Friendly and helpful hosts. Very spacious accommodation. Good parking. TV took a bit of understanding as based on Amazon fire stick, but as a such there was a very wide range of content available and easy to link to any existing subscription services. We would be happy to stay here again.

A lovely little cottage which was squeaky clean. The bedrooms are downstairs below road level, meaning they are very quiet. I loved all the eco-friendly cleaning products and toilet roll they provided, and the nespresso coffee machine was a lovely touch! Just a 10min walk from the town centre. I would definitely return.

This is a lovely, private & comfortable property. It is very spacious, tasteful & well equipped. It has a luxurious feel with a fabulous sofa & shower! The open plan kitchen is well laid out & equipped. The bedroom was very relaxing with plenty of storage. The flat was easy to find & we enjoyed exploring the surrounding area. Suzanne & Ian were very friendly, kind & helpful. We thoroughly recommend this place!

We had a very nice stay in Carole’s place. The apartment is spacious and well appointed and in a great location just a few minutes walk from the train station and city walls. Highly recommended!

This apartment has an excellent location, a few minutes walk to Micklegate and then another 5 mins brings you to the centre of York. It was very clean and had everything needed for a short stay. It is compact, but that didn’t bother us as we were hardly there during the day. Clare is very responsive with access instructions and recommendations for places to eat. We had great meals at Delrios, Santanos and enjoyed brunch at Burberries. I’d absolutely recommend Clare’s place for a stay in York.

Beautiful, peaceful little haven on the outskirts of York. The accommodation had everything you might need it was like home from home. Lovely to find cake, bread, milk, butter and marmalade.

Andrew and Philippa were amazing hosts, nothing was ever too much trouble. The place is absolutely stunning, in our minds we’d already bought the place & moved in! Gorgeous get away with all the family and we would love to be back.

I would definitely recommend John’s place for a visit to Hebden Bridge! Conveniently close to the train station, the house is in peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. The place is very spacious. Kitchen was spotless, beds were really comfortable, and John left a kind welcome pack of breakfast ingredients, fruit and snacks. There’s also lots of useful info about the area, including walks, restaurants and pubs.

Great accommodation and host

This house is lovely, well maintained and extremely clean. The description on the site is very accurate. Our stay was to spend family time together, we went on some walks made use of the hot tub and games room. We did all our own food so can't comment on places to eat, this house was perfect for this. In the summer it would be lovely with views on the back and to have a barbecue to dine outside, If your looking for somewhere which is peaceful and enjoy walking I definitely recommend this house.

Lovely house . Clean tidy and homely . Neat garden with furniture positioned to catch the sun . Beds are comfortable and the house was ideal for the four of us. Mel was always quick to reply and proactive with details concerning the house and area.

As fabulous as expected. Ideal space for two couples, high spec accommodation with lots of room to relax . The kitchen is small if you intend to self cater but the facilities and equipment are excellent. We spent most of the time sat in the dining room watching the peacocks who wandered up to the window each day to be admired. Played tennis and walked into the nearby village along a public footpath 50 mins to a very good pub ( Dawnay Arms ) and evenings in the hot tub . Thoroughly enjoyed it, the host ( Lucy ) is onsite and is welcoming and supportive with communication without any intrusion . No hesitation recommending.

Stayed for my mums 50th birthday, the views are amazing & the house is stunning! Beds are really comfy the place had everything we needed for our short trip away, would love to stay again!

Spotless apartment in a fabulous location! This place has everything you could possibly need, including extra touches that made it feel very special - probably one of the best equipped places we have stayed in to be fair! Communication with Lucille was great; she is very friendly and approachable, making you feel really comfortable from the moment you start to communicate with her, and she went above and beyond to have the place ready for us at short notice after a very tiring, stressful day (long story)! The information provided in the apartment told you everything you needed to know about the apartment; instructions for all the tech etc, check in / out information and information about the local area, pubs and restaurants. Loved watching the steam trains chug by from the lovely balcony, which benefits from the afternoon sun as well as lovely views up the hillside. Loved it! Thanks again Lucille!

A spacious, sumptuous apartment, finished to a high standard with all mod-cons, and the added bonus of outside space. The sizeable balcony is a great place to enjoy a morning cuppa or a sun-downer whilst enjoying the peace, and listening to the river across from the apartment. An ideal base for exploring Yorkshire. One point to note, take your own shampoo. Although this is listed as an amenity there wasn’t any provided, and we had to pop to a nearby shop to buy some. During a brief chat with the owner he confirmed this is something they don’t provide. For the price point, it would have been nice to have this provided. All-in-all, a great stay and would recommend.

The apartment had everything we could possibly need. It was spotlessly clean and well set out. The large bed was very comfy. Bars and restaurants were only a short walk away. The apartment is close to the centre of town but the area is surprisingly peaceful. The welcome pack was a nice touch and was appreciated. We felt at home straight away Nothing was too much trouble for the hosts and Matthew did not hesitate to work with us to retrieve an item we had left behind. it was an amazing weekend and we will definitely return. Always a 5 star experience staying at Casa7! Tom and his team are professional, responsive and go above and beyond for their guests. The flat is in a quiet and safe area. It is very clean and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. I've stayed there many times now and can't recommend it enough.

Located just a few minutes walk from the train station, this is a great apartment for anyone visiting York. Easy to walk into the old town area from here, there are groceries and some restaurants nearby as well. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed during our stay. There were even a few treats left for us. We really enjoyed our stay, thank you!

It’s been a brilliant stay for us for the weekend. We were father and son, and there’s just enough space for us to be able to enjoy each other’s company, watch TV and sleep happily. The kitchen is modern, with lots of utensils and facilities. Iain even added an air fryer mid-stay. There’s a compact dishwasher which is invaluable, and decent high-quality crockery and glasses. The sofa and sofa bed are comfy. The TV is massive considering the space. This made for a very happy three-year-old. The main bedroom is compact but works well. It’s a comfy bed, and a really warm and welcoming feeling. The ensuite has a good powerful shower which is warm and inviting. Ian has been a brilliant host. Not only did he provide a highchair for our baby, but he has also promised a cot next time we stay. And even better than that he is allowed our kids to use his own kids climbing frame and trampoline. We will be back again, and I can’t speak highly enough of what an enjoyable time we’ve had.

I had a lovely stay at Kerry's place. It's very clean, organised, decorated and comfortable. Location is perfect, very close to the train station and you can get around easily. Quiet and tranquil neighbourhood. They are very friendly and helpful hosts. 10/10
