What a lovely place. Everything was great and as described. We arrived on bikes and Timothy met us and had a place to store our bikes. We hope to make this an annual trip and would definitely stay there again. Communication was always prompt, the house was squeaky clean , well stocked, and above all, the neighborhood was quiet but yet within walking distance to great restaurants and shops.

Awesome location, located right in between the Gulf and bay! The unit was nicely remodeled, had comfortable furniture and had a beachy vibe. Englewood was hit pretty hard by 2 hurricanes recently, so things are not back to normal, including the deeded beach access and bay access. We're also hosts in Englewood, so we're very understanding of that and it didn't stop us from enjoying the place!

The Cottages were great hosts. The place had all the accommodations needed to make us feel right at home. Everything was clean and well kept. We particularly appreciated how stocked the house was, plenty of beach/pool towels, beach equipment (chairs, wagon), and all the other amenities we expected. The elevator is a great touch. I never thought we would need/want one, but with kids, beach gear, groceries, etc. it made a huge difference. We didn’t need much during our stay, but when we reached out, the host was very responsive. Overall, a great location, great house, and excellent host. Highly recommended.

A very peaceful condo with a great view. Easy walk to the beach or sit on the comfy balcony and enjoy the view. The condo was very cute but spacious. It’s also a short walk to the nearest restaurant with entertainment. The island is still working to recover from the devastating hurricanes but this place was a slice of heaven. Also very good communication.

I really enjoyed my stay. I would stay here again. Mike answered all of my questions and got back right away. Nice having everything you needed for the beach and bikes.

Great spot. You can’t be closer to the water. The place is very well thought out and all you need for a simply enjoyable beach vacation. JJ is an attentive and helpful host. When it’s time to return to Manasota Key this is where we want to come.

We had a wonderful time staying at Turtle Nest retreat. It was nicely furnished and fully supplied with items needed. The view of the water and sunsets were amazing. Dana was very responsive when I had questions. I would definitely recommend Turtle Nest Resort!

My sister and I stayed for a week and had a wonderful time. The beach was just steps away, and the pool was conveniently located across the road. The condo provided everything we needed for the beach. It was very nice, although the door lock and code could benefit from improved security. Additionally, the ice maker was not clean and had a slimy residue inside. It may need cleaning after each check out other than that it was a great place to stay and would stay again Thanks Debbie & Katie

It was our first family vacation with our 10month old. The location was perfect we were able to take him on multiple walks every day. The island has enough places to eat that if you stock up on your essentials in the beginning of your stay you would never have to leave. It is wonderful

Well what can we say, this is our fifth or sixth time here and we have already booked another trip. It’s our favorite place in Nokomis!

The stay at Steven’s went extremely well. He was very responsive regarding all inquiries we had. He also accommodated a late check out for us, as our plane was leaving later in the day. Everything in the listing was made available to us and the walk to the beach was extremely close.

The place was really comfy and jayme was very helpful and friendly with my questions. 100% recommended

This is a beautiful, clean home. Pictures are accurate. We had everything we needed for our family of four to relax. We loved the dock for fishing and the pool/lanai space. We were warmly welcomed with roses, chocolates, a huge bowl of fresh fruit and a bottle of champagne too!

Rick and his wife were great hosts who could not have been more responsive or accommodating. They have clearly put a lot of TLC and thought into the place. There are several picturesque places to sit and relax (in sun or shade) and enjoy the warm gulf breezes. We enjoyed our coffee each morning in chairs looking over the Gulf. Two chase lounges were also provided along with a beach bag, towels & umbrella. The water is viewable from right outside the villa and the beach is a simple, scenic walk on a brick pathway. We left with a number of shark teeth that we found on our beach walks. While the hurricane last fall took some of the lush landscaping, there is still plenty to enjoy. The villa provides a private, romantic getaway with too many amenities to note. We would recommend Dearborn Street for coffee, quaint shops and an amazing farmers market (Thurs - Sun). Also, the Dockside Waterfront Grill and Pop's Sunset Grill were very good. We thoroughly enjoyed our time and hope to return!

Great location and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and it was nice to have two of the bedrooms in the apartment for some separation. Joanne was very responsive to our questions and concerns about possible hurricane damage (none in the house). Beautiful view of Lemon Bay and short walk to the beach. We were even able to bring our boat!

Clean place, close to everything, exactly as described.

Wow, what a find! We stay in Nokomis yearly and Dan’s place was a great find! Dan’s clear instructions and hospitality go above and beyond expectations. The place was spotless, close to the beach and has a serene atmosphere. Even though there are other guests nearby, privacy is still maintained for each unit. We’ve already booked again for next year!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful vacation home. Bradley was very responsive to messages and he and Derek were in the area and frequently asked if we needed anything during our stay. We have never had such a positive experience with vacation owners as we had with the owners during this trip. The property was gorgeous, clean, and completely modern with updated appliances and wonderful views of the ocean water from the deck- we spent a lot of time hanging out there because it was so comfortable and clean. The amenities were great and the owners truly thought of everything from small touches of a welcome basket to toiletries, linens and towels- it was more than we expected. It was an amazing vacation and we would definitely rent from Casa Key LLC again!

The house was fantastic! So peaceful and tranquil… the house was stocked with trowels and kitchen accoutrements and condiments . Her suggestions of golf cart service and grocery delivery were spot on with the nicest, friendliest people ever. The peaceful atmosphere was so welcoming and wonderful. Can’t imagine a more beautiful vacation spot. Hurricane Debby ousted us early but and act of God can’t be helped!!! I’d go back tomorrow!!!!! Thank you Amber for letting us gather in your home!!!! Varinia was very responsive and helpful. She was thoughtful and checked in. Place was just as described and had everything we needed. So close to private beach and own clean pool. We had a great stay at a great place!

While they are still recovering from the hurricanes, the view was still unmatched and the location couldn’t be beat. We were so grateful for our stay.

We had a great vacation. The place is beautiful with a spectacular view of the Gulf and literally steps from the beach. And it was very clean - from the kitchen, the bathrooms and the bedrooms. The host was very responsive and helpful with recommendations of restaurants and other local places to visit and things to do. We hope to come back soon!

My family and I had a great time in this home. The grounds were stunning and the home was spotless. The beach was secluded and we appreciated the serenity from the crowds. very short walk to the beach, very manageable for my elderly parents. the home also has multiple water hose access points to rinse off and felt so nice to get all the sand and salt off before entering the home. Nice large kitchen to cook in, huge dining room table and plenty of seating in the living room and outside for our group of 5. bedrooms were HUGE for a beachside home- very comfortable for all. would advise water shoes for the beach. we loved the natural florida coast and unmanicured seaside which allowed us to find over 300 sharks teeth and a seahorse during our walks. would highly recommend this home to anyone wanting to escape the crowds of most beaches while still just 10 mins away from the closest publix. Great vacation.
