We walked in and the Christmas tree lights were on and Christmas music was playing. It was lovely. It's a beautiful home and very cozy. Having a bedroom and full bath downstairs makes a difference for many of us (young and older) who may have trouble navigating the stairs to the second floor. This location is nice and quiet yet close to all the essentials. I spoke with Dottie before our stay and she was very nice, helpful, and informative. Thank you again Dottie! The farmhouse was very cozy! We appreciated how accommodating Natalia was when we had a change of number of guests. The chickens were so friendly and fresh eggs for breakfast were the top of the cake! Highly recommend staying and if we find ourselves back in the area we will be again! Thank you so much Natalia for an amazing stay experience!

Such a magical, historical and peaceful place. It was nice seeing Acadia but we couldn’t wait to get away from the crowds and back to the quiet of this beautiful place. Thank you Brady!

Wonderful, warm, spacious and comfortable home in a great location. Christina was super responsive and accommodating when we asked for flexibility on check in time. Lovely home, great host - we hope it will be available so we can stay there again when we return next year.

It's a great house with thoughtful touches like snacks, motion-sensitive lights under a kitchen cabinet for navigating at night, and windows blinds that automatically open slowly. The recliner built into the sofa is quite comfortable (I dozed off in it :-). The place is in a quiet neighborhood and conveniently located near the bike path, so I could walk to the university. I could also walk to the nearby grocery store. I would definitely stay here again.

This home was very private and quiet. Any questions I had during my stay were quickly answered. I loved that the pellet stove was on when I arrived and it was easy to use. I went through a few bags of pellets that were provided. The bed was so comfortable. Ashley had cotton and flannel linens on the bed and it was very cozy. I slept so well. The WiFi was excellent. I opted to work for the week at the dining room table, so I could be by the pellet stove (it was in the single digits, with a foot of fresh snow on the ground, when I was there), but there’s a very functional desk in the bedroom too, with a lovely view outside. Speaking of snow, the storm hit on my third night and Ashley checked with me the day before to make sure I had everything I needed and suggested extra water in case the power went out. I didn’t lose power, but I was relaxed, knowing I was prepared. She even left out dog bowls and a towel for my pup! Great stay!

Beautiful place and great host. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away for a weekend.

I only wish we had more time to stay! Our family loves the peace and quiet of the countryside vs. being in a hotel with numbers of other people, along with our service dog. This place was perfect! Very homey, had all the amenities you could need, and did I mention there were horses you could see right out of the kitchen window??? We are horse people, and our dog Hiram is obsessed with the big “weird looking dogs” aka horses; so this was an added bonus! The hosts were very thoughtful and left us muffins, communicated super fast and very easy to deal with! If we need to stay in the area again we will be booking here for sure!

Had a great stay at Carols! We loved meeting the horses and Carol’s sweet dog. The home was cozy and perfect for the snowy weekend we stayed. Would love to return!

Ryan was very helpful! The place was great very clean, beds were comfortable, hot tub was fresh and clean! Will definitely book through Ryan again! I recommend him 10/10.

This place is so great. It is exactly like the photos, but I think even despite that the listing doesn't quite capture how huge this house is. It seems pretty well insulated, also, so despite us having a decent sized group, it never felt crowded or loud. There's so many nooks and crannies to tuck away in. Also, this is an old house with old house charm, Cale really preempts a lot of questions with super helpful signage throughout the house. Not sure which of the six knobs you need to turn on the shower? They already thought of that and have put helpful guidance on the wall. We cooked for 8 people in the kitchen and found it well stocked – they even have a crock pot. Overall, this was exactly what our group was looking for.

We loved our stay at Jason’s place! We had 10 total people staying for Labor Day weekend - 7 adults, 3 kids and a dog. We all had plenty of room, the house was gorgeous - especially the kitchen and living room! We used the pool, the lake (kayaks and canoes - lots of life jackets to choose from), the basketball court and were so thankful for the option to rent the pontoon boat! My son had a great time fishing. The neighborhood is very quiet. We also had fun checking out nearby antique shops one morning & going into Bangor one evening for dinner. We will be back!

This was our best trip so far! Bradley sent us amazing directions to find the location that was spot on. The place was designed and built beautifully! William was a nice thing to have being out in the unorganized territory. He was so friendly and there if we needed.

Very clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay! Very responsive and helpful hosts with any questions we had!

What an amazing place right in the heart of patten great deal right on snowmobiling and atv trailsd we will definitely be back and soon loved our stay, annie was very responsive if we had questions couldn't ask for a better air b&b absolutey wondering from beginning too end

Brenda's cabins are an excellent option for a visit to the Maine lakes region. We just love the fall colors around the cabins and there are nice trails for walks right on the property. Everything you'd need is right in the cabin and the location is just a 20 minute drive to Dover-Foxcroft and the beautiful Peaks-Kenny State Park and Moosehead Lake is under an hour. A day trip to Acadia is possible too.

This home was conveniently located for my purposes and was a perfect space for the number of guests I had. The space was beautiful, as was the location. We were comfortable and satisfied with all parts of the home. There was a small problem with a frozen pipe when we arrived, due to the frigid outside temperatures, and our hosts immediately took care of the issue. We would definitely stay again if needed in the future!

Stunning location. We deliberately chose "off season." We learned to always call ahead to a local destination, not just check the websites. Local residents and businesses were extremely polite and helpful. Unbeatable freshness and abundance of seafood. The chalet was warm, cozy, with every needed amenity. Jason was always quick to respond to inquires from the moment we booked the place. With all the places there are to go, we are not inclined to return to a particular location/rental - but this is one we would. We have already started recommending it to family and friends.

I had a wonderful stay here! The inside is clean and cozy! Plus we enjoyed being able to cook over the fire and hang out by the lake. The location is private and peaceful. 35 minutes to the entrance of Acadia but depending on what part of the park you are headed to it can be up to an hour drive. I would stay again!
