The place was beyond our expectations. The views are incredible and it felt so private and peaceful. Inside the house was beautiful, very cozy but modern and they had thought of everything. The kitchen had lots of bits that meant you could cook proper meals which was lovely. Felt right at home and would reccomend it to anyone looking for comfort and tranquility.

What a magical place! We absolutely loved our stay here and already dream of coming back. The inside is soooo beautiful and comfortable that we didn’t mind staying in on rainy days. We could never get sick of watching the sheep roaming the hillsides or the ever changing coast from the fabulous sunroom. The only downside is we were unaware of the time involved to bring the wood-fired hot tub up to temp. It takes an hour to fill with water and “up to 3.5 hours to heat in the winter”. Since we can’t leave the fire unattended, we weren’t able to enjoy it until our third night since we arrived home so late on the previous nights. It is also very hard to find in the dark and the pin led us to the wrong spot. Google Mapsing the house name took us to the right spot, but we arrived in the dark and were unable to see the sign to the bottom right of the gate. Everything else was completely perfect and we highly recommend staying in this lovely place.

Great place in a great location, just a 10-minute walk into Stornoway with the big Co-op just around the corner. The place was very clean, tidy, and comfortable. A real home from home! I highly recommend this little gem!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Very spacious living rooms and bedrooms.A grand hall and staircase. Big baths and a jacuzzi. 5 minute walk from the main square in Portree and has its own parking space which solves the parking problem in Portree. No problems with the heating, everything worked fine. Lovely welcome pack and greetings card. We highly recommend this place

Stayed here during a trip with 6 friends traveling all throughout Scotland and this was definitely our favorite place to stay throughout the entire trip. The AirBnb was wonderful. It had everything we needed and felt cozy and right at home. We all agreed we got the best sleep of our trip at this stop. The host, Alexandra, was extremely helpful in letting us check-in early and providing us with a ton of recommendations for nearby activities. The house itself was lovely. Beautiful view of the water (that had seals right up by us!) Absolutely would love to stay here again and would recommend it to anyone.

Most favourite house we’ve ever stayed. Such a lovely place with an incredible view. Our host was so kind and welcoming. She welcomed us with a freshly baked bread and snacks. She helped us with all the local restaurants and places to go. Best house to stay at the island without a doubt. Thank you for hosting us.

Sandy is very thoughtful, waited till 0100 at late night to guide us, and prepare some food for us which helps a lot since the weather next day isn’t very nice, and the view is so good and calm, highly recommend

Beautiful renovated cottage in a peaceful location at the end of a very minor road. Although it was renovated more than 2 decades ago, there have been some updates, eg a new induction hob and oven, and it was clean and well looked after. There was electric heating set to a comfortable temperature for a grey damp November. Clare was very responsive to the one problem we had, a washing machine that wouldn't drain. We have her permission to go in while we were out walking and it was sorted by the time we got back. Trotternish is a beautiful area. We walked the Quirang, Rubha Hunish, the Old Man of Storr and the Fairy Glen. Rankins supermarket in Uig is amazing. Highly recommended!

A nossa estadia em Portree foi extremamente agradável. A casa é muito funcional e aconchegante, com uma charmosa sacada na parte de trás. Os quartos têm um tamanho adequado e a internet funciona muito bem.

Cozy home with stunning views of mountains, farms and sheep. Well-equipped kitchen. Donna was a helpful and responsive host. Spacious for a small family. Loved the peace and quiet and would love to stay here again.

What an Amazing place to stay. The location was fantastic as it was so close to all the shops or to go for something to eat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable with everything I could possibly need. I will definitely stay again.

This was our first visit to Skye and the cottage was the perfect place to stay. It is attached to the owner’s home but otherwise in a fairly remote location. The owners are really friendly and helpful and the location is unbelievably beautiful! The cottage was very welcoming with colourful decor, cosy and had everything that we needed. Easy parking for the car outside the door. We stayed with our dog and were all very comfortable during the stay and sad to leave when it was over.

The view was beautiful very peaceful and relaxing- quick response to all our needs

Island hospitality and generosity at its best. The place was well stocked with everything we needed and extra. Lovely touches of shortbread, fruit, milk and breakfast cereals. Central to Tarbert perfect for exploring both North Harris and the south. A very comfortable spot for 2. Well 3 including the dog. Thanks for a lovely stay will book again.

Jed's place is in a great location in Portree - nice quiet neighborhood with easy parking, and is a short walk to the town center. Having a clothes washer is a great added bonus.

Was unable to stay at this place as the road onto Skye was closed and we did not have the time to drive back to Inverness and re-try on the only other route. However, Rachel was fantastic to deal with and I would recommend her place when visiting Skye.

Lovely studio to use as a base to explore the Isle of Skye. We had a great time over three nights and had everything we needed. It was very clean, well equipped and warm. Mary Flora is a delightful host. We have no hesitation in recommending this listing. Ps foreshore walk nearby is worth doing.

Wonderful place to stay in Portree

Had a lovely stay at Laura-Jayne's place. Well equipped kitchen and nice furnishings and the bed was comfy. It was quiet yet handy to walk into town within a minute. Would definitely stay again.

I visited the Isle of Lewis for work and found Mark & Eves place - AirBnB said it was rarely available and I can see why. I like to have my own space while working away from home and this property checked all the boxes. The property was super clean and I felt right at home, the kitchen facilities were perfect and the corner sofa was so comfy! Mark was super helpful and responsive to any of my messages and was more than happy to provide me with some local knowledge and recommendations to make the most of my free time. It was my first time on the island and I was sadly working for a majority of my trip but will be looking to visit again for leisure and will be booking the property again! Thanks again Mark & Eve :)

We had a lovely stay, Yvette is a wonderful host! She was kind, thoughtfull, helpfull and friendly. The flat has a stunning view and is in a very peacefull neighbourhood. In just about one hour drive one can reach a lot of touristic places for a nice hike (i.e. Fairy Pools, the Old Man of Storr, Quiraing etc), but a nice walk in the neighbourhood is just as beautiful. It’s my second time in Yvette’s place and I really hope I’ll be back soon!

This is a spacious, cosy, comfortable place to stay. It's peaceful, remote, in beautiful surroundings - the Atlantic to the West, the mountains of Torridon to the East, and views of Skye from beautiful local beaches. Onie and Ally were friendly and helpful (above and beyond after I'd gone knee-deep in a bog on a walk, making sure my boots dried by morning). The apartment is, if anything, better than in the photos - the comfortable sitting room/dining/kitchen area really spacious. I slept super-well here and had some great walks and drives in the day - taking hundreds of photos.
