We had an amazing time at Barbara's property! Everything was as described, the pool table was super fun, the beds were comfortable, the waterfront was great, the dog was so excited for her check-in treat and having the firestick TV was great for evening watching. Although we are from Maine and have been to the Boothbay area before, we fell in love with Edgecomb and Damariscotta. Thank you so you for a great stay!

Deanne’s place was wonderful and cozy. We stayed in the lower flat, the Captain’s Quarters. The entire place was spotless. The kitchen had full sized appliances and everything needed to cook our own meals. Bed and pillows very comfortable. The washer and dryer came in handy. Location is central for walking to everything in Bar Harbor. Deanne’s instructions were clear and made access super easy. Would highly recommend staying there.

We absolutely loved staying at the Come Spring apartment! The place was clean, stocked with amenities and necessities, and optimally located. Ruthie was attentive and caring, and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot for our stay!

We recently stayed at Laura’s place with a group of 8 for a wedding, and it was absolutely perfect! The house was spotless, and the setup was ideal for our group. Laura was an amazing host—so friendly, communicative, and always ready to help with any questions we had. The entire experience exceeded our expectations, and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay. Highly recommend this wonderful home!

Cozy retreat, close to Damariscotta, Pemaquid, Waldoboro, Round Pound, and New Harbor. Great host recommendations for local activities and restaurants. Comfy place to relax after a busy day.

Helen and Jeff are wonderful hosts; the perfect blend of hospitality and respect for guests' privacy. Their farm is home to Highland cattle, sheep, geese, ducks and chickens with the odd bantam chicken weaving in and out. The farmhouse is flanked by a lovely flower garden and a large pond with a beaver dam which can be enjoyed from the nearby deck. The guest house is an airy, open timber frame structure with lots of space to spread out and relax in. Beds a very comfortable and all necessary supplies are included for a perfect stay. The farm is in a great location - rural and private but central to many local attractions and nature trails. We stayed for 6 nights and had a wonderful time!

Super cool space, artistically decorated, and comfortable for the two of us and our senior dog. The kitchen has a great layout for a small space, and was really fun to cook in. We hope to return soon!

Sumner's place could not have been more convenient, making everything in downtown Damariscotta easily walkable. It was cozy, neat, and comfortable. There is even a river view. The parking spot is tight for a full-sized SUV (with winter snowbanks) but not a real issue. We hope to visit again.

A charming one-bedroom apartment in this antique family home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils and cleaning supplies. It is located on Main Street in the center of the friendly village, so you can easily walk to everything. The bathroom is shared with one other apartment, but that is not unusual accommodation on Monhegan Island. Remember to bring your own linens as they are not included.

We had a great stay at Patrick's. The location is perfect for exploring Gardiner. We caught a show at the Johnson Opera House which is across the street and had a couple of great meals which were both within walking distance. Parking out back was easy and free. The space was as described. A little quirky (the kitchen sink doubles as the bathroom sink, which was fine, but quirky). Very spacious and welcoming and nicely appointed with local crafts and art, which we appreciated. We didn't cook, but the kitchen would work well for a small meal. There's a counter top oven and an electric hot plate with two burners. Overall, it was a great spot. Perfect for catching a concert or other downtown Gardiner event. Look forward to coming back sometime.

Winter Wonderland. Two of us spent 9 days during Christmas week (2024) to avoid peak summer crowds and what a gem of an airbnb and the winter BBH community overall. 5 Breakfast, lunch and dinner restaurants all within 100 feet or les walk. Plenty more places 10 minute walk away. Most restaurants close by 8 or 9pm. Getting to know the locals is easy, helpful and can be fun afterhours for more eating and libations !!! Gardens Aglow is a lighted botanical walk thru garden spectacular you can't miss ... closes Jan 1. Purchase tickets days in advance. Alison has a beautiful store on street level (17 stairs down deck from rental unit). A great place for winter relaxation. Stay inside watch some TV, cook your own meals and relax then head out for dinner. We're coming back but during winter :) Can only imagine summer on the deck with views.

The place was amazing, such a great find! The hosts laid out check-in and check-out instructions very clearly and offered an abundance of amenities to make our stay more enjoyable. They offered toiletries, tide pods, cooking spices, coffee, books- the list could really go on and on. It really felt like a home away from home! Thank you to our wonderful hosts, we hope to visit again!!

We loved this place. It's nestled right against the woods, so morning coffee on the stoop was perfect. It's spacious and had everything we need, and was just minutes from downtown Boothbay Harbor. Such a peaceful and lovely place - we'd love to go back!

Mary gave clear and timely instructions. The apt was neat and well appointed. The location was close to town , so very convenient. We enjoyed our stay as the apt was comfortable and clean, would return on our next trip to Boothbay. Highly recommend this location to other guests .

The location was right in the center of town so you can walk everywhere. We really enjoyed the rooftop/hot tub.

We had a fantastic time in Boothbay Harbor! It was our first time there and the hotel and staff were great! The location was wonderful and all the shops and restaurants were within walking distance. We plan on returning again soon!

My Daughter and I stay at Andrea's often for a get away. We love it there and would definitely recommend the rooms and apt. to anyone!!!

We loved the pool side room. Very clean and private. The accommodation exactly what was described. They provided a charcoal grill upon request so we were able to grill out and enjoy the yard. Hope to take advantage of this gem again in the future.

Cute and cozy spot!

Just wanted a quick getaway for a night and have looked at this place a few times. The location is perfect for walking to the local night life, with a beautiful view of the Kennebec. The fragrance was not my kind of smell-not bad but certainly couldn’t miss it. I did see mention that she would turn it off ahead of your visit, if requested, and I would recommend if you have any sensitivity to smells.

this exceeded my expectations in every way. The view was absolutely spectacular. this space was clean and exactly what we needed. it was centrally located to downtown area. and had a better view than from most of the other places in town. it was an excellent value for what we paid. we we didn't end up trying the restaurant but it seemed very busy with people the whole time we were there. Great off-season location. not all the restaurants in the area are open but will definitely go again and enjoyed everything we did.
