The house is beautiful and well maintained. It has a blender and coffee grinder, we brought our own because at a different home through Airbnb those were not available so we were very excited. The kitchen has all the pots and pans you could ask for, which was great because we did cook a lot at home for our big family. The walk to the beach was great, there's a trail with trinkets along the way. I did mention to the host that it would be great to list other beach access because we had a couple days of rain and the beach access from the house was muddy and slippery but still a great location. There are other nearby beach accesses that made getting to the beach even safer. We loved staying at this house and look forward to staying here again. The neighborhood is full of vacation rentals and it's quiet and serene. We felt welcomed and safe.

Our family stayed for two nights and had a blast watching movies, playing games and walking on the beach. House has a beautiful view of the bay and the bridge. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked.

This house is old and quirky but so well kept and very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. Private beach access was great. And the view!! The view is absolutely incredible, from the living room and the bedroom. That was the best part of our whole trip! We loved staying here and would definitely come again. Oh and an added bonus - the restaurant right next door has great food, beer, and coffee!

The condo is in great condition and was very comfortable for our 2 night stay. It’s walking distance to the aquarium but we ended up driving due to the weather. The views are amazing and we spent a lot of time just watching the river. We didn’t cook any meals this trip but the kitchen is very nice. Overall our stay was phenomenal and we would definitely stay again when we’re in the area.

Paul’s place was amazing! It was exactly as described in the listing and the photos. It was incredibly clean and comfortable. Paul is an extremely generous host and provides a well stocked, super clean, comfortable, place with a perfect location. You are literally at the beach. He was very responsive and helpful for any questions that we had and we felt at home and welcome with our little dog as well.

I really enjoyed being here. I am a fifth generation Oregonian and I know what it’s like to find places at the beach. This charming little place was extremely clean. And looked like it had recently been painted. It was very peaceful and quiet there. The fireplace was awesome and actually heated the living space quite adequately.I must’ve missed it, but I wasn’t aware that there were actually three bathrooms in the cottage. Really great place I would stay here again.

Wow wow wow! Felt right at home! 🐚 We are frequent visitors and speaking for my entire family of 9 I can say this was the best stay we have ever had in LC! — The home had the coziest features that were accommodating to every age. It was stocked with everything that we could possibly need to enjoy our stay; ie. binoculars for whale watching, family games for rainy days, spices for cooking, plenty of towels and linens, patio hose for washing sand off, kids high chairs, and q-tips (lol). The icing on the cake was the written list of where we could find everything in the home. — Our host Mandi was so kind and great with communication. — We were able to read about the history of the home and got to experience love in everything we touched. Thank you! Can’t wait to come back! 🧜🏻‍♀️

Brianne was so responsive and accommodating. The house was cozy and comfortable and had all of the comforts of home. We woke up to a family of deer right outside the window. The view was spectacular. Our dogs were welcome and that was the most important thing for us. The local restaurants were so good. It was an awesome trip and we plan to return.

This is a really cool house in a really beautiful neighborhood, and just a short walk to the beach. We immediately felt very welcome by Matthew’s correspondence and proactive communication. Then, once in the house, it was comfortably furnished, tall ceilings. And just very cozy. Our kids enjoyed playing in the park across the street, and of course the nearby beach. There were 7 of us total, and the house was just right. The drive down to Newport really isn’t that far, and is beautiful in itself. We appreciated the quality of the home, place and Matthew’s responsiveness. We would happily rebook, and recommend.

Gorgeous condo with an incredible oceanfront view. Spotless unit with everything you need to relax and enjoy the coast. We’d love to come back!

This is a great place, I’ve stayed twice. Love the onsite parking, hot tub on the balcony, kitchen with everything needed. It’s very close walk to the beach, about a block away. Activity room only has a pool table and TV, would be cool to see another pool table or shuffle board added.

Wonderful house for us and kids to spend the weekend relaxing.

This home was very well stocked and fit 2 families very comfortably. The beach is just a step away and the back deck has great sunset views. Fantastic location!

We had a great time visiting Newport and staying in Richard condo. The ocean view was amazing, and the studio save was just right for the two of us. The street is full of fun shops and casual restaurants. Even though my spouse’s fishing trip was cancelled due to weather, I did get a bike ride in, and we had lots of fun. Thank you!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving at the Heron House! The location was great - walking distance to town and to a small beach at the mouth of the river. The beds were comfortable and the kids had a fun time trying out the various sleeping nooks. The kitchen had everything we needed for our Thanksgiving meal. We even got in a round of tennis at the nearby courts. Wish we had visited in the summer to swim in the river. Would definitely stay again!

Great place to stay and beautiful view of the beach, everything was clean and as listed. Easy walk down to beach. Only “complaint” which has nothing to do with the place itself is there where some kids being very loud and noisy at times stomping above us but other than that it was an amazing stay and highly recommended!

Jonah was great to work with, very quick to respond and resolve when any issues came up. Will stay again.

Honestly an unbelievable location to be right on the water. The best place we’ve stayed at yet - plus everything was well supplied and clean and you have a binder of information and instructions to help with exploring and enjoying the stay. Duke was incredibly responsive and helpful if we had any questions. Highly recommend !!!

Our mixed generation family loved the house. So much room for different activities. Lots of different sitting areas. Good beds. We didn’t use the little house. Had more than enough room in the big house for the 10 of us. Kitchen is very well equipped, many specialty appliance, nice choice of coffee makers. Lots of spices and condiments. Dining table sat the 10 of us. Deck had many chairs and tables. Loved having the hot tub with a view. Grandkids loved all the games upstairs.

Jerry's home was perfect for us. My 14 year old granddaughter took the loft bedroom with its own bathroom. She felt like the queen of the house. My daughter and I each had a comfy bedroom on the main floor...no extra stairs for us. The house has so many cute beach decorations and was well stocked with everything we needed. The ocean view was terrific. Thank you Jerry. I would definitely stay here again!

Second time we’ve stayed here and planning to come back again. Comfortable house close to the beach.

We had 4 couples stay at Cindy's home for a nice relaxing weekend. The home was lovely and comfortable. There was plenty of room for 4 couples to stretch out or hang out together. Beautiful and peaceful setting. A short walk down the street to the beach public access. Cindy was very helpful and communicative. We would definitely return and stay again.

Our family had the most relaxing vacation staying at this rental! Waking up next to the waves every morning was a treat we all felt grateful for. Our daughter is in a wheelchair and this is one of very few rentals available that had accommodations that fit our needs. It worked so well for her and made travel easy for us. It was well stocked and so cozy! Everything about it was just perfect! We cannot wait to make this a yearly vacation!
