Absolutely perfect peaceful getaway! Beautiful surroundings, plenty of space to walk with the dogs. Perfect place to curl up with a book and read to my heart's content. big bonus that there is no cell phone signal. Spacious and fully equipped. Very pet-friendly!

Our stay was very nice. The house is well set-up and everything was working. We had a waterleak on the farm during our stay and luckily backup provision for water came in very handy. The game viewer made our trip very special.

What an incredible experience. My children were absolutely made up. This was an experience they will never forget. They had a true African experience, from beautiful sunsets to being surrounded by a range of animals at all times. Abel and the staff were amazing and always happy to help.

We loved staying on the farm- such beautiful forests, a lake to swim in and a short walk to pick blueberries and have tea at a café.

we have been back a few times. Great value and awesome spot to enjoy the bush, lots of animals including zebra, a mongoose family, kudu, warthog , bush babies etc this is a favourite spot of ours, which is well worth the visit. very reasonable pricing with great verandah - pool - aircon and great hosts

Tolle Unterkunft, ruhige Lage, alles sauber, sehr privat, schöner sauberer Pool, Highlight sind die Tiere die bis zum Haus kommen. Anton der Housekeeper ist immer erreichbar, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Die Unterkunft ist etwas schwierig zu erreichen, keine befestigte Straße, sehr holprig, aber auch mit einem Citroen C3 Ziel irgendwie erreicht. Würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

An absolutely fantastic getaway! The Bungalow exceeded all expectations and provided the perfect escape from the city. The natural hot spring was undoubtedly the highlight—soaking in the 50°C mineral-rich water under the stars was an unforgettable experience. The property is beautifully secluded, offering complete privacy with stunning riverfront views, mountain scenery, and an abundance of birdlife. It’s the ideal place to relax, disconnect, and enjoy nature at its finest. The bungalow itself has a unique rustic Mediterranean-African charm, blending effortlessly with the natural surroundings. The braai and pizza oven were great additions, making outdoor cooking a pleasure. We also appreciated the fast WiFi, which worked even when there were temporary power trips (to clarify—there was no load shedding during our stay). A standout experience was the magical three-course meal Schalk arranged for us atop one of the nearby mountains.

Absolutely & most probably the best stay in Marloth especially for a big family of 8. The place has very good space and all the animals come to the porch the entire day. Close by where all the water pools and slides and Spar is. Aircons always working even with loadshedding on a hot day the aircons just makes it breeze to be inside. Good wifi even for online gaming. Definitely worth every penny! Thank you Zakira for all your excellent service & hospitality!

Where do I even begin to review my stay with Tracey & Bernard. The location was so incredibly beautiful and private. However, I had the safety of a secure fence and Tracey & Bernard’s house behind the Airbnb. The home has everything you could need for your stay. The kitchen is well appointed for cooking and baking. And even AC and covered parking. The hosts could not have been more helpful and responsive with local spots to visit, a friendly chat, and delightful goodies on arrival. Not to mention that Bernard came and rescued me when my car broke down and got my daughter to her job the next morning since I couldn’t drive the car. They went so far above and beyond! You will not be disappointed with this booking. The location is ideal, the home is super clean, the grounds are lush and beautiful. You will be awoken to beautiful sunrises and birds chirping. And have delightful hosts. Truly everything an Airbnb should be and more! Thanks again Tracey & Bernard!

We loved it so much! The place is beautiful and things that we really find important like quality beds and a Hot shower with good pressure makes it so much enjoyable! It was peaceful and we would love to take our extended family there soon. We loved our game drive inside the place too that just made it extra special. Thank you Peter and Staff for hosting us, our only regret was only booking 2 days, it should have been more!

My time at Barn Own was indescribable. The lodge is beautiful, well kept and clean, and the location is incredible. Each day we lay by the pool and watched animals walk by - a relaxing and enjoyable swim it was. Nicolette was so helpful, responsive and an amazing host. I would highly recommend staying here - totally worth the money!

Die Unterkunft von Sue ist eine besondere Perle für Menschen, die Natur und Tiere möglichst nah erleben wollen. Das wunderschöne Cottage ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat eine Außenküche auf der Veranda. einfach herrlich! Sue lebt direkt nebenan im Haupthaus und ist eine ganz besonders freundliche Gastgeberin, die ihr Leben im Busch sehr genießt. Jede Frage wurde umgehend beantwortet. Da es viel geregnet hat, hat Sue uns auf der Rückfahrt begleitet, bis wir sichere Straßen erreicht haben. Denkt daran spätestens in Brits einzukaufen, denn dies ist die letzte Möglichkeit. Von dort ist es eine Stunde Fahrzeit bis ins Cottage. Es war eine große Freude, Sue kennengelernt zu haben!

The place is stunning! It was very safe and secure. Would highly recommend. The pool was beautiful and they even provided pool side towels. Alida and Irene were extremely friendly and welcoming.

We really loved our stay. The house is clean & spacious, great amenities and fresh linen & awesome coffee machine. Sindy that comes in daily was a bonus. The games room was good entertainment for the kids! Very convenient to have a well equipped upstairs braai room, especially on the rainy days. I will surely recommend this house!

I booked Genet House Holiday Home for my family, and they had an amazing stay! They loved the spacious and well-designed house, and the wildlife roaming nearby made it even more special!!! Andy was fantastic hosts, making them feel welcome. The check-in was seamless, and the location was perfect—peaceful yet close to Kruger. This is a fantastic place to stay. Very quiet, peaceful surroundings and the accommodation is top notch. Ulani was very responsive to all our questions and personally welcomed us. The location is very safe and secure which gave us great peace of mind. Their local restaurant at Nabana Lodge was very convenient with a good selection in their menu, good food...and wonderful staff. The location is close to attractions such as Blyde River Canyon, Bourke's potholes, God's Window, Pilgrims rest and of course Kruger National Park. We would highly recommend.

The reception staff was absolutely wonderful. Mr. Ayn was helpful and had a nice personality and was available around the clock. The place met all requirements, in addition to the fact that the place was very beautiful, the nature was stunning, and the accommodation was very comfortable. We had a fantastic weekend at Kigelia. The house was absolutely beautiful, picturesque, tranquil and so comfortable. We felt like we were somewhere much further than an hour out of JHB. It was an absolute treat and the landscaping is magic! Thank you to Talitha and her team for making us feel right at home & for being so helpful! Highly recommend.

What a beautiful time we had with family The host was super responsive, lovely and friendly. We had everything we needed for the trip . The cleaning ladies were so lovely and helpful. We had the place cleaned everyday and our fire wood topped up . I would recommend this home to anyone thinking of having a peaceful, private, beautiful stay .
