We lucked out and had beautiful sunny weather while we were here, and the apartment was perfect. Within walking distance of some great food and grocery stores, and right across the road from a pedestrian path on the water. It was a perfect place to stay outside of the noise and chaos of city center!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Airbnb, and it exceeded all my expectations! The property was spotless, well-maintained, and exactly as described in the listing. The attention to detail in the decor made it feel cozy and welcoming, and the amenities provided everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect – close to local attractions yet quiet enough to relax and unwind. Dominic was incredibly responsive and went out of their way to make sure the stay was enjoyable. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again in the future. If you’re looking for a great spot for your next trip, this is it! Highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay at John's place. The accommodation was clean, cosy and well-decorated. The view from the patio windows was incredible. Lots of lighting options and excellent cooking facilities and bathrooms, which are important for comfort and convenience. You are within 5 minutes' walk of a local Eurospar, coffee shops, pubs and a couple of fine restaurants. Walkers will also love proximity to Murlough nature reserve and the Mournes. We look forward to returning at another time.

Great location with beautiful sea views. We enjoyed Skerries immensely & the commute into Dublin was easy and affordable via the train! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Glenda and Charlie’s place. It was spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable. We enjoyed the peace and quiet and walks and swims nearby.

Had a great stay for 3 nights. Everything was as mentioned in the listing, but the photos don’t really capture the amount of space you have at your disposal. The views from the apartment are great and everything you need is within walking distance. I recommend Little Richard’s Pizza, Gerry’s Fresh Foods and Stoop Your Head (seafood restaurant on the front). Valerie left some scones, bread and milk which was very appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and was a joy to cook in. The heating was set for certain times so we didn’t have to worry about being cold, and it was especially nice turning up on the first day to a warm place. I would defintely return to Skerries and rent Valerie’s place again.

Joan is a lovely, kind and helpful host. The apartment is as pictured, really comfortable and cosy , especially with the range going. Great views of the sea , walk to a playground and local pubs with lovely food. Beaches nearby. Perfect for our little family.

The apartment looks out onto the Atlantic Ocean. Surfers, fantastic sunsets, people enjoying the beautiful area. The accommodation itself is perfectly clean, quiet and comfortable. Cot was provided for 1 year old. Above a cafe but no annoying noise. In fact it was a bonus - coffees and breakfast were very handy. Check in was made very easy as Stephen met us on arrival. Highly recommend Strandhill for a very family friendly holiday.

We were kicking ourselves, not only is this the most homely place to stay leaving the home raised duck and chicken eggs and bread for our breakfast was awesome; we should have stayed 2 to 3 days in Ballyshannon as we discovered great people and awesome walks and views. we are so thankful for your styling of the unit, heating on especially since we needed it and truly hope many more people visit you and your area. you started our Holiday perfectly thankyou Norita xxxxx from all of us Aussies

Myself and 3 girl friends stayed in Rachel's beautiful house. It was warm, comfortable and spotless. We spent most of our time in the conservatory, which is bright and spacious and looks over the sea. The lounge has a wood burning stove which had been prepared for us to light......it is such a cozy room. The bedrooms are bright and spacious and the beds are really comfortable. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer, but we'll be back, definitely. Rachel is a fantastic host and always replies very quickly. Thanks Rachel!

My husband and I had a peaceful trip here with our two dogs. We especially enjoyed the beautiful beach at the bottom of the garden. Mark and Ben are great guys and the welcome basket they left was outstanding. Thank you!

Our family had the pleasure of staying in this amazing house, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The property is stunning, featuring a fully equipped kitchen that made meal prep effortless. The spacious layout provided plenty of room for the kids to play both indoors and outdoors, ensuring they were entertained throughout our stay. The strong internet connection was another great perk that kept the kids happy and connected. To top it all off, the breathtaking view of the sea was the perfect backdrop for a relaxing getaway. Highly recommend staying at Declan's if you get the chance! The property is a lovely clean spacious house close to a beautiful beach and a short drive to all the amenities you could want, as well as lots of places to visit and things to do in the south east of Ireland. The fireplace in the living area is a real focal point of the property, and makes the space so cosy. We particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen: we had all the pots and pans needed to cook as if we were at home. Declan himself is a fantastic host - super responsive, friendly and helpful. Everything was so easy and it was a joy to stay there. Thank you, Declan!

The house is in a great location for walking to the beach, nearby pubs and restaurants. And also as a base for exploring the wider area. Internally it has everything you need for a comfortable stay. We would definitely recommend it.

Mark's place is the perfect get away. both a tranquil and peaceful stay. The apartment is top class and has everything you need for a getaway. highly recommended.

Well what can I say, an amazing place Tracy has, the views of the beach and the mountains is amazing 👌the place was so welcoming when we arrived , the little touches of food and a little welcome pack was a real touch , the beds were comfortable and it was really a little piece of heaven just what we needed. we went to see santa cottage which is why we stayed here and it was so close. can't wait to make it an annual thing . see you next year. ❤️

The apartment was perfect for our stay. It was centrally located, easy walk to public transportation and airport shuttle, and had everything we needed. Geoff was very responsive and accommodating. We would definitely return on a future visit.

Sehr nette proaktive Host, schöne ruhige Gegend, eher familiär, viele nette Cafés - alles was man braucht in der Nähe.

we stayed with Elaine on our way into and out of Ireland. lovely place, quiet, clean, welcoming. Elaine gave us clear instructions on how to find the house. lovely clean room and bathroom and nice living space to have breakfast and meals. Elaine told us about local amenities and we had a lovely meal at the local pub. we enjoyed beautiful sourdough bread made by her husband. A perfect overnight stay, would consider a longer stay to enjoy the beautiful rural location and a walk to the beach. Thank you to Elaine and her partner for making our holiday a little more special. Would recommend 100%.

My favourite air bnb i’ve stayed in so far. Had everything you could possibly need, lots of mirrors, spotless and the host was very nice to deal with.

We had a great time, it’s a great location right at the beach and close to cafes and a supermarket. It’s fine for 5 people, the apartment was very clean and had everything we needed. Aileen is a great host.
