Rain ecolodge was extremely beautiful, I had a super relaxing stay and would go again 12 out of 10 stars

Vibe única aleada ao espaço🙏 Recomendo vivamente para quem quer meditar nas primeiras horas da manhã olhando para os colibris, descansar no terraço após ter feito vários trilhos ali por perto, desfrutar dos sons das centenas de aves e das paisagens envolventes, conhecer as experiências de vida das pessoas que por lá passam, tomar um bom banho a 2 minutos num trilho privado na ribeira. Simplesmente local único que eu vivamente recomendo a 200%.

Manoas was by far the best place we stayed during our trip to Costa Rica! Not only were the tents huge, clean and comfortable but the staff went above and beyond to help us with everything Steve was great at communicating and gave us some recommendations for a local tour company before we arrived as well as directions to the property. The campsite is 10-15 mins drive from the Ballena national park and there are supermarkets on the main road before entering the road up to the campsite (you will need 4 x 4) Upon check in we were assisted with our laundry and I asked if there was somewhere to get hot water (for our baby) and they found us a kettle to use in our room. We were also placed in a private spot and near the restaurant which was thoughtful The tents were amazing! The bed was huge and the bathroom was lovely and clean! There was a mini fridge, plates and glasses so it was easy to eat lunch on the surrounding balcony The restaurant serves a 3 course meal for 20 dollars per person which is well worth it as the food is spectacular and you won’t get a more beautiful setting. Breakfast is huge and tasty and 10 dollars per person too. The campsite has a lovely pool, a walk to the river for swimming and a lagoon to visit. The cicada are amazing-we have never heard them so loud and using an app on our phone measured them to be around 70-80 decibels during the day! They quietened at night and the gentle noise helped our baby sleep as it acted like white noise. In the early hours of the morning we heard howler monkeys which was eerie but amazing I could say so much more about this amazing place but think it is best experienced. Definitely the place to stay in Uvita!

Jon's place was a dream. The apartment is beautiful, nestled in gardens in the jungle. The location is so scenic, with an incredible view of the ocean from the deck. There's a lovely yoga shala that we loved practicing in. The kitchen is well stocked, and we loved cooking every night. The bedroom, bathrooms and whole house is very clean. We felt right at home. Jon is a welcoming, kind and fantastic host. He let us use the yoga shala and deck as much as we wanted, and even gave us rides into town when he could. We felt very safe and comfortable, which was a big deal to my partner and I, as we are a queer couple. We already miss our new friend! The apartment is located about 45 minutes up a steep mountain road. I didn't read the listing carefully, so I thought it was a bit closer to the beaches of Dominicalito. Even with the blisters from all the walking, we had absolutely no regrets though! We just wished we'd rented a car. Learn from us 😂

Casa Colibri makes you feel at home and part of nature! From the birds, butterflies, path to the river and amazing lower terrace and swimming hole, it's simply amazing! Walking distance to Chirripo park and trailhead, Cloudbridge and Talamanca, you are steps away from great hikes, clear mountain rivers and pools, and wildlife everywhere. You will love it!

If you want to have a getaway with some of the best views imaginable, this is the place to be! Jon is an excellent host and his home is beautiful, spacious, but most of all, truly tranquil. This was an amazing stay and hope to be back very soon!!!

This is “”THE” place if you are looking for living amidst nature, woken up by birds chirping and howls of the howler monkeys, to have the sounds of a flowing stream as your companion coupled with superlative customer services! It can become a little hot and humid in the tents during the day in rainy seasons but gets better by evening and night! We would love to be back!

Posizione tranquilla, splendida vista. In mezz’ora si arriva al Vulcano Irazu. Avrei preferito una cucina più fornita vista la lontananza dai ristoranti. In complesso un’ottima esperienza!

Muy recomendado para pasar un fin de semana lejos de la ciudad, mucha paz, privacidad y el sonido del río es increíble. Puntos extra por la piscina natural.

San Agustín es hermoso, amamos conocer el lugar, la cabaña es muy acogedora, con unos amaneceres llenos de neblina perfectos para tomar café en la terraza de arriba con vistas al cafetal.

Campo Alegre is exactly what comes to mind when I think about the perfect Airbnb experience. Luis was a great communicator before we arrived and throughout our stay. The photos do not do the location justice! Waking up in such a peaceful place, greeted by goats, and then watching the clouds lift and reveal the spectacular view was an amazing way to enjoy the first morning of our trip. Luis prepared a delicious breakfast for my family and everything was either from his farm or bartered with a neighbor who produced it. What a special meal!! Accommodating my family’s vegan diet was no issue either. Then Luis took the time to show us around his farm and tell us about the different plants and animals he has there. The biodiversity was impressive and Luis’ knowledge and enthusiasm for his work showed. With sustainable practices such as recycling gray water, composting toilets, and ultra local food, you can feel great about helping the planet while traveling without sacrificing comfort.

From the moment I arrived, I was very well taken care of. The place is superb, clean and warm. The staff is extraordinary and very caring, which made me feel at home. The view is simply magnificent, and the food… a big WOW! An unforgettable experience that I recommend without hesitation!🌿🧘‍♀️🗿

The stay at Finca d’Elia was very peaceful. I felt right at home with Jose Arturo and his lovely family who all go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and happy. This is also an ideal place to be if you do not want to be near crowds and loud areas. The grounds of the house are extensive and offer various activities (pool, nature walk in the dense jungle where you can hear howler monkeys, reading areas). Meals are very tasty - home cooked by Jose Arturo’s mother, and his father even taught me how to make a delicious ceviche. I will be back!

I really enjoyed staying with marleene , its a real jungle staying, sooo beautiful and special, we had great talks with the other guests, we made delicious organic food , its in a middle of forest and so quiet and cool thank u marleen

La cabaña es acogedora, tiene una linda vista a la montaña y un río, se siente muy tranquilo y en medio de la naturaleza, la muchacha que nos recibió muy amable, quedamos con ganas de volver más y hospedarnos más días, si vas en carro bajo lo mejor es seguir las indicaciones del host y dejarlo abajo para no maltratarlo subiendo a la cabaña, la zona se ve segura.

Giselle est une personne chaleureuse qui a été attentive et prévenante, toujours prête à aider si nécessaire dans l'organisation d'activités, vous appeler un bateau-taxi qui arrive en 5 minutes. Une jolie immersion dans la forêt. Les bungalows sont confortables. Bon petit-déjeuner typique.

Brett was incredibly attentive and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. He even offered to pick things up for us and drive us to the other side of town. This spot is super cozy and perfect for bird watching.
