Great place to stay out of the hustle & bustle of Whitstable but a gorgeous walk in along the beach / coast walk - flat and easy for all. Really enjoyed staying in this area - lovely houses and beach feels very private. Plus the house is 3 houses down from the sea and upstairs bedrooms have great seaview. Very sociable space - 4 couples stayed and we had so much room to cook, eat & sit and the garden is a bonus.

We had the pleasure of staying for an entire month in this immaculate property where we immediately felt at home. Located in a quiet residential area but close to local amenities the facilities are excellent and the hosts go above and beyond to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. We would wholeheartedly recommend this property.

Lovely accommodation. 3 stories so kitchen at the bottom, bathroom and living room in the middle and then 2 double bedrooms at the top. Communication was great and responded very quickly. Permit was given so you can park on the street.

This was my first booking with Airbnb so I didnt really know what to expect but Mel has certainly set the standard. She is a friendly, helpful, honest, and incredibly responsive host. The house was exactly as described and the quiet location was perfect for us. We'll definitely stay again when we return to Mersea Island, which was beautiful too!

We have just returned home from a week’s stay at Karen‘s house. It was a home from home with lots of space for our family of five and very clean. Karen was super helpful and responsive, she even went as far as leaving presents out for our children that they loved and food items for our stay. The house is centrally located for shopping, the seafront, park and many other local attractions. If you are thinking of staying here, we highly recommend and would book again. Thank you Karen!

Beautiful cottage! Jan was responsive and helpful to our requests. Spent just one night for a wedding but will go back. The cottage is beautiful and Jan left an unexpected welcome basket. Would definitely recommend

A perfect home away from home! The caravan is in a great location and has everything you need for a perfect stay. The caravan is spacious, with a bonus of having outside decking and seating that looks out onto the sea. There are activities on the park (including an outdoor heated swimming pool which is a bonus, in addition to a shop, restaurant and clubhouse which had some good entertainment. This was all shared in my welcome email which was greatly received. The place was really clean and the added welcome gift from Shanice was a really nice gesture. I would definitely stay here again. It's always a pleasure to stay at the Hideaway. This time we used the children's play area just across the grass, my two grand daughters loved it. Many thanks, another lovely break.

We had a lovely stay for New Year, we were mainly exploring Whitstable which was so close by and lots of walks on the beach just over the road

Very nice caravan, really tidy, great value. Harts is a decent holiday park but gets crazy busy! The town is pretty scruffy but everyone is really friendly and my kids had a super time.

Jeremiah's place was fantastic, it was perfect for my family and I. the beds were comfortable. we will definitely stay there again in future and I will highly recommend this to other guests

We had an amazing time at Simon's place and our dog loved it too! The caravan was exactly as described, clean, very comfortable and welcoming to pets. It was in a great location, and we loved being close to the beach, the only difficulty was getting our dog out of the water - he loves it so much. Simon was incredibly welcoming and quick to respond to any questions. Simon went above and beyond by providing bowls etc for the dog as well as extra pillows, blankets for us and added things in the kitchen. We appreciated the local recommendations of all the amenities that were on site and near by especially for dog walking. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Mersea.

Colin had a lovely cabin for my family to stay in, peaceful, private and beautiful surroundings. We enjoyed the ping pong table especially, definitely worth the price and would highly recommend!!

I cannot praise Mick & Helena enough for the quality of their information, their pristine dwelling, and thinking of everything a person might need during their stay. We had an amazingly restful week, would recommend and will be booking again for next year.

Had a lovely home from home stay in Southend. I had to be down for work for 2 weeks and Molly Jane's place was just perfect for relaxing and sleeping after some long hours. The flat is very well set up and Molly Jane was a lovely and responsive host. Would recommend!

Sandy is a great host—very friendly and welcoming—and her place is lovely to stay in. We really appreciated the freedom she gave us, making it easy to come and go as needed. The property was also easy to find and access. I definitely recommend staying here, especially if you have an event near Apton Hall. Also, the neighhhbours were lovely to wake up to and see! 🐴

Extremely clean. Sauces etc in kitchen was unexpected and a very nice touch . Ditto Extra duvets, pillows in wardrobes. Shampoo etc in bathroom. Single beds very comfy. Double bed has a firm mattress. Very nice stay. Would definitely stay here again

The Lodge was great...very clean, well equipped, beautiful setting. We had a lovely break and the whole experience went really well from booking through to checking out. We...and our dog...would definitely recommend the Lodge.
