We had the absolute best time staying here. We had two families staying together, 10 total. With more than enough space! The location was perfect. The space was clean and cozy. We had the best time and made some amazing memories with our friends. Also we slept at night on the third floor with a window opened and it was so quiet outside! Thank you for opening your home to us!

Perfect home for a weekend get away with friends! We have stayed at the Loft on the Knoll so many times, so we were super excited to rent the “big house” this time with our friends. Home was absolutely spotless and had everything we needed. Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, and those spices/things you always seem to forget when traveling. Basement was soooo cool with a ping pong table and corn hole boards. We were really happy to have two separate living areas since we were sharing with another couple. We each had our own space and did not have to worry about anything. We didn’t use the hot tub, but it was right there if we wanted to. We cannot wait to come back when the pool is open! Extra perk- seeing the cute baby goats! 10000% recommend!

Susan’s farm house was perfect for enjoying a relaxing getaway with plenty of space for multiple families and kids. All of the spices are very large and honestly it’s better in person than in the pictures. We would recommend it to anyone and return again! The kitchen was nicely stocked with everything you could need. And it was great being right on the winery.

Our family of four spent two nights at Callie's Cottage. We had a great time enjoying the trails, fishing the pond, and watching the horses. Our kids had a lot of fun playing in the treehouse. The house was cozy, clean and well appointed.

We had a wonderful stay. House located at the end of the street providing privacy but ease to get to. How was very cutely decorated and very comfortable with all amenities needed. Proactive and friendly communication from Johanna. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was clean, fun, and just what we needed! I loved that you could walk to everything, and the scenery and nature were beautiful! The beds were so comfortable. I would stay here again.

Absolutely a 5 star stay!! Super cozy home in a beautiful location with a great view. The home is stocked with everything you could need to feel right at home (and labeled, making things very easy to find!). Everything inside was also extremely clean and tidy. My friends and I would definitely book again for another girls weekend away.

This was our second time staying at Drennen Ridge! Trish and Mike made sure we had everything we needed before we arrived including age appropriate toys for our toddler and a pack and play for our 4 month old. Our toddler enjoyed spending time outside and we were comfortable throughout our stay. This is a very peaceful place with beautiful surroundings and we hope to stay again sometime!

I’ve been to wintergreen every year and Angela was very helpful and place was spectacular!

TDLR version: If you have a big group (more than 5) for a ski trip at Wintergreen, and are looking at places to stay, you better book this place fast because it won’t be there later. 100% worth it. No complaints at all. Longer review: This place had everything we expected and more. Big living room area for gatherings, pristine kitchen with huge counter and dining table. Appliances looked brand new as well. There’s a mudroom with a separate entrance to put all your board/ski gear in to keep the house clean. The back deck is very spacious, and the gazebo has a light under it for late nights outside. Internet worked great the whole stay as well. All in all, it felt like we were staying at resort lodging, while having a private host on speed dial. Gina was an amazing host, being very responsive, giving detailed yet not overly complicated instructions and rules for the house, and being understanding when problems arose. 12/10 would stay again.

Loved our stay with Jeremiah and Kim! The house was a home away from home where we were able to gather with our kids that are attending Liberty University. We made use of the various games in the living room and created some great memories. They provided everything that we could possibly need! Super comfy king bed in primary bedroom!

Conny's home was well stocked with all of the essentials. It was the best of all of the rental homes that we have rented. His home worked very well for the 6 of us, 3 adults and 3 children. Two of the children play ice hockey and it was just minutes away from both ice rinks. The location worked well for us, (grocery stores, restaurants, mall, theater, etc.), was so close by. Conny's home is at the top of our list. Conny responded quickly when we had any questions. We would defintely enjoy staying here again.

I offered five stars. There were a few tiny things that need attention—which happens when one’s property is being handled with a management company and not the owner unfortunately. We prefer more personal stay, but chose this property because of location. We do not regret it at all!!! We did notify the management company and they were quick to respond. Beds are perfection. Pillows are perfection. The space and view are perfection. Lots of water toys. We rented a boat and jet ski from across the water for two days, so the dock was AMAZING!!!!! We spent most of our time on the water. Would stay again.

This place is gorgeous! From the windows to the decor to the cool paintings and tapestries down to the dining chairs. The views were amazing. So much space for the kids to play in and lots to do for them. The host was super helpful and lovely. Sadly we (and many neighboring communities) did experience a power outage during our stay because of a crazy storm but even in those conditions they had a generator running power to certain parts of the house so our stay was still pleasant. 10/10 love this place and would love to come back.

We love Sarah’s home! This was our second time staying and it exceeded our expectations again! The house is spacious, clean, easy to find and overall just great. Top that with the amazing host that Sarah is and it makes for an incredible stay. Highly recommend this home!

We had a lovely stay in "The Small House" over President's day weekend. The house was spacious enough for 5 guests and our dog. Loved that it was decorated for Valentine's day! The house was well situated in the valley so there was easy access to Wintergreen, hiking trails and all the breweries and wineries!!

My family & I only stayed at the house for 1 overnight stay because we were attending a feneral in Covington VA. It was perfect for what we needed it for. The house is very clean, and the beds were comfortable. My family & I are considering renting it again in the warmer months, when we can enjoying the outdoor amenities. Joan was exceptionally nice. She allowed us to check-in early so we could relax & get dressed before attending the funeral. That was very appreciated by everyone after our long 7hr trip from Pennsylvania.

We had a great stay for a couples get away celebrating several birthdays! The house was clean, comfy beds, and plenty of space to gather and hang with friends. The location was convenient with a quiet, safe neighborhood. Thank you for hosting!

Sometimes an Airbnb is just a place to stay while you're away. THIS PLACE was a refreshing blessing that literally added to our trip! Having 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms allowed us to all stay comfortably together and yet in our own spaces. The owners have tried to anticipate whatever a guest may need and it was so appreciated. (For example, there is a high chair in the dining room and a baby changing area in one of the bedrooms. There are multiple USB charging ports throughout the house which were so convenient for charging devices! ) There were plenty of linens and the beds were extremely comfortable. Everything was impeccably clean and well cared for. The house was very relaxing to be in and truly felt like a home away from home. Thank You, Bob!!! :-)

This location was beautiful. It was located 30 minutes outside of Farmville. With 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 baths it was perfect for a large get together.

Our stay was awesome! The self check in was flawless. The place, along with the view is simply breathtaking. During our time there, snow was on the ground, deer was on the property (and I mean a lot!) every day, what else could you want. We were there for a family gathering, and I can say that Bruce’s place totally served that purpose. We had more than enough space, the accommodations were great. We also enjoyed the fireplace, and roasting marshmallows and s’mores at the fire pit. Overall, it was nice just to get away from the everyday hustle for a while. So I can honestly say that I was completely satisfied, because during my stay there, It totally served that purpose.
