Lovely little cottage, absolutely spotless and very cosy with decent quality bedding. We enjoyed our stay and would like to come back to explore a bit more. Great location, if like us, you want to escape the town/city/concrete.. but still want amenities on your doorstep. Supermarket, butchers, garage and pubs etc. We loved the hot tub and log fire...and the trail, literally out the back gate turn left. Would also recommend The Hardwick Inn, a short drive away for their home-cooked pies! Great communication with host. Thank you Jennie!

Could not fault the place ! Such a beautiful house , finished to a great standard and absolutely spotless ! Definitely would stay again 100% The only downside and I knew this before booking was the early checkout ! As you can’t check in until 1600hrs we believe you should be allowed to check out at the earliest 1100hrs ! However didn’t affect our stay and a beautiful place . Many thanks .

Absolutely gorgeous week away with another family, the cottage was perfectly suited to us … a big living room for the kids to play and lounge in the evening with the fire on, dining area and great bedroom config which meant both families had room. We also with our little one and had our own bathroom and our friends had 2 kids in the double room and they had their own bathroom too. The welcome brochure was helpful! Lovely pub a 6 min walk away and Carsington water visitor centre was perfect for some exploring. A brilliant stay thank you and we will hopefully be back.

Owslow Cottage was very relaxing and peaceful! We all loved our time here and the surroundings are beautiful. The cottage is cute and well looked after. It had everything we needed. Carsington Village and pub was only a 25 minute walk and was a stunning place. The walk around Carsington reservoir is also stunning. The access to the hot tub was the cherry on the cake! Would definitely return and would recommend the stay.

We stayed in the Manor for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with our relations from Australia. We had a fantastic stay! The rooms were a perfect size and could fit us all in for games and entertaining ourselves, the kitchen was fully stocked with all the crockery and glassware we needed, the children loved the games room and the hot tub and the house was beautifully adorned with Christmas decorations. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this characterful house.

Our stay at Wetley Cottage was fantastic! The place has obviously been designed with care and thought in every detail! One of the most well stocked places I’ve ever stayed with everything you could possibly need! The whole cottage was very homely, cosy and comfortable. The outdoor areas had so many different options to sit and relax! Shetland ponies were an adorable bonus! Louise was so lovely and helpful! Even coming to tell us that the Northern Lights were visible! Plus many other super local recommendations! The place was private at the end of a lane. The surrounding nature was superb, we heard owls and saw many other interesting birds. I would recommend Wetley Cottage to all! Perfect in Winter and I imagine just as wonderful all year round!

We stayed for my partner's birthday and it was absolutely beautiful. The hot tub was a particular highlight - the night was perfect for stargazing and it is now a treasured memory for us. The place was spotless and well equipt with a comfortable bed and a nice refreshing waterfall shower. Lots of places nearby to walk around and admire the countryside. We ate at the Duncombe arms which is about a 12 minute drive away and was excellent. Thank you so much for having us!

We stayed for a couple of nights over Christmas and cooked our Christmas dinner at the lodge. The kitchen was very well equipped - the oven was a bit tricky but the hob was fine. The lodge was very clean and homely. Great peaceful location and the most amazing sunsets were visible from the lounge. Caroline was really helpful and on hand if needed.

Sarah and her husband were great hosts, really quick to respond and very helpful. The house has lots of room, is beautifully decorated throughout, and the perfect place to stay for a large family or, in our case, two families (each being 2x adults, 2x kids). The toys and trampoline were a big hit with the kids! It’s a stone’s throw from Moira Furnace (great place to visit and spend a day with the kids) and the canal; close to Conkers (nature, adventure day out for families); the National Forest; and there’s a Co-op right round the corner to get any bits you need for your stay. We didn’t find a nearby pub that served food, but we didn’t try that hard to either as we ate out elsewhere and got takeaway/food to cook at home. We’d definitely stay again, highly recommended.

We have just returned from a weekend at Elliott House and the dairy for my dad's 60th birthday. We all had the best time! Both houses were beautiful and clean on arrival, added bonus that the gardens joined together meaning we didn't feel like we were separated. The kitchen in Elliott House was superb and fully kitted with everything we needed to make a Christmas dinner for 14 people. Rachel responded quickly to any questions I had and the gentleman that does the ground maintenance was super friendly and helpful in finding a good walk for our cocker spaniel. The only 1 small negative we had was "the secure dog walking area" being a lot smaller than we had originally thought it would be. That a side we an amazing stay and would definitely look at coming back again. Thankyou from the Smith family 😊

Our Stay at the miners Cottage was a pleasure. The location was perfect for me and my Son we were visiting family over the Christmas Holidays. The home was very cozy and clean, and Maxine was available via text if we had any questions, which we didn’t as everything was perfect. I would highly recommended this accommodation, if you are looking to stay in the area.

My second time staying in this property and I’ll definitely be back again. An incredibly peaceful location and the property is set up with everything I could possibly need for a relaxing stay.

We had a lovely few days in this cosy accommodation. The fire was lit when we arrived, and we had all the basics we needed, milk, bread, coffee tea and sugar. There also some toiletries in the bathroom. We visited Go Ape, which is a short drive away. The kids liked exploring, and looking at the beautiful horses. I would recommend and would visit again.

This is such a lovely house, very clean, with books, a spacious loft room, and a garden to relax in. The location is near to a tram stop; shops, Tesco's, Sainsbury's are about 15 minutes' walk away. The welcome fruit and wine added a thoughtful touch to the welcome extended to us. Thank you, Michael and Heather, for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful, cosy cottage, perfect for a quiet long weekend. The gardens were stunning and the location rural and peaceful. We found local walks and country pubs, and enjoyed glorious sunshine! Thank you, Izzy, for making your cottage so comfortable!

We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. The space is great and as an extra bonus, you get to use a heated pool and brilliant games room. We went early Jan and there was loads of snow, as well as pretty cold temperatures, but the house warmed up very quickly and we were always more than comfortable. The property is close enough to Bakewell for a short drive or taxi ride, should you want to venture into town. We're thinking about going back in the summer.

What a wonderful stay at Manor Farm. The house was beautiful, well maintained, extremely spacious and very comfortable. The surrounding countryside was stunning, with great food being served in nearby pubs and plenty of places to visit. Great space for youngsters too, with the wildlife - baby rabbits, sheep and birds and of course the swimming pool and games room, all of which they loved. Thanks to the hosts for their welcome and hospitable atmosphere.

Great value for money. Can't stress enough how friendly and reliable the staff were. We had a lovely week stay, the house was clean, the beds were comfy and the scenery was perfect. We were informed of the booking system for the swimming pool and games room, so you could have the room to yourself which was great. The pool was clean, the games room was kept tidy and the house surroundings were really lovely to walk around. You can tell the grounds were well maintained and kept in good shape as the workers never stopped, but were always so friendly. This property is perfect for bike riders, walkers and pub crawlers. You couldn't get bored.

I had a lovely stay at this Airbnb near the Peak District! The place was even better than the photos—beautifully maintained, clean, and very comfortable. The location was perfect for exploring the area, and the host was incredibly responsive and kind, making sure everything went smoothly. I truly enjoyed my time here and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. Would definitely stay again!

We spent a lovely 3 nights here with our 2 children (8 & 4) and our dog. The apartment was perfect, had everything we needed. Beds were super comfy & the whole place had a really homely feel to it. The hot tub was great, we also booked the pool on 2 of the days which was really easy and the kids loved having it to ourselves. We used the games room which had some really good equipment in it. The location was a few mins drive into Bakewell. Overall a great family friendly place to stay which we all loved and would happily stay at again.
