This place is really great. The perfect setting to relax and unwind. You want to make the best of the amazing walks and visit all the surrounding coastal villages but you definitely will want to make sure you spend time back at the house on the hill.

Fantastic place and host, rose cottage is beautiful. Findlay was very informative, polite and easy to reach if needed. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will be back soon

Absolutely beautiful accommodation with a pretty view of the countryside and the sea. Super cosy with everything you need for a relaxing time away. We loved the outdoor bath under the stars :) it was quite magical. Jane and Monika were excellent host supporting anything we might need. I'd highly recommend.

It was a great place- in terms of its location, access to the two cities (Edinburgh and Glasgow), the space, amenities, serenity, a wonderful host (who pleasantly surprised you several times during the stay), pets around (there are many including two farm cats which are wild and adorable), bikes to make short rides around, a fully equipped kitchen, a jacuzzi in the open and place to have fire outside. It’s all pros and would love to go back again!

Our stay at the Distillers Cottage was absolutely amazing. From the day it was booked we were so excited to get there and it’s safe to say that it did not disappoint, if anything, it was even better than what we were expecting. Jenny was a fabulous host and responded to all questions and made the whole process so easy. When we arrived we loved looking around the place and seeing all the animals. The cottage was very well equipped and had everything we needed to ensure we had an enjoyable and memorable weekend. We also did a gin tasting session at the distillery and this was definitely a highlight. Thank you to Mary for this, she made the experience so fun and entertaining for us. Our personal highlight from our stay was star gazing from the hot tub - just wonderful! Thank you so much ☺️

We spent a lovely couple of nights at The Bothy. Beautifully done out with everything you need! We enjoyed the cosy log burner and appreciated more logs being supplied by Gillian on the second day. Would highly recommend, great peaceful location with access to lots of lovely surrounding villages and towns of East Lothian.

We had a great time at Libby’s. We used this location as a central landing place after exploring around St Andrew’s, Stirling, Falkirk, Culross. We felt well taken care of and appropriately checked in on. It was a very cosy stay!

We were in Elie for 2 nights and the Cupboard was great for a short stay as we ate out both nights. Although exceptionally well equipped for such a short space it would have been difficult to cook. due to the lack of workspace. The design of the space is exceptional for the size of the space and the wood burner kept us lovely and cosy. There are 5 beds all together but it would have been a challenge having more than the 2 of us and our wee dog. We love Elie and will be back and it's very likely that we will use Short Stay St Andrews again.

We really enjoyed Kirsty’s place very comfortable, had everything you would need for a short or long stay. Would happily recommend this property for families, sleeps 5-7, spacious lounge with a well appointed kitchen. Kirsty was easy to communicate with and prompt with her responses.

The cottage is absolutely lovely. Felt so at home. It’s peaceful, cosy and comfortable. The beds were comfy and we all slept so well. The kitchen is very well equipped and modern. And the bathrooms are great. Our dog enjoyed the cottage too, the surrounding area was great for walking. Gaele is such a superb host, nothing was too much bother. She is got back to us quickly if we needed anything and is extremely friendly and warm. Cannot wait to come back as our experience was truly a home from home. Thank you for a great stay!

We stayed at Elizabeth & Paulina’s for three months while colleagues worked on night shift. The assistance we needed on changeover weekends was made so much easier with their help while I juggled people up and down to Scotland. All the people who stayed loved the cottage. The location for us was great also. Both have been such great hosts - thank you so much.

Great stay. The place was clean and cosy. Great amenities, lots of places don’t provide much in the way of kitchen utensils but this was a fully stocked kitchen so cooking was easy and felt like a home away from home. Peaceful surroundings with beautiful views. I would definitely recommend.

We stayed in the cottage over Christmas with our two kids and dog. The house is really well decorated, beds super comfy, host very quick to respond and the location was ideal. We have stayed in 5 different Air BnB’s within the village, and so far this is our favourite. It was the smallest out of all the properties but that didn’t let itself down at all. We would happily stay again.

We had a great couple days. The house is really nice and equipped with everything and more than you’ll need, and the games room is amazing! Sadly only a short stay this time, but now we’ve found it we’ll certainly be back. Didn’t get to meet Lucy but was always there by message. Very accommodating on arrival and leaving.

We had a lovely long weekend in Helen’s cottage. Helen added welcoming touches such as lovely Christmas decorations and a lovely bottle of fizz and olives. The cottage is so cosy, very clean, very comfortable and well equipped. There is a good sized private and enclosed garden – perfect for our dog. Elie is the nicest village; the beach is literally a few minutes away as is the amazing local Deli and the fabulous Ship Inn. Would highly recommend!

This was probably the nicest Airbnb I have ever stayed in. Not only is the space beautiful, the view itself is worth the price. We were provided with anything we would have needed, whether it was for cooking dinner or bathroom amenities. The bed was incredibly comfortable and so much space for two people. The location is peaceful and quiet while still being so centrally located. Could not suggest this place more!

Kerry helped us out massively when another Airbnb host cancelled at the last minute. She was very responsive and got her property ready for us super quick. The property is beautiful and we can’t praise Kerry enough

Wonderful stay at the Garden Cottage. A perfect location for beach, train, shop access. Beautiful garden with peaceful spots to enjoy it. The cottage instantly feels like home. Jane is lovely - helpful and very responsive.

If you are in Gullane, this is a great option. Would highly recommend.

Lovely comfortable cottage in a very quiet area, so peaceful. Towels and linen were well presented and fresh towels given halfway through the week we were there. Cottage was so warm considering it was February. A summer stay would be amazing with the lovely garden area which is well furnished to suit a family or group of friends. Thank you.

We stayed in multiple locations during our trip around Scotland and this was by far our favorite. Clean, welcoming, and picturesque are only a few words to describe this fairytale location. It is rural which is a wonderful way to be apart of the Scottish country side. We would live there if allowed. Gorgeous!!! Thank you again!
