Amazing location and amazing home, i'll will cerainly schedule a return trip.

Leigh Anne was an amazing host! She was quick to respond to questions and very accommodating. The delicious cinnamon rolls she left as a welcome gift were such a sweet treat! The home was even more beautiful than the pictures! Every room was gorgeous, cozy and felt so well thought out. We had our family Thanksgiving here and the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed (pots,pans, cutting boards, knives, serving utensils etc). The property was breath taking. There were so many places to hike, fish, relax, play and soak it all in! It was an amazing trip (my sister got engaged on the trip so that was special too)!! We loved every minute and will definitely be back!

We had such a great time here! The house and dock were clean and are supplied with everything you could possibly need to have a spectacular stay. We kayaked every day and loved all the outdoor space. My dog had the time of his life. Josh was awesome—really flexible when my family ended up joining last minute, and just overall super easy to communicate with. We are already looking at open dates to go back this summer.

Private, secluded location right on Smith Lake in protected cove. Grandson caught a 2' catfish from the dock while we were there. Beautiful view of the lake from the living room. Easy, close access to the covered dock with paved stone path. Kitchen nicely stocked with essentials. Would rent from Margaux again.

Great location! We were able to boat to both Trident and Duncan Bridge Marinas. The views were gorgeous. Very quiet and peaceful. The house was clean and perfect for 6 adults (3 couples). Of note there were only 2.5 baths not 3.5 as listed. The two queen rooms share a Jack n’ Jill bathroom.

We really enjoyed our stay. The condo was very well done! It was comfortable, very clean and the view of the lake perfect. Daniel was very responsive to all our questions. If we are in the area again we Wouk’s definitely stay here again.

The house is beautiful, plenty spacious and very comfortable with everything needed. Clean, plenty of towels, stocked kitchen, comfortable beds. Lovely setting, and due to recent rain a beautiful waterfall coming off the hillside and running under the bridge as you come into the parking area of the house added to the experience. We were all comfortable and enjoyed the view of the lake. Still cool outside, so we didn’t swim, but it was a lovely place to get together with my family for a wonderful weekend! Certainly recommend and we will visit again!

A peaceful and quiet place for a restful get away…one of the most beautiful views on Smith Lake. Lynn was very responsive and provided all information needed prior to check-in.

Wonderful place to relax! The home is beautifully decorated and well equipped for a comfortable stay! Downstairs room is perfect for my teenagers And plenty of comfortable outdoor seating to enjoy the views and scenery! We will definitely be back! Cozy Lake Cottage is in a beautiful, peaceful location and it is close to my family. Coffee on deck overlooking the lake was the best! Thank you Morgan for sharing your cabin with us :)

The perfect getaway for our multi-family vacation! The property was not only beautiful inside and out, but so well equipped that everything from cooking to playing in the lake was made easy and enjoyable. We enjoyed the peddle boat, kayaks, lily pad, and reading by the lake on the many seating options on the decks and dock. The hosts were always responsive and friendly. We will absolutely be back!

Michelle was super responsive. We booked last minute and she went out of her way to decorate for Christmas even. House was amazing. Well stocked and felt very much at home. We enjoyed watching boats zoom by too. Thank you for a great stay!!!!

This wasn’t our first stay at the copper penny because we love the location and accommodations so much! Really feels like a home away from home. Katie is such a kind host who is always responsive when needed. We will be back and recommend for a nice peaceful getaway!

Very nice stay on Lewis Smith Lake. Great location with a very accommodating dock. House was very clean and had many amenities which made us feel right at home. Beds were very comfortable. Plenty of room for parking. Will definitely return if we are back in the area.

Everything about our stay here on the long weekend was perfect. The house is adorable and squeaky clean. The location is close to the Lakeshore Inn and Marina. The best part is the VIEW! You have a completely unobstructed view of the river and the surrounding forest. Stunning! Also, Lisa was a wonderful host. Communication was great. We cannot wait to stay here again!

Kimberly called prior to our check-in to make sure we had everything we needed before arriving and gave great instructions on entering the house. She was able to give great suggestions on restaurants to try and eat at while we were enjoying our stay on the lake. The house was very nice and plenty of room to accommodate a larger group. We traveled with 4 boats and 5 vehicles and had plenty of room for parking. Beautiful place and definitely recommend booking with Kimberly!

Beautiful area and scenery, plenty of room for 2 boats and 2 trucks. Rebecca was very good with communication. She let us know there were issues with the previous guest before we arrived. Luckily, we didn't arrive until later in the evening due to our long drive but everything was ready to go by the time we got there. I wish we could have stayed and enjoyed the peacefulness and the actual property, but we were there for a tournament and literally just slept and showered. Plenty of sleeping space for big crowds although the bunkbeds aren't the comfiest, they are bunkbeds and I've never known a bunkbed to be comfy lol Thank you for having us!

We enjoyed our stay. Peaceful and beautiful home. Our children enjoyed the convenience of the lake and there was plenty to do in the home (toys, board games, flat screens everywhere). The kitchen was great for cooking and grill worked fine. The location is excellent - 5 minutes to a grocery store. Definitely recommend staying here!!

Great host; very responsive. The home is like new and very clean. If you are looking for a romantic getaway or family trip and love nature this is the place for you! It is secluded, so make sure you bring spices and toiletries as there isn’t a store around to pick up anything you forget. The kitchen is well furnished w cooking utensils/pots/pans. Stunning views.

Great house and great host! Very spacious house and plenty of room indoor and outdoor for activities. Far enough from the town so you felt in a peaceful and private location with lake access. Close enough to the town if you needed to grab a bite or stop at the grocery store.

We had the best time at the lake house! Kevin was so pleasant to work with and always very responsive. The place was even more beautiful in person than in pictures.

This was perfect for a small getaway for our family. Close to grocery store and restaurants yet far enough away to feel secluded and very quiet. Plenty to do within the house. Owners really do provide everything you would need. We will definitely stay again and couldn’t recommend enough!
