Wir haben vier Nächte in dem wunderbaren kleinen Cottage verbracht. Durch die Gemeinschaftsräume, die auch von anderen Bewohner*innen genutzt wurden, hatten wir ausreichend Platz für uns drei und immer wieder sehr angenehme Gesellschaft. Alle Menschen waren super freundlich und aufgeschlossen. In der Gegend gibt es sehr viel zu unternehmen und das Cottage An Tionol ist sehr friedvoll und liebevoll gestaltet, so dass es immer schön war, abends zurückzukommen. Wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielleicht kommen wir eines Tages wieder! Vielen Dank für alles!

Perfect location and very comfortable

This was a wonderful place to stay to kick off a south to north hike of the Wicklow Way. Kathleen and Bill were incredibly kind and generous hosts. They picked me up from a town 15 minutes away and drove me to the trailhead the next morning. And they provided a free breakfast and a homemade dinner at a very reasonable price. Lovely, cozy stay.

John was an excellent host. He's got a really nice home within walking distance to town where there's plenty of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Very close to the local train station also. John and his wife were very helpfu and flexible l when checking in. They offered plenty of suggestions and recommendations whilst also being respectful and conscientious hosts.

Had the pleasure of staying at Marie's stunning house. Marie is very warm and welcoming and you do feel like you're a guest in her home. The room was lovely and comfortable with good wifi and bathroom right next door. Only a short ten minute walk into the local village where you can get a meal or coffee. Also walkable to Powerscourt and the gardens. You will also meet Bailey, the adorable golden retriever...just to mention that Bailey likes hot buttered toast as I do :-) Overall, excellent and would highly recommend as a place to stay.

Was just a flying visit one night stay for my kids and me, but our night was peaceful and comfortable. Strolling to the nearby Circle K in the morning sun for coffee and egg mcmuffins was a pleasure! Valerie was a very kind host. Bedroom and en suite were spot on.

The place was perfect, Pam and Tom are just lovely. We had stayed at the lodge before and while the shed is smaller it has the added benefit of views and cosy sitting area. We had a lot of fun with the wood fired stove where we successfully achieved a delicious stew. Highly recommended to individuals that love beautiful rural surrounds and long walks/runs - Pam has high visibility wear you can tack on to your outwear which I highly recommend given the fatalistic driving culture of the Irish XD. We have re-booked and will be staying again!

There are no words to describe how good Alice was too us! We gave us a lift to the wedding venue and once we realised we were in the wrong place she came back for us! We will tell the story for the rest of our lives. The place was spotless and the room very comfortable as well. Delighted we decided to stay here and will totally recommend it!

This is an absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very well placed in a lovely little village with all the amenities you need close by. The breakfasts were fantastic and the hostess Jules was very kind and helpful. The house itself is a real joy to stay in. In fact - I would advise people who even have no need to get accommodation to go and stay at least one night just for the experience. The furnishings and decor are incredible and one of a kind unique. It is like staying in a little piece of Georgian history. Imagine a period drama or something like Mrs Marples - Murder on the Orient express. It is like the set of one of those. Just fantastic.

Mary was a super host: extremely welcoming, friendly and hospitable. Her home is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean and our bedroom was very well presented and comfortable. We enjoyed eating our continental breakfast in the sunny dining room which looked out onto the garden. Mary’s homemade soda bread was freshly made and still warm. A delicious treat!

Elva ist eine sehr zuverlässige, flexible und liebevolle Gastgeberin. Das Zimmer war sauber und wie beschrieben. Die Lage war etwas weit weg vom Zentrum, aber abhängig von den Busverbindungen, gut erreichbar. Gerne wieder.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Harry, Marys Mann, begrüßt. Das Zimmer ist sehr schön mit Zugang zu einer Terrasse und wir konnten bei Kaffee und Tee draußen sitzen. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und der Tisch schön gedeckt. Beide Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und wir haben uns sehr nett unterhalten. Schade war nur die Nähe zur Motorway. Es war nötig, die Fenster zu schließen. Dann war der Schlaf nicht gestört. Wir sind mit der Unterkunft sehr zufrieden und bedanken uns bei Mary und Harry

Ich wurde unglaublich herzlich empfangen und habe mich vom ersten Moment an wohlgefühlt. Die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und es hat an nichts gefehlt. Das gesamte Konzept ist stimmig und durchdacht. Die ruhige Lage hat für einen erholsamen Schlaf gesorgt. Ich kann diese Unterkunft uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen, sofern es auf der nächsten route liegt. Es gibt absolut nichts, was ich bemängeln könnte – einfach perfekt!

Overall very good. Close to all amenities. Thought there would be a fry up for breakfast but very nice what was on offer. Would return again.

A wonderful place to stay when exploring Dublin. We liked the short distance for walking into the city. It felt safe and was very easy to remember how to get home each evening. Susan has a gift of hospitality. She is very kind. She gives you your space and yet makes you feel right at home. A yummy breakfast to look forward to, a great start for your day! If ever in Dublin again, my family and I would want to return to this location!

Danu was a lovely place to stay. Beautiful surroundings and Kate was really lovely and helpful. Would definitely return and recommend :)

Lovely,peaceful setting at top of the house.We had everything we needed and a comfy bed. Zita and her mother Jo were wonderfully warm and welcoming and made us feel at home. Would book again should we be travelling this way again. Great craic and scones.

Geraldine bietet ein tolles Frühstück mit großer Auswahl an. Die Zimmer sind groß, gut ausgestattet und werden täglich gereinigt. Die Umgebung hat viel zu bieten und Geraldine ist gerne bereit, Ausflugstipps zu geben. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft uneingeschränkt.

I've used B&B's throughout the British Isles, Rome, Athens and the Swiss Alps, but this is the first time I've enjoyed a full Irish Breakfast, other than in a four star hotel. I look forward to returning one day and don't be surprised ifsome of my friends come knocking on your door ! Thanks Kathleen and Tim for such an enjoyable time . Kind regards Derek

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Frances is one of the most wonderful souls that walks this planet, and I say this with every ounce of my heart. Such a positive, energetic, vibrant and soulful spirit who motivated and inspired me not just on my travels but for all things life! She absolutely went over and above to ensure my comfort and then some, constantly filling the room fridge with goodies , fruit / yoghurt / treats , her homemade baked goods when I arrived home were waiting for me warm and fresh. She recommended all of the best spots to see , took time out to assist me on getting to where I needed and on time on the days I had to travel and was just an absolute gem I was in tears when I had to say goodbye to her because she was not only a host but quickly became a great friend , a teacher and almost a mother figure I’ve needed to make me realise who I am She is an incredible person. And comes with so much wisdom and advice also The room is so tranquil, with beautiful views and so quiet Comfiest bed ever

We had the loveliest weekend in Rush! Was such a peaceful break and a nice place to come back to after a busy day in Dublin! Katy was on hand if we needed anything and it was nice to know we had a private space but she was nearby if we needed her. There are some nice restaurants around and it was lovely having the beach right on our doorstep! Will definitely be back xx
