This is a nice home and my group had a nice time there. The house was cozy and the hot tub was a big plus. It was a unique experience to visit in the winter! May seem obvious - but remember the lake may not be usable because of ice!

Such a beautiful location with a wonderful view, I came for a staycation just for the night and it was absolutely worth it and exactly what I was looking for. I can’t wait to come back in the warmer months!

This place was just as advertised. Everything was very clean and well stocked for us when we arrived. We stayed here for work so I didn’t get to enjoy the area as much as we would have liked. Daniel was very responsive and worked with us on changing our check out date multiple times. If I come back to this area again, I will definitely look into booking this place again!

This was a wonderful getaway for my family and friends. We had two toddlers that loved the river beach and pool. There were plenty of toys to keep the kids and adults busy!

This was a fantastic place for a relaxing break between the holidays! I loved being right on the river, it was so serene and comfortable. The house was wonderful with the windows looking right out onto the river. I'd definitely recommend this place and hope to return. Cheryl was there to greet me when I arrived and sent great information about things to do in the area.

We came here for a retirement celebration with our kids and grandkids. The house is amazing, very large and offered each of us places to gather for conversation and games, plus places to retreat when we needed some quiet. We visited Stafford Hall for their Christmastide event and for hunting shark teeth on the beach. Much fun for the kids. Highly recommend!

The house was cozy, accommodating and clean. The beds were very comfortable and linens were clean. It was quiet and the beach was just a short walk/golf cart ride away. If I had to make any slightly negative comment, it would be to provide more wash cloths and towels. But that was a very small detail and we just washed and reused what we had, no big deal. The owner was responsive to all our questions and accommodated a last-minute booking for us. We would definitely book this property with this owner again!

My girlfriend and I had a nice little weekend girls getaway and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to go! Michael’s place was right on the beach and we enjoyed beautiful sunrises on both mornings. The house was very clean and it had everything needed to make our stay just perfect. Don’t hesitate to rent Michael’s place!

We were 4 adults and 1 child (9y). We absolutely loved our stay at Jackie’s place. She was proactive in her communication and very flexible. She was able to offer as an extra night for free. We understand that this will not always be possible but it isn’t the norm nowadays anymore and it shows she goes above and beyond for her customers. The house was close to the beach, clean and everything was just as described online. We loved the quiet area, perfect for families with children or people who don’t like overcrowded beaches. Our boy loved catching jelly fish, collecting rocks and shells and of course being in the water. Our favorite restaurant was high tides (yummy cocktails and the best fish and chips basket). We also ventured out to see James Monroe’s and George Washington’s birthplace which were only a 20 minutes drive away and really worth a visit. Jackie, thank you for everything!
