A great place to stay. Clean, comfy with a Dog friendly and secure garden, Close to a dog friendly beach . would highly recommend.

Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

What a fantastic stay at Perry’s place on Southend seafront! It was a little tricky to find the entrance but once we got inside, we felt right at home. Very cute and comfortable house, with the added bonus of being right next to the sea. We loved the decor too, quirky and homely at the same time. The kids loved the bedroom with the painted ceiling! The main strip (pier, arcades etc) is walking distance, but there’s also a fantastic park at the end of the road with a lovely little café. Great location, lovely house, we didn’t want to leave!

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

This little place was cute and cosy, situated at the end of Christine’s garden. I chose this place as I was attending Southend dog training which took around half an hour to get to from where I was staying. It had everything I needed. The place was clean, the bed was comfy, the shower was good. She had Sky Q set up so you could watch films and normal tv. This place was situated 5 minutes away from a marsh/field area where you could walk your dog which was handy. There was a premier shop which was just at the end of the road and there was a lovely breakfast place called Oliver’s which was 10 minutes away by car where you can sit outside with your dogs and £3 parking right outside. Christine’s place was very handy and she was a lovely host. I would highly recommend this place.

We only stayed for one night for a friends get together but had a lovely time. Clear instructions on how to find the caravan and get inside, clean and comfortable. Laurie was really proactive with messages and easy to contact. The beds were really comfortable and the shower was great - powerful and hot. The parking space seemed smaller than the surrounding spaces and was a bit difficult to manoeuvre onto in without driving on the grass a little, so might benefit from being extended. The site was really well kept and felt safe and friendly. Clear instructions on working the heating, fire, TV etc (the TV is Netflix and Prime enabled but you need to sign in with your own account). We ordered food from the Titash which was absolutely delicious and delivered quickly. Beautiful walk along the beach followed by breakfast at The Seaview café, which is an old favourite of ours - again delicious. Would definitely recommend Laurie's caravan and would definitely stay again!

We had a great stay! Spontaneous trip and Rohan was very attentive, nice looking caravan site great position right on the beach! Accommodation, spacious, clean and fresh. Looking forward to our next visit!

This is a really lovely place to stay. The caravan had everything you could possibly want and more. Hosts are incredibly easy to communicate with and very helpful indeed. Would absolutely recommend.

A very clean warm and modern caravan,a powerfull hot shower room with toilet and another separate toilet & sink. fantastic value for money place to stay. will be coming back for sure.

We had the perfect stay. It was a home away from home with little touches like kids books, games and movies. It's ideal for walks along the beach in all weather. Gill was a brilliant host. Friendly, helpful, responsive and very accommodating. The park has lots to do and it within walking distance of Seasalter beach and Whitstable. We'd highly recommend and come back. Great location and was lovely and quiet. caravan was clean and well kept. balcony is a great asset with dogs and they enjoyed there stay her too! lots of options for food and drink around the island. When the shower malfunctioned Jac got it sorted same day which was much appreciated. Cosy van with heaters for when it gets chilly. Overall great break and value for money. only thing to note there is no freezer, our dogs have raw food which needs to be kept frozen but we managed.

She was so helpful and kind! Teh location was so great - a Huge public playground in our "backyard" and the clubhouse was there as well! The staff in the clubhouse was great. The staff at the Reception were really helpful as well. The arcade was a bit run down, but my three sons, ages 6 to 12, still had a blast. The distance to the seaside was great. The caravan was quiet at night which was great.

We had the most wonderful stay at Parkdean, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the very beginning, the host's communication was absolutely top-notch – clear, friendly, and super efficient. The booking process was smooth and stress-free, which really set the tone for our whole trip. The caravan itself was spotlessly clean, beautifully presented, and incredibly comfortable. It had everything we needed and more – we genuinely couldn't believe the amazing value for money. For the price we paid, we got so much more than we expected! It's rare to find somewhere that offers both quality and affordability, but this place really nails it. The whole experience felt like a little slice of luxury without the hefty price tag. If you're looking for a fantastic getaway that doesn’t break the bank, this is it. We’re already planning our next visit!

Thanks so much for another wonderful trip to your fabulous caravan. It feels like home from home and is clean, comfortable and has everything you need for a lovely stay. We were blessed with the best weather too! It’s a perfect location to stay local and explore Seasalter or go further afield. We visited Wildwood, Broadstairs, the RHDR parking at Hythe and taking a trip to Dungeness and whitstable. Fully accessible accommodation which is not just functional but beautifully decorated too. Highly recommend a trip. There’s a railway line runs close by and you do hear the trains but soon get used to them going by.

Thank you Kelly for making our stay so comfortable. The Beach Hut was spotless, very well furnished and I had amazing time with my girlfriends. Thank you for the flexibility with check-in and out. Seasalter is a lovely walk to Whitstable so easy from the accommodation with easy access to the private beach. Great garden for summer evenings. Thank you we will be back

Better than expectations. I knew that I would be stay in a fantastic house from the pictures, location and reviews but Becky’s place was slap bang in the middle of old Leigh. Was spacious, in pristine condition and surprisingly quiet. Will definitely come back soon !

Julian and Clare’s cottage is beautiful and in a great location. It was immaculate on arrival and the host had kindly left fresh bread, jam, coffee, butter and juice which was an unexpected treat! The view from the balcony is stunning. We found the house really comfortable and the children loved it. There are loads of great places to eat or get coffee in walking distance; The Hatch, Osborne’s. The Peterboat did a good kids meal and were super friendly. We also walked along the beach to Southend Pier. We would love to stay here again!

The property is exactly as described. The hosts - Tony and Masha - are very helpful and friendly. They also gave us lots of recommendations on local restaurants which we would never find by ourselves. Location is perfect - near the beach. We have enjoyed our stay here. We highly recommend it.

Flat was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Balcony was an asset .

We really enjoyed our stay at the Beach House. It was great to be able to walk out of the back door and be directly on the beach enjoying the sounds of the sea. The house was comfortable, homely and well equipped and in a very convenient location. The weather was a little bit unseasonable and so the gas fire made the chilly evenings very cosy. We can always identify a good Airbnb by how sad we are to go home at the end of our stay - and we were very sad to leave this lovely house in its perfect setting. We’d certainly love to return one day.
