we had a wonderful time at Robert's place. Everything was as described. the island is a perfect getaway for anyone that wants to go on an adventure and get away from the hustle and bustle. The kitchen had everything you would need to cook, it was perfect! Everything was well thought of in this home. On a side note, golf carts need to be booked months in advance and are pretty pricey and we hoped to walk around the island but we're told upon checkin that was not allowed. we could only go to the beach and back to the property. You could walk along the beach though.

We really enjoyed our stay at David's place. It was clean and comfortably furnished. The neighborhood was safe to take walks and the people are friendly. The Bluetooth stereo is really neat to use, just put XM on the phone and it linked to the stereo. The pool is not heated but we did go in and it was refreshing after golf on a warm day. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, except for wine glasses. We've never been puzzle people but we spent hours on one of the 1,000-piece puzzles David provided. There are Kayaks, horseshoes, and cornhole games to keep you busy, but we enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoon the most.

Joe made us feel welcome right away and they responded to everyone of our needs in a timely manner. We’ve never been there before and they helped us navigate our way to the destinations. Great for a large family with a very well equipped kitchen. There were nice sized TVs for rainy daysand quick access to all the stores we need to get to. We loved every minute and appreciated our Host being so friendly. Great for a long stay!

Joe's place feels like a real home - many AirBnBs can feel like a hotel with a little more space - Joe's house was not that! Complete with a ton of my personal favorite books, tons of kitchen utensils/supplies, a desk, and more. The huge fenced in backyard was perfect for grilling and our dogs. The location is right off of a main road that takes you to shopping/amenities within minutes. If you're looking for a great place to feel comfortable while visiting Sarasota, we'd recommend Joe's property to anyone!

Great location, absolutely lovely host. We loved to be able to go fishing right in the backyard! We also loved their were plenty of kayaks to go around for the family, very accessible to get into the water. Clean, spacious, nice backyard with a big canal.

The location was perfect. The hot tub was wonderful. The beds were comfortable. The neighborhood was very quiet. What stood out was the spaciousness and the proximity to multiple beaches. The highlight was a boat trip with Capt.Bobby shallow water experience He was the best! He was great. We saw multiple manatees , herons, eagles, osprey, dolphins, and just had a wonderful sunset cruise. A perfect getaway from the upnorth cold weather. Glad we found Igor's beautiful home. It was well worth the money. Our three year old grandson really appreciated finding the cupboard in the living room that had a few perfect toys. The big Legos were a hit . I highly recommend this Airbnb.

Loved the decor. So many thoughtful details provided. All items provided to cook nice meals at home. Really comfortable beds. Lovely responsive host.

My fiancé, our 1 year old and I stayed here for the weekend and it was absolutely amazing! We will definitely be back. There were kayaks and canoes to take into the river which was fun and free roaming farm animals. I was happy to see the Airbnb was spotless. We felt right at home immediately!

It was our first visit to Engalwood , Florida. We certainly enjoy our stay. The home was surely comfortable and enjoyable. Everything was just like it was described and shown. walking distance to beach was beautiful and peaceful. We were unaware of the destruction from past hurricans. It was definitely a hard thing the swallow, but it didn't stop of us from enjoying our time. It saddens us that a beautiful peaceful location was destructed by nature. Hope in time the beautiful beach can be restored back to its beauty, but it was also lesson to show our daughter. Thanks again for opening your beautiful home for us. we certainly enjoy it. Hope to make it back. Thank you 😊

We had an absolutely great stay. The apartment was exactly as described and we'll stocked. The availability of beach chairs, umbrellas, carts and coolers was great. We loved having use of the bikes and kayaks, it was so nice not to have to bring those with us.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb is a gem, located just 8 minutes away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable – it was super duper clean and well-maintained. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. From a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and even beach gear, they've got it all covered. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Very nice place to stay. Perfect location to the beaches and nice restaurants/hang out spots that were very close. Very quiet and peaceful. September is a quiet month - not lots of tourists. Lovely place that was clean and nicely decorated. My only issue was that the shower water never got above luke warm. I like hot showers. Otherwise, very nice place to stay. I would definitely recommend.

We had a great time staying here! The home was beautiful with all the beach supplies one could want. As someone who drove their boat up, the dock had great cleat availability and we had no problems getting a spot. One of the easier places to dock at that I have stayed overnight. Home also has everything for cooking and good wifi for being on an island. Loved the vibe of LGI, watching the sunset, and exploring the surrounding islands. Would definitely stay again!

If you’re looking for a convenient location to a beach that’s clean and efficient, this is a great option. What we loved: location is 1 block from beach, and 3 beach chairs available as well as an umbrella and cooler. Place was exceptionally clean. Beds comfy. Kitchen small but efficient but adequately supplied. Area was quiet. Things to know: there is virtually NO parking anywhere on Manasota Key and this place has one parking spot. Can’t park there early or after checkout if your arrivals don’t align with that, and the Key has almost no place to publicly park. Very few restaurants right on the key and the few there are very crowded, but plenty inland. There are two bedrooms with a jack n Jill bathroom, and the door from the second bedroom does not fully close to the bathroom, and an automatic light that turns on in the night when you open the bathroom door can be disruptive to light sleepers in that second bedroom just something to know ahead of time. Great beach efficiency!
