Vitu’s place in Blantyre is very comfortable. Has everything you need for a great self- catering option. It’s a few kilometres outside the city and it’s worth while taking the name of a driver to get around. Vitu was easy going and happy to help with whatever I needed. All in all a good stay.

Loved everything about our stay. We were welcomed with fruits from the property garden. Andrew place will forever have a place in my heart. The place is a beautiful peaceful garden. The house is well kept with very clean bed and bathroom. Everything from the description match what you will get but better when you see the magical property garden.

We loved staying at Megan's place. She is an excellent host! The apartment and garden were beautiful comfortable and had anything we needed. Megan was proactive and responsive and even had a mechanic come to the property to help us with a car repair. We absolutely loved staying here.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The apartments and property are well-maintained. There is 24-hour security and several housekeepers on the property that were super helpful. Extra bonus: the property has a beautiful patio area where you can watch the sunset over Blantyre. The property provides coffee and creamer. Otherwise it is complete self-catering. You will likely need a car or take a taxi if you want to get groceries, eat at a restaurant, or do tourist things while visiting. The property is in a residential area. I will stay here again.

Our stay was very pleasant! We were greeted warmly by Annie and her family. The rooms were clean and well equiped, perfect for a retreat from the hustle and bustle of Blantyre. They were very helpfull with some laundry and even some cooking stuff! The garden is stunning as well, even though we didn't spend much time there due to the rain.

This place was absolutely perfect for what we needed! Georgina and her family were so welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. The house is clean and secure, and a good distance from Blantyre town centre. Would definitely recommend staying here, we are booked again for the next time we’re in Blantyre!

Excellent from start to finish. The room was just as described and the staff and owners were welcoming and very accommodating. The house also supplied an evening meal each night, which was delicious and met my needs. We highly recommend the accomodation. Staff was very nice and helpful, rooms clean and modern, the compound was well taken care of, the pool looked beautiful (unfortunately it was too cold to jump in there) and the view was incredible. Thank you very much for the pleasant stay. We will come back!

This was my second month-long stay - I really appreciate this lovely place just four doors down from the Kachione/solar4africa/Affordable Solar for Villagers' workshop where I volunteer. The other guests - mostly medical interns with long-term rental agreements - were interesting people. The Camp Henry staff: Adi, Martha, Ruth and Wycliff, are thoughtful and kind. I look forward to the completion of the back guest house, which will add further options for guest accommodations.

Excellent place to stay in a quiet and calm location. Fantastic value for money with a delicious cooked breakfast and comfortable room. The hosts were very helpful and friendly. I'll definitely stay again during my next visit to Blantyre

Jonathan and his wife Maggie were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and accommodating, they really made me feel like a part of the family. Furthermore, Jonny is a great contact for tourism around Malawi. Would highly recommend staying here.

Ramamara Guesthouse. A little home away from home.

Gladys's home provided the much need rest, comfort and security needed after lots of traveling. I was visiting physician coming to support teaching at the medical college. Gladys's home was close to the university as well as other fun and tasty restaurants such as Millie's Bakery and Mijn Kitchen. Gladys was able to assist with making travel arrangements around town. She was also kind to check in on power availability during black outs and checked on me often to make sure I was ok, safe and comfortable during Cyclone Freddy. Her home is very clean, has a self catering kitchen, and back up power. A perfect place to stay long or short term. Highly recommend.
