Debbie is a wonderful, kind and communicative host. We were welcomed with a smile and she talked to us about all the wonderful surroundings such as the pub and nature reserve just down the road. The lodge itself was clean and well presented and the hot tub was absolutely enormous! I’d absolutely recommend the Lincoln Retreat for a getaway and we will certainly be back again soon! Thank you so much for a magical stay at Lazy Nest we wanted for nothing the house was perfect and had all the amenities it was beautifully decorated for the Christmas period it was the perfect stay for our family hopefully will be returning soon.

Jane's place was a great base for my visiting family / friends in Nottinghamshire. Jane couldn't have been more helpful in making my stay smooth and enjoyable. I'd highly recommend!

Great place! The house has good spaces for everyone to sit together to talk, eat, a nice snooker room to play and a good outdoor area with fire pit and hot tub. We had a great time with friends and kids loved the place too. The Hot tub was great, even in winter temperatures! Bedrooms are big and comfortable. There is not a lot to do in the immediate surrounding areas, but if your purpose of renting the house is to spend time with family and friends, this is really not an issue. There are plenty of supermarket options not far. Overall, we had a lovely time here!

Elaine could not do enough to make my Mum and Dads stay more comfortable. Communication was great and nothing was too much trouble. The place is cosy yet has a unique twist. My Dad is a big fan of the reclining seats! The location is perfect if you are looking for a quiet get away with a top notch garden. Thanks Elaine!

So, getting to the location of which instructions were provided was very helpful which is great from Sue. When we arrived at the lodge it was a wow factor and how amazing the place was. It was clean throughout and Sue helped us with the features in the house and helped us get situated inside, the hot tub was also amazing especially at night, different types of board games at the lodge and also badminton. There’s two towns that’s quite close so if there’s anything needed it’s not that far away! Overall the stay was perfect!

This was a great location (so close to the centre of the city) and a lovely space for 3 of us to stay with a very comfy lounge, dining space and well equipped kitchen. Just a shame the weather was not good enough to enjoy the outside space! Maggie was so flexible about allowing us access to the parking permit before and after check in

Great little cabin, perfect for one night! Hot tub and watching the sunset was incredible. Bed was super comfy! Great price and highly recommend!

The getaway Cabin was the perfect overnight recharge. Great location for exploring the pretty villages of rural Lincolnshire. Very peaceful location, had everything we needed. Would highly recommend. Thanks for a great stay.

A wonderful location. Stamford is beautiful. The site itself is lovely. I would perhaps have taken a star off because the cost is rather high for what it is (and the space somewhat more limited than the Airbnb's photos suggest; the wifi is also not great but I appreciate that this is not really what sites like this are designed for) but I have to say, having stayed in many cottages and Airbnb's, that the hosts were just exceptional. They absolutely went out of their way to make sure we were warm and comfortable. we fell in love with it all really and would love to return.

stayed here for 2 nights with my girlfriend and little chihuahua, and had an amazing time. the location is perfect, so peaceful and quiet, and the hot tub was so nice to start and finish our day with. definitely coming back whenever we need a little break from life.

From arriving to leaving was just what we needed. Hot tub great. Great to see the buzzards and barn owls every day. also the view of the lake was simply stunning. Would definitely recommend to anyone needing a relaxing break.

The Nest is in a stunning location and the inside matches as well. The short walk ( stumble after a few drinks ) to the splash in is a beautiful one by the side of the river. The garden and waterside decking is amazing. Natalie was so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back
