We had a fantastic stay at Luanne's! The house is in a good location, about 10 min to downtown Boothbay Harbor. The property is beautiful with a great view of the water. The bedroom and bathroom setup worked well for us, since most bedrooms had access to its own bathroom. Everything was clean, appliances and grill worked. Luanne was very responsive to any questions and issues. Renters should note that there is a guest cottage/converted garage on the property, just about 15 feet away from the main house, and this cottage is also rented out. The property is essentially shared between the two houses. It did not become an issue during our stay, but we were cognizant that there may be another car coming up the driveway when the dogs and kids were out in the yard and it did make the property feel less private. Overall, would recommend Luanne's for a great stay close to Boothbay.

What a lovely stay we had. The weather couldn't have been nicer. Emily's place is immaculate and very comfortalbe. Lighting was great for puzzling on the kitchen island. Wood stove was extremely efficient and provided a warm and cozy atmosphere. We've already booked our next stay! Can't wait to come back!

Debi has an adorable, little cozy cabin that we enjoyed for a short getaway. Easy drive into nearby towns, with plenty of shops and restaurants to choose from. Debi’s place was clean, well stocked, and easy for check in/out. She provided great local suggestions, both for things to do and restaurants that could accommodate food allergies. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a delightful stay at this cozy, clean and comfortable home. The home was functional, well designed and had a great kitchen for cooking/gathering and was exceptionally well stocked. It was peaceful there with beautiful scenery where we spent many hours just relaxing and enjoying the surroundings. Didn't go far from the house except to go for a cold water swim on Walker Beach which Samantha directed us to. We walked to the Olsen House/surrounding fields & down to the working wharfs where we were greeted by staff who shared information about the fishermen and sold us lobsters freshly caught. It was very hard for each of us to leave !! But, we left with fun memories and hopes to return one day. Thank you Samantha for being such a great host. The cottage was cozy, clean and comfortable. Peaceful surroundings, can see the ocean and inlet with the lobster boats leaving and bringing in their catches, the location was perfect for day trips to other surrounding towns. We met Susan and her sweet dog, she was very nice and friendly, had suggestions of places to see , do and restaurants in the area. Overall it was a wonderful experience, would definitely recommend.

Absolutely heavenly stay in this authentically Ocean Point home. My family has been visiting Ocean Point for 40 years now and this house is so recognizable to us: it is absolutely a centerpiece of the coastal landscape, and we felt overjoyed to be able to stay there. There’s plenty of space for a family to gather, uninterrupted views, and all the charm of objects gathered over the history of the home. Thank you to Wendy for being such an excellent hostess!

Great location on Back River. short drive to wiscasset and groceries. Fun to sit and watch the tides.

Sitting looking out over the bay on a cold early March morning with the fire going was just the type of relaxation we were looking for. The photos don't do it justice. Had fun using the hot tub but just a little too chilly to use the outside fireplace, but Mihai had stocked the wood pile should we have been brave enough. Mihai lives right next door but you'd never know unless you needed him. We didn't. Everything worked. Clean, comfortable and tastefully furnished. A lot of thought has gone into renovating this house and it shows in the amenities. The only advice we'd give fellow travelers is the spiral stairwell leading upstairs to 2 of the 3 bedrooms is the smallest I've ever seen. Thought should be given to bringing small children. The master bedroom is on ground level. Otherwise enjoy. It's a magical place and we thank Mihai for being such a gracious host.

Our stay was perfect! The view of the lake was absolutely beautiful! Everything was in working order and our stay was effortless! Thank you so much!
