Absolutely beautiful place to stay! Mary was one of the best hosts we have had. She is very friendly, easy to communicate with and proactive with things she feels will be helpful. She left us the cutest decorated sugar cookies when we arrived, there were ton of breakfast options when we stayed and she even let us feed the cows while we were there. Her home is beautiful and extremely clean. The beds were probably the most comfortable beds we’ve slept on away from home. Located just a short drive from Waco it was easy to run into town and do the things we wanted and then come back to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. I would absolutely recommend staying here. Hopefully we will be able to stay again the next time we come to Waco.

Can I give 10 stars instead? Seriously, one of the best places we have stayed in. ON THE WATER, with a great boat dock. Everything you need plus more! Very clean, very comfortable, STARLINK internet, plus so much more. And host was absolutely FANTASTIC as icing on the cake.

Great place to stay for our fishing tournament. Boys are already talking about coming back next year!

Cabin on the Creek was wonderful! We spent the whole time fishing, on the boat, grilling, cooking and just relaxing! Lavonne and Marty were so responsive and helpful! We would absolutely recommend and would love to go back!

Great place , clean and well stocked kitchen.

Super cozy tiny home very well decorated and even had toothbrushes ready which came in really handy as well as other basic household items. Location was great had a fun time just shooting down cans in the back yard from the porch and enjoying the hot tub, going for a walk and enjoying the constant sounds of birds which never got old. Would definitely stay again.

Great family getaway. Something for everyone. From the fishing, exotic animals, pool table, shuffleboard and the great outdoors. The tour behind the high fence to see the wildlife was great for the kids. The place was well stocked with all the necessities. I think we could have shown up with just our clothes and water (as recommended) and we would have had everything we needed there. The wild game meat was a great surprise for the outdoor lovers of the group. Highly recommend for families who want to spend time without all the electronic distractions that come with life these days.

We really enjoyed our stay! Beautiful place! Well equipped for large groups, clean and spacious! Love the private setting on the lake and surrounding acreage!
