or issues which had come up. We really enjoyed the pool especially since it was heated and had spent all 4 days in it. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the pots, pans, dishes, utensil and more. We would highly recommend her house for anyone who would like a escape from reality for a couple of days. Not to mention Uber does come and there are restaurants and a walmart which is 10 minute drive in case you may need any necessities. 10 out of 10 stay!!

We enjoyed staying here during a late winter cold spell. The house was spacious, very clean and cozy. Perfect for a family gathering. We played lots of board games, pool and watched movies. A brisk walk to downtown to meander around the locks and river.

We spent an unforgettable Thanksgiving weekend at Robert’s house. This house is more than just an accommodation, its a whole experience of slow countryside living at its best. The house is beautiful, filled with light and books. It is well lived in and has everything that you might need. We were happy to find the fully operational kitchen as we needed to cook the Thanksgiving dinner. Even though we brought a lot of cooking supplies with us, we could totally skip it - the kitchen has everything that you might need. The heating works well, we only needed to turn it on for couple hours in the evening. Robert was proactive and left us very detailed instructions. So if you hesitate whether you should book this place or not, let this review be a sign for you. Come stay at the Bell house and let your dream of a cottage in the woods cme true. Excellent host and even better stay! Place was well kept and clean. Everything was stocked from pillows blankets towels and bed sheets. Waterfront property with access to activities. Only criticism I have is that we had to pay for garbage disposal even though there is already a hefty cleaning fee. Outside of that, everything was great!

Eddy’s house was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with dishes, serving utensils, small appliances, etc. which made cooking a breeze. The bedrooms were very comfortable and we had more than enough towels and linens for our stay. This spacious home and quiet neighbourhood was perfect for our family’s relaxing stay. I highly recommend this property!!

We had a nice stay at Onefeather's home. The street is quiet, no noise whatsoever. The house was very well supplied with everything you need and more. The air conditioner was needed for a couple of days and that worked well. I would definitely stay again when visiting the area. Thank you for our great stay. Nova Scotia girls.

Manuela’s home is incredibly spacious and very well suited to accommodate families and multiple couples. The home is located in close proximity to Perth, its parks, and a kayak/paddle board outfitters on the Tay River. The home is very sunny generally and it includes a lovely kitchen eating area as well as a large dining room for guests. The 2.5 bathrooms were well appointed and the kitchen was well equipped. The home was well cared for and very clean. Manuela is a helpful host who responded to our questions promptly.

Our 3 generation group came from the southern US to experience a white Canadian Christmas. Riley made the whole experience magical! Hot mulled cider welcomed us. A fire crackled in the fireplace. A massive, real, and exquisitely decorated, 16 foot Christmas tree glistened in the comfortable and tasteful great room. The gorgeous kitchen was well stocked with basics and treats. Riley took time to orient us to the immaculate house, amenities and beautiful natural surroundings. Five stars are inadequate to rate Riley. He is exceptionally kind & personable and went well above and beyond excellent! In our world-wide travels with many Airbnb stays, Riley would rate as the best host we have ever experienced. Ten very deserved stars**********!

Shayne’s place was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated! It’s in a quiet neighbourhood, walkable to shops and restaurants if you dont mind walking a few blocks to the main street. Shayne was quick to respond, a great host! It was the perfect spot for our girls weekend. Highly recommend his place ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Our stay was absolutely magical! The cottage was impeccably maintained, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The cozy fireplace quickly became our favorite spot to relax, especially with the festive charm of the beautiful Christmas decorations. It truly felt like a home away from home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and are already looking forward to returning!

Very nice and cozy place to stay with your family. We stayed there for three months and felt like home. Location is also perfect and its walkable to all the local shops and restaurants. Looking forward for another stay at this historic building.

Once again we had a wonderful time. The place is beautiful, the grounds are well kept and this year since the river was running high we spent a lot of time swimming. We’ll be back!
