After a last-minute cancellation with a different host, stumbling across 74 By The Sea (BTS) turned out to be the perfect - and even better alternative for my friends weekend trip! Tim and Hayley were super accommodating with our last-minute request and all our questions. Upon arrival, Hayley took the time to walk us through everything we needed to know. 74 BTS is a beautiful and spotless accommodation. If you’re a little OCD like me and my friends, you’ll have no issues feeling right at home. The house is beautifully presented and well-equipped for a family set-up. Thank you, Tim and Hayley, for being such great hosts and sharing your wonderful home - a second trip is 100% on the cards!

Had such a lovely time in this gorgeous house. The garden is huge and absolutely stunning with an amazing barbecue that was in pristine condition. The house is really well equipped and excellently located. The host was amazing and had provided lovely finishing touches around the house to make us feel so welcome. We couldn’t have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in Tim's lovely cottage. It's in a great location - just 1 minute's walk from the High Street and 4 or 5 minutes to the Harbour and beach, which was great for our small children! The cottage is beautifully appointed, clean and very well equipped. We loved exploring the shops, beach & Harbour and can recommend a boat trip - we went on the Vintage lifeboat tour. Tim responded swiftly & helpfully to any queries we had. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this lovely cottage!

We really enjoyed our stay at Nancy’s house. It was in the perfect location for us after arriving from France. It was clean and comfortable and everything we needed was provided for us. Nancy was very kind and flexible with arrangements. The area was quiet and we had a lovely walk through a park and past the allotments. Thank you Nancy, we would love to return.

We were a party of ten adults and one child staying at Martin’s home for the weekend. The property was superb, wonderfully decorated and fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The gardens were beautiful. We were lucky to be blessed with fabulous weather and made the most of it. We were also lucky to be visiting during lambing season. Watching lambs being born was quite an experience. I would highly recommend this property and hope to revisit again one day

Great accommodation which suited the needs of our group. Jo was an excellent host, and very responsive to messages. The hot tub was a brilliant extra which we enjoyed on the first night and felt like a real treat. Thanks Jo!

Deanna was a wonderful host, so friendly, helpful, responsive and accommodating - absolute pleasure to interact with. The house was terrific, in fact the description didn’t do it justice - fabulous. Perfect for a large group of people with everything you need. Clean, cosy and felt like home from home. My friends and I had a fantastic weekend. Would definitely recommend and go back.

Great little place with the star feature being the hot tub!! Was such a good space to unwind. Hosts were very communicative and would absolutely stay again:)

The apartment was easy to find with Lisa's accurate instructions. Beautiful apartment with a view of the sea, and immaculately clean with secure gated parking too. Great location for walking along the seafront with plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. Lisa's communication was excellent throughout and she went out of her way to check everything was perfect for us. A lovely apartment for a relaxing weekend away. Highly recommended.

Sea View is a comfortable flat which is in a perfect location for visiting family in the Southend area or exploring this part of Essex. The flat has a lovely view across to the River Thames estuary. The flat has two bedrooms with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen, a clean bathroom with hot shower and a comfortable lounge / dinning room. The flat is well equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. There is parking for a small car with off road free parking for something bigger. The flat is easy to access with clear instructions for the key pad and with using the heating etc. The flat is in a good location for many tourist attractions in the area and within walking distance of local shops, pubs and the shore line. Trevor is a very helpful host who provided lots of information and advice prior to our visit. He was very understanding when we reported an minor accident to a furnishing and we resolved the issue amicably. Thanks Trevor and our apologies.

Second stay at Wendy’s lovely apartment. The view from balcony,lounge & the bed is stunning. Will miss reading in bed & looking out to sea. There was work going on in the block & Wendy kept us informed and gave us the option to cancel after the usual time if we decided that the work would ruin our stay - it didn’t.. apartment super clean & comfortable. Coffee shop - Coast at the Granville theatre on the green opposite flat is great venue for coffee with a view. Lovely area, easy to get around walked most of the time but did get the Loop bus to Margate. If we come back to Ramsgate next year will definitely stay here again. Thank you Wendy.

I had lovely stay again, it's my go to place for when I visit Southend. The view from the balcony is the best part about this stay, whether it's sunny or raining it's still nice to look out of :) They've redecorated the living room since I last visited which looks really nice, it gives it a modern feel :) I'd highly recommend this place if you're in the area

We really loved the apartment. The facilities in the kitchen were excellent and there was a generous supply of tea and coffee pods. The view of the sea was super and the promenade was right on the doorstep. We did find access to the front of the property a little difficult due to the lack of a handrail and the height of the individual steps. We had two members of our party with limited mobility, who really struggled. Angela was able to arrange for us to use the rear access which did have a handrail. Perhaps a note about this should be added to the description. However we would visit again as we loved the area and the apartment.

Thanks Nic, we really enjoyed staying at your place ‘The Coastal Soul’, and loved being so close to the beach. It was just as you described it, very clean and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The tips in your house guide were also very helpful, the location was perfect and we enjoyed the walk along the coast to Reculver fort. We would absolutely recommend it and will definitely be back. The view from the balcony was wonderful, it was unobstructed with a magnificent view of Ramsgates Royal Harbour. I loved the original features in the place especially the wooden shutters which held so much history!

What an absolute gem of a place. Hands down the nicest Airbnb I’ve ever stayed in, beautifully styled (we all had home decor envy). Cannot recommend enough. Super comfortable, it has absolutely everything you need and more. Fantastic location. I hope we’ll be back…it’s too good not to be.

I recommend highly to anyway who is staying in the Thanet area! Beautiful place tucked away! With the beach jsut a 2 minute walk away.

Kirsty was a great host and extremely accommodating in terms of our requests! The flat its self is in a fantastic location which has wonderful facilities and a parking space. The views from the balcony are stunning especially at sunrise!! We highly recommend and cannot wait to book again

Wonderful stay, great Hosts, amazing views, everything you will need for a stay for the weekend or weeks at the sea! The view from the deck of this Airbnb is beyond compare! Just Watching the boats can absorb hours!
