Marla & her Eagle’s Nest cottage were super and we highly recommend them! We came for a family Ontario nature & lake getaway and left restored. Marla is a thoughtful host who was flexible and supportive without being obtrusive. Our elderly mum was able to navigate the property with her walker or cane and enjoyed the sandy beach access with clear water to swim and canoe. The place was very clean, fresh, and beautifully appointed with all the important modern conveniences for the kitchen- including an ice cream maker! Ample parking. Some mosquitoes as expected at dusk (would it be summer in Ontario without them?!)- bring bug dope if you are sensitive. Clean hot tub with free star-gazing. Hope to come back.

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

We loved our stay on Fairy Lake Island. Kim was a wonderful host who went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed or wanted during our stay. The house was thoughtfully supplied with every amenity. The many outdoor spaces to relax and enjoy the amazing views were perfect. Every evening was a spectacular sunset with the best view on the lake. We couldn't ask for a better experience.

Great long weekend stay! The lower cottage was clean and had a beautiful view. The property had a lot of activities and things to do. A lot of canoes/kayaks freely available. Marla was an attentive, responsive host. Would stay again!

Great place to go and relax Erik and liseanne are great people. The river below the tree house is gorgeous the tree house itself is a great place to relax. thanks to Erik and Liseanne for giving us the opportunity to enjoy it

We were all very happy about our stay at this beautiful property. Appreciated the detailed descriptions & info provided by Jimmy as well as all the amenities available. The checkout time was a bit earlier and stricter than expected and caused a bit of panic last minute but that's ultimately on me for not reading as carefully as I should have when preparing ahead of time. Overall, it's a wonderful option and a gorgeous, clean space. Highly recommend.

Lawrence and his wife bought us fresh cinnamon buns on Saturday morning as a treat! Was a great surprise! Sorry we didn’t get to enjoy his famous fries! One of the funniest individuals my three brothers and I have had the pleasure of conversing with! He s a comedian at heart and offers a great slice of heaven to enjoy on a beautiful property and accommodations! Lots of cool places to hang out and relax on the property! We will be making a return visit for sure!

this was exactly as listed, and we are very happy with it! we travel for work so we needed something nice and affordable! it was a bonus we were able to bring our dog! next time we work in kingston, I will definitely be trying to book this again!

Absolutely amazing, we had great plans, but the ice storm and the cozy fireplace changed those plans. Hermann and Tracy were an absolute blast! Super chill, and super friendly, we would come back just to spend time with them! We had a cute visitor to come check up on us as well! We hope to be back, thank you hosting us Hermann and Tracy!

Rafael had a beautiful basement apartment, separate entrance and amenities. We appreciated the small touches of breakfast !! & toiletries for what we forgot. Close location to everything we need and family too. The only down side was we had an older and large top-heavy dog who couldn’t manage the stairs (husky malamute). They were advertised but I just didn’t think of it until we struggled, and our younger and smaller dogs were just fine with them.

Beautiful spot for a quiet family getaway with our geriatric mastiff. They had everything we needed for wet March weather with a 145lb dog. We look forward to going back in the summer as it looks perfect for lakeside fun as well!

The stay was incredible! I would say that the pictures matched, but it was so much more than what we expected. The space was bigger, was really well taken care of, and the owners were amazing people. Even when a minor issue happened, they were right on top of it and it didn't affect our stay in the slightest. I would 100% come back

We had a wonderful time here! Michaels place is a treasure trove of antiques and artwork that made the place feel magical. The house itself was clean. Michael was easy to get ahold of when needed and it was a great time. :)

Scott’s place was amazing to visit! Lots of activities to do. Great for families looking to get away from the city. Would definitely recommend and go back!!!

It was a great stay and very accommodating. Kids enjoyed the pool table and foosball indoors as well as the pool and lake outside. The kitchen and view of the lake was amazing. Lots of fishing was done from the docks and petal boat and some paddling from the kayak and paddle board (we brought this).

Our family of five had a wonderful stay. Very clean and comfortable old stone farmhouse but with modern finishing and amenities. My kids particularly loved the hot tub and we had fun tootling around the local town. Only minutes away from Picton and Bloomfield among others so very convenient location.

This home is stunning ! Full of country cozy charm with some upscale conveniences and an amazing water view. We booked for a girls weekend away and could not have been more pleased. The location was great! Grant was welcoming and easy to communicate with and the home a beautiful. Would highly recommend!
