Visited with 5 friends for a relaxing one night stay. The pictures do not do the lodge justice, when exploring around the lodge it is a lot bigger inside than what it looks on the outside. 2 bathrooms which made it comfortable for all. We had a slight issue with the gas running out and Michael responded within a couple of minutes to fix it for us. Hot tub was beautiful and clean. Kitchen is big enough to make meals comfortable. Would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay. The place was clean on arrival with plenty of fresh towels for both the hot tub and the shower. We had everything we needed in the kitchen. The hot tub was checked twice daily, so felt assured the hot tub was clean and safe to use. James was responsive and helpful when messaged. There was a lovely walk nearby too. The space felt peaceful and private.

Thank you for a wonderful weekend. My husband, baby, dog and I had a lovely time. The lodge was immaculate: super clean, tidy, had everything we could have wanted and was in a great location! We particularly enjoyed the sun on the balcony and the hot tub in the evening! The milk and cookies just topped it all off, thank you!

The lodge was homely and as advertised. It was immaculately clean and we loved the extra touch’s that made our stay relaxing The area was lovely and so beautiful. The outdoor area around the lodge was private while still overlooking the gorgeous views of the fields. Rachael was very helpful, friendly and quick to respond to any queries we had.

The lodge was lovely, the location spectacular and the hot tub was fabulous. waking up to lambs every morning was a pleasure. There are some amazing walks around the area and it's not too far to walk for a really nice meal.

Lovely stay at the lodge. Great location for the train into Harrogate and York. We were blessed with good weather so enjoyed alfresco drinks and a dip in the hot tub.

We have been here before and will definitely come again. This place is perfect to escape everyday life and just relax together. The welcome basket is a lovely touch. The cabin is clean and homely. We visited the local pub for lunch as it wasn’t far but you could easily park up and not venture anywhere for the whole weekend.

We were looking for somewhere to stay in walking distance from the centre of Marsden. A Place in the Pennines fitted the bill perfectly. Hannah has made use of every inch of the cabin to provide comfort and convenience. We only stayed for one night but would definitely return. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some peace and tranquility but with access to a great village and places of interest.

Idilc Getaway - Felt homely. Short walk (<15min) from Station and Centre of Marsden. Great Café across the canal. Not awfully secluded, lots of walkers passing by. While no balcony like others, made up for by big spacious windows. Space for Car Parking on site. Pre-made Fire and Flowers are lovely touches, besides very minor cleaning oversights that didn’t interfere, great place, sleeping 4 would be a squeeze for 1

great location, great house, great comes really thoughtful touches like a mix of feather and none feather pillows as well as dog treats and toys, location brilliant, the campsite next door is fab, great bus service to and from town. 100% recommend

Lapwing cabin is the perfect place for a total Relaxation break if this is what you are seeking ..here you will be able to just totally chill out and recharge. Obviously the weather helps in these situations and we had the weather too. The hot tub is the icing on the cake for this beautiful venue which is close to all amenities you’d need ( 10 mins from Selby town) but isolated enough to just make believe you are anywhere you want to be. We had two dogs with us and the decking area to the cabin is completely enclosed so the dogs can relax safe too and there are areas to walk the dogs and a dog friendly pub about a mile walk from the cabin. Overall this was a fantastic stay and thank you James for the excellent hospitality and great communication and help with everything.

Absolute gem of a place to stay, with every detail thought of to make sure every need was met. Very generous breakfast supplied with fresh milk, orange juice, pastries, cereals, bread and jam, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Along with the beautiful decor and cosy ambience, this was a real find and I will be back! Thanks Martin.

The cosiest cabin in the most beautiful woodland! Nicky was extremely helpful and it was lovely to put a face to the name yesterday when she came to say hi! Thank you for a lovely stay! P.S Hamish gave the warmest welcome too!

Lovely stay in Nigel’s restored carriage for my husbands birthday The carriage is so opulent and we felt like we’d gone back in time it’s sooooo beautiful! The carriage was warm and welcoming, the bed was so comfy, we had a great nights sleep. Excellent modern facilities and lovely little extras left to make the stay more special Nigel is a great host, nothing too much trouble Can’t rate the place highly enough! Great place to stay , very peaceful and lovely hosts who are very attentive. Short drive to Bolton abbey and skipton castle and otley and ilkley with lots to do. Nice hot tub and log burner to make the stay even better. Would definitely visit again and already looking forward to it . Thanks for everything guys :)

I booked the chalet for my boyfriend's birthday in the hope of having a quiet, relaxing weekend and it exceeded our expectations. The interior is stunning with a peaceful vibe and has everything that you could need. We even managed to cook a Sunday roast with all the cooking equipment provided! We loved the small details including the sound systems where we could constantly have music on throughout the Chalet. Jemma and Dan made it feel very homely and the fresh loaf of sour dough was a lovely touch. We would highly recommended a stay in this gorgeous place!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was absolutely spotless and amenities were great. The location was superb and just a 5 minute walk in to Upper Mill. Nicholas was very friendly and communication was excellent. We will definitely stay again.

Absolutely amazing weekend getaway at Jane’s Lodge! Jane and Mick are really friendly, Jane showed us to the lodge and talked us through everything. Even recommended some local walks and pubs! The lodge is in a peaceful and private location, perfect for relaxed stay. The lodge was spotless, beautifully decorated and had everything we could possibly need. I would recommend Jane’s lodge to anyone wanting a peaceful stay with proactive, helpful and friendly hosts!
