It was a lovely place to stay with a very nice and quiet garden, and it was great we could start our walk from there without taking the car. Very convenient for people bringing their dog, with pleasant walks close by. A shop is round the corner for all your needs. Andrew's very nice and helpful.

We were looking for somewhere peaceful and quiet and this was perfect. The hot tub was a lovely addition and the lights up and down the path give a lovely atmosphere at night. We had a super easy check in and recommendations for walks and places to eat etc.

My friend and I were visiting friends who lived in Oldtown so were so pleased. to find the cottage . It was perfect . We were pleasantly surprised at the spaciousness in the main room and comfy sofas and fire and very well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom . Also as we were lucky with the weather it was lovely to be able to sit outside in the morning in sunshine . It’s a beautiful area and enjoyed visiting Haworth , Halifax and Saltaire . Being in our seventies I would say the only slightly negative thing was the bunk bed though a very comfy one but can imagine that’s great if you have younger people with you . Main bedroom very comfy . Linda was a great host replying promptly to any questions we might have and we would certainly recommend it and hope to come back .

A beautifully presented cottage in a fabulous location. Very comfortable and very well equipped with everything you could need. Our dogs really enjoyed it and fantastic walks right out of the cottage onto the Pennine Bridleway and Pennine Way. Great hosts and very good communication - would love to return and highly recommended !

A beautiful spot with lovely views over the fields and hills, with the ponies as an added bonus, the sunsets were incredible to the front of the cabin, and great to sit out for breakfast in the sunshine! We really enjoyed our stay, and look forward to visiting again.

My family had a very lovely stay at the apartment. Melissa was very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment was the perfect size for my family of 5, cozy and beautifully furnished. The apartment is located in a nice part of Altrincham. The fact that it is a gated compound was a huge plus for us in terms of safety considerations. We will definitely be staying here again on our next trip back to visit our family! Thank you Melissa for being such a wonderful host.

Great location, nice and quiet area but very close to the centre of Manchester to get to all the attractions.

The lodge is lovely. It’s right next to all the walks on Marsden Moor and is so very peaceful! We loved it!
