I can't say enough about Mr. David and his place. We felt right at home from the moment we got there. David is a great host and his place is the perfect place to stay for a week of fishing toledobend. We look forward to staying there again.

Linda was a super responsive host, easy to work with and. the place was exactly what we were looking for. lots of parking and more private than many other locations. thanks again!

the place was great. even though it felt like low income housing, the neighbors were friendly and it was peaceful. it's a small town but had lots of restaurants, mostly fast food, and enough services to get you buy. I was there for work so for the price and place it was good. best priced for sure. only issue was the train ...lol.. but it's like a game almost.. any way. I'd stay there again.

Brenda greeted us upon arrival and showed us the room which was excellent. It reminded us of rooms in which we stayed when touring Europe--a cozy efficiency flat. It was ideally located for our purposes. Very quiet at night for a good sleep. We enjoyed it.

The place was very clean, beds were comfortable beds, friendly owner, very helpful for picking out dinner. The location is very peaceful. Great fishing or just bird watching. I appreciated the coffee. They offer breakfast and lunch for a fee . They also have a little convince store.

Cozy and quiet stay. Blanch is a wonderful host and very pleasant. Enjoyed our stay. Would stay there again.

It was a wonderful stay. As a matter of fact I booked another stay for longer before I even checked out. The host was incredibly helpful during the stay.

Staying here was great! They allowed us to check in a little earlier than 4pm which was amazing since we were traveling from out of state. Kaylan responded in a timely manner and was more than helpful! I would highly recommend and definitely coming back if needed in the future!

I cannot say enough great things about "Shore Thing" and it's host Amy! From start to finish, Amy was an amazingly responsive and gracious host! She made sure we had everything we needed to make our vacation an incredible experience. Coming from someone who is in the "people business", I can always tell when someone takes pride in what they do. Amy is DEFINITELY one of those people! Everything in this place was clean, in order, and well-maintained. From the modern updated bathroom and kitchen appliances to the multitude of other amenities, "Shore Thing" is the best place we've ever stayed on Toledo Bend Lake! I HIGHLY recommend this property and especially it's host. Thank you again Amy and "Shore Thing" for making our vacation spectacular!

What a great view. This was our first guys trip to Toledo Bend. The dock was amazing. Plenty of space to hangout. We used the boat ramp. It was very convenient. This location is very close to Many, LA so groceries etc are very close. Gilligans crawfish and barbecue were close and amazing. Definitely recommend. The rooms were as listed and comfortable. The kitchen was good.

Very nice place and responds very quickly. If I’m ever in the area and need a place I will book here again.

6 of us Stayed here for the Big Bass Splash. Plenty of room for boat parking, we fit 5 bass boats no problem. Multiple ponds on the 50 acres that have lots of bass and bream. Plenty of woods and trails for kids and adults to explore. House was big and had plenty of space for the 6 of us, also had large covered porch overlooking one of the ponds. Host was very helpful, accommodating and responsive. Would definitely stay here again, either with fishing buddies or with my wife and kids.

We had a nice weekend get away. We have two children under 6 and they had a great time!
