Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

We had a lovely 2 night stay for a wedding this past weekend. The house was beautiful, the pictures dont do it justice. Clean and peaceful and a 5 minute walk to Lough Rynn castle. Stephen was a very helpful host and gave clear instructions with all the information we needed. Would highly recommend.

Was looking forward to relax as it was such a stressful week and Aoife's home was the perfect place to be for my family and I. Although we had a rainy weekend, the house made up for it- very spacious, airy, bright, the amenities, the view, the attention to detail. We have stayed in countless bnbs and I know a real superhost when I find one. Aoife is more than that. I appreciate the efforts made on the mini instructions and notes all over the house, and the Canva house manual is so cute. I am particular with bathrooms and it was a great decision to have your bathrooms renovated! They are so clean. I also love how it is suitable for families with small kids, the retractable gates, the toys, the high chair, the baby bath, the potty. Those were so useful. I can imagine my family living in this amazing holiday home forever.

What a gorgeous place to stay. Beautiful views surrounding the place. A nice, peaceful stay outside of the city. Cara was very helpful and responsive. The sauna was relaxing and a perfect way to end a day of trekking.

Noreen met us on arrival and made is feel right at home. The cottage was clean and tidy and everything that we needed was provided for. We loved the location, a quiet and natural setting in the midst of the countryside. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for having us Robyn and lovely to have met you Dawn ❤️

We had a lovely stay at the penthouse which has beautiful views of the sea from the balcony. The place was very clean and comfortable. Good location out of the city centre for visiting county Cork. We would highly recommend.

from the moment we arrived we felt welcomed. loved the farm setting with the animals! quiet and peaceful. house was cozy and warm. a little outside the city but a very quick and easy drive to downtown and everything you want to see.

We had a great time. The cottage is beautiful. Also very convenient. Killyleagh is a lovely village. We would definitely recommend a stay at Ivy Cottage.

Many thanks to Adrian for a lovely stay on Boa Island - accommodation was spacious and pristine and easy to check in and the location is superb with just a short walk down to the lough for either a walk along the edge through the fairy wood towards the jetty and small beach or to have a play in the playground or a barbecue in the better weather. All together a real treat of a place and will definitely be back to book the bigger chalets available with the hot tubs! Also thank you Adrian for the tasty gift of a wheaten loaf - it was delicious!

This is 1 place I would definitely go back to , it was so relaxing to be there that we slept well and enjoyed the scenery and surrounding area

The guys were so helpful about anything we needed. Communicated before during and after our stay to make sure everything was ok. The place itself was stunning. If you are looking for peace and to switch off, this is the place. Super clean, heats up very quickly, amazing log burner, massive comfy bed... i could go on. If youre considering this place, do it. Would highly recommend.

This cottage is a hidden gem! The location is peaceful and secluded with a beautiful view, the cottage itself was pristine and so inviting, Colleen had thought of everything, down to some milk to make a cuppa in the morning! The hot tub was the highlight, having it available to you whenever you fancied a dip! We stayed for two nights but could have happily stayed much longer. If you’re looking for a romantic couples getaway, or time to recharge, this is absolutely the spot

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage last week! We were looking for a cozy place to relax in the countryside and this was it. I didn't know what to expect re: this part of Ireland (having never been in the country before) but would gladly return. One thing I particularly loved were the personal photos and stories about the family and the estate that you find in the cottage. It's also located very close to the border with Northern Ireland and we were able to drive up for a day and saw the Giant's Causeway. Highly recommend exploring the area! I do recommend (as someone else did in another review) renting/using a small SUV to navigate the roads on the estate. You can probably use a sedan just fine but you'd need to go very slowly in some parts. Really lovely, would definitely stay here again.

Had a lovely stay at Brian’s place. Lots of space for our family of 5. The house is really nicely renovated and full of character. Very cosy too. The fridge was well stocked and we had everything we needed for a great three days.

Still dreaming about our stay! I honestly can't fault a single thing. The location was absolutely stunning, and the cottage itself was picturesque with interiors that were designed to perfection. Gorgeous little cottage. We absolutely loved seeing all the animals and being so close to the river. Lovely and quiet at night and all the amenities to cook dinner in the evening. Will book again when we’re back!

Accommodation is lovely and a gardens length away from the water, which is beautiful, peaceful and has a small private sand beach. Lots to do a short drive away and beautiful hikes. High chair and travel cot provided, although would have been nice to have a mattress for the cot- but surprisingly our daughter didn't mind not having one. Everything was ideal and very comfortable location.

Wonderful stay! If you are looking to go back in time and leave stress behind this is the ideal spot. Knowing that Patricia is on hand was very reassuring. Knockranny woods and the beautiful Carrick on Shannon is a must if you have your furry friends with you.
