This is our second time staying at Sharon’s place. We visit Gainesville and Cedar Key and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. Her home is so nicely decorated with personal touches of home. The beds are super comfortable and the screened porch is where we spend our mornings drinking coffee and listening to the birds. Sharon is a wonderful host who is easy to communicate with and goes out of her way to make sure her guests are happy with their stay.

Otter Springs is truly one of a kind! The house is immaculate and has many essentials to help make your stay even better. Everything is clean and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The outside is incredibly beautiful, private and spacious. The dock has newly updated stairs leading to the river making it easy to get in and out of kayaks & paddle boards. Nature is of abundance here as you can see several species of birds hunting for fish. We saw deer in the neighborhood. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to paddle with a family of otters for days as they played. It was magical! The kids loved having their own space in the separate house. We all spent all day on the water exploring upstream the cypress forests. It’s so peaceful to allow the river to float you back down stream to the house. You don’t even have to paddle! The water is crystal clear and refreshing. This house is a hidden gem and we absolutely cannot wait to book again!

Have not ever encountered a more wonderful host! The home was very large and comfortable. The host provided fishing tackle, a canoe, paddle boards, and kayaks. Everything was wonderful!!

We had amazing stay at Sunny’s home. It had everything we needed and we got to have a great day on Rainbow River. Will be back!

This place was the perfect house on the water. Came from Naples, so was looking for some isolation. Very spacious and homey house. Kitchen is beautiful. House is more updated than photos show, no more carpet and additional couch has been added. Felt so at home. Had family dinners, breakfast on the deck. Beautiful photos and sunrise from the dock. Cheryl was so responsive and I can’t wait to book again! Roosters next door didn’t bother us, not sure how other reviewer had an issue. Can be heard outside but not in. Highly recommend!! Also, yes somewhat dark out back. I turned my car lights on and played music while we had the camp fire going. No issue with it whatsoever. Thank you Cheryl for being an awesome host and letting us stay at this beautiful retreat!!

Everything was just as described. Great place for two couples who are good with sharing bathroom. Very private and peaceful. LOVED the screened porch. Would definitely stay again.

My large family had a wonderful annual trip. The house was homey with great views of the river. Large property. So many supplies to support large families : chairs for inside and outside, folding tables, plenty of dishes , toilet paper, towels, linens, games, etc. What a memorable stay. We would return and would recommend 10/10.

Absolutely a Hidden Gem. Relaxing and peaceful are the first two words that come to mind when I think of our time spent in Cedar Key. The host was responsive and the home owner was delightful. We took the kayaks out to a sandbar and had a picnic and saw some amazing wildlife up close. Bring bug spray if you go down to kayak launch the mosquitoes are bad but once you get on water not one bothered us.

Thea’s place is a wonderful spot. The deck and the view were such a pleasure! The house is well maintained and spotless.

The accommodations were really great for my holiday weekend stay! We used the lovely firepit -swing area every day. Bobby was responsive and helpful. The kitchen had everything I needed. Coffee overlooking the mist rising off the water in the morning was just so beautiful. The river is amazing… the hawks, ibis, anhinga, herons, and so many other birds were so cool to hear, and watch!

I enjoyed staying at this cute place. Very quiet and clean and felt right at home. My host was very responsive every time I had a question and very friendly. I highly recommend this place and if I have to travel that way again, I will definitely will love to stay there again. Thank you for making my stay so beautiful!

Really enjoyed the property off the beaten path and away from people, but still extremely close to the springs,and all there is to do outside in cheekland

Houston has a great place! This was perfect for our family as this was our first spring break trip with our 5 kids ranging from 10-14 yrs old. The bunkhouse was a huge success, the kids loved having their own ‘house’ with a full bathroom, mini fridge, microwave and TV. This also allowed for us to have a little quiet time while they slept in, which was perfect to enjoy an early cup of coffee in the enclosed porch. We loved that the main cabin had plenty of room for all of us to enjoy meals together or a movie at night. Houston was a huge help with giving us some ideas to kill time with the kids at some parks that were close by. We visited Crystal River and Homosassa Springs, both were pretty awesome! We would definitely stay here again and will be recommending this to any of our friends looking for an affordable place in Florida!

The Rustic Bear cabin was awesome! Beautifully decorated and the location was great. We truly had a great time. Hosts were very quick to reply if we needed anything. It’s a gem!

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱

My partner and I chose this Airbnb to relax over the weekend while attending my sister’s wedding. The place was easy to find, clean with hot water and everything clearly labeled. Karen was very welcoming and went out of her way to ensure some of the renovations on her property did not conflict with our stay. We’re very thankful and appreciate both her communication and effort on ensuring this Airbnb stands out in the Ocala area as a destination of it its own. We’d gladly book another stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay here and will definitely be staying with them again in near future.

From start to finish Bryans place was exactly everything we could have hoped for. The place was plenty big enough to host 11 girls for my sisters "camp bachelorette" party. Inside and outside was very nice and had all the necessities you need. We ate at Blackwater Grill for dinner and were completely blown away by the food and atmosphere. The place had plenty of beds, plenty of seating and lots of fun to be had. Beds were actually very comfy and the linens were nice. We had a little mishap with the thermostat the first day and Bryan was extremely helpful and responsive in getting it resolved and even came with space heaters for a quick fix while the AC guy was working. He gave us some fun recommendations in the area as well. Would absolutely stay here again in the future. Thank you Bryan for hosting us :)
